Thank you for the videos on the Hike. I have searched everywhere for dimensions of the floor space when in road mode. Width, length to corner of cabinet, length rear doors to side door, length from rear to front cabinets. Also rear door height/width. Any chance you could grab those and just post In comments? Thank You!! Nice job on the videos
Local dealer has a bunch of the 100’s various versions. The SB is definitely interesting option to replace our 4x6 tent on a trailer (two queen bunks only) Checking the space for bikes in road mode and if the two side benches can be used as individual bunks (likely with creative modifications to the bench for sleeping width) two teens need separate bunks. Parents up top. Also given the availability and crashing RV market I’m thinking they might hit a price point that reflects the trailer size and quality of the windows, door hardware systems assembly quality etc👍. 13yrs NP big trips with the kids we’ve been forced to cook inside twice. And bathroom would be used like our boat bathroom, emergencies mainly and this one having a shower space would likely be the main plus. Otherwise it makes a nice wet locker for wet gear and storage otherwise 👍 I would be happier if it was 18ft tail to hitch with a gear box on the front for trailer junk, straps, tire blocks, tools etc. I definitely think this is where travel Trailer makers need to move with modern active sporty families
The side / flip up seat’s curious what the seat depth front edge to the back cushion is. I wonder if just a lee cloth (racing sailboat bunk trick) would make it “functionally wide enough in seat mode for a bed. My kids cannot share a large bunk. They need a solid drop off the deeper the better between the bunks or its WWIII 😆
@@gmanvaca8269 I totally agree, I think manufacturers are reallocating taking a good look a the needs and wants of the active camper who mainly uses them to haul cargo and as a base camp to eat & sleep. The bottom benches fold down to make a near queen size bed. Either of the backrests can fold down to fill in the center area. With both of the backrests in the sitting position, the bench isn’t really wide enough to sleep comfortably.
I suspected as much on the seat width. I’m going to go look at one next week. All the trailers I need to do some kind of modification to make bunks functional for the kids. The flip seats/ beds probably will need creative re engineering for the separate bunks approach
Thank you, the salesman doesn't dnt show us anything, just said "go watch videos." So many thanks for this video!
