Bangladesh was one of the top economic miracles, thanks to the secular, capitalistic globalisation that made Bangladesh the textiles manufacturing center of the world - but not any longer.
Bangladesh will be Pakistan No 2 thanks to creeping fundamentalism and coming back of the Jamaat Islamists who are on the way to take the country back to its Islamist roots.
Combine that with Bangladesh still being one of the top over-populated nation, with zero to very little energy resources, prone to natural disasters like cyclones, climate-change is going to kick it very hard, Islamism was the last thing Bangladesh needs.
Growing antagonism and rhetoric against India, one of its top trading partner from which it gets cotton and polymers as raw materials for its top textile industry, not to mention food materials for food security, it is insane.
Globalisation means no country can survive on its own. We are all partners.

it's similar to Japan's metro because this Bangladeshi metro was built by Japan, with the help of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and Bangladesh govt. these carriages were also built by Kawasaki.

@@frenchandindianreactOnly 2-3% of the garments order move to odisa, India. I think that's not the big issue for Bangladesh and In Bangladesh the cost is 30-40% cheaper than India. So i don’t think foreign companies will permanently shift there. Yeah we have some problem now but it will not gonna last for so many days. I am sorry to say your current govt. is still supporting 1424 student killer Sheikh Hasina. And spreading fake newses in your national television. It’s very sad for us as Neibour country.
