I love the way the vases turned out. On the second one I think I would add just a slight texture in the brush strokes especially at the bottom. I can't wait to try this on thrift finds. I'm new to your channel and so glad I came across it. New subscriber for sure!

👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍
These DIY vases are beautiful and unique. What brand of paint did you use ?
Thank you! For the brown I used Liquitex’s Basic paint (it comes in a set so I don’t have the exact shade) from Michaels’s, and for the white, DecoArt’s Americana paint, which you can get at Walmart 😊
What color did you use ?
New subscriber. ❤️❤️❤️
Happy to have you along! ❤️
Did you add it a sealant? Beautiful vases 😍
Thank you!! I didn't end up using a sealant and they've held up well so far, but if you have one on hand it definitely wouldn't hurt!
Do you recomend to apply a top coat to protect the paint? Great video
A sealer coat definitely wouldn’t hurt. I like Modge Podge brand. Thanks for watching! 😊
@@alexandrasabode8439 thanks for the quick reply 😊
How do you keep the paint and baking soda from falling off?
I didn’t find I had that issue as the mixture adhered well to the vases. If you’re worried about chips once dried, you could definitely spray a coat or two of sealant, though I personally didn’t find that necessary 😊
I like the last one very nice. Did you say you go the lavender from dollar tree or 99cent store?
Thank you! I actually got it at Dollarama in Toronto, Canada. Hope you can find some where you are, too! 😊
@@alexandrasabode8439 I copy i dont believe i heard of that store here in the states. i probably would have to order it from Amazon.
Hi I am a new subscriber and I really like your taste in home decor. I live in Toronto as well, can you recommend great thrift stores and their locations
Thank you so much for being here! I would say that I always have the best luck at the Salvation Army (both the Overlea Blvd and Kennedy Rd locations). Their prices are lower than Value Village and I usually find a greater quantity of things there. As a rule of thumb, I would stay away from any downtown thrift stores because they’re usually quite picked through. Hope that helps! 😊
Thank you, I'll definitely check it out
We mix baking soda with what?
Paint!
@@alexandrasabode8439 What kind of paint ? Acrylic?
Yes, I use acrylic paint in the video 😊
Love this but the background music is really distracting.
Si, muy bonito, pero este no es un video paso a paso. Vamos, como para aprender a hacerlo. Ya te vale.
❤️❤️❤️
