I knew that was Lenny I was scrolling through my TH-cam and I saw his face I said oh wow that looks like Lenny Stallsworth. Wow I had the pleasure of playing drums with Lenny several times in Boston he was very great or should I say still is. I'm looking at this phenomenal band and can say I played with the bass player before in my life. This is amazing. It's Father's Day here 2023 and it seems as though Lenny is saying Happy Father's Day Johnny. 👍🏼🤗🙋🙏🏼💯🥁🎸🪕🎹🎷🎺
One time I was at the vocal showcase at Slade's in Boston and Lennie was on the base and I was on the guitar and I started playing we want the Funk and I was sitting here trying to remember if Lenny play that with me before. And then all of a sudden they started playing it on this video what a revelation I was just sitting here imagining me playing that with Lenny at the vocal this is unbelievable that must have been a message from from Lenny God sure does have a sense of humor 😆🤓🥺👍🏼🙏🏼💯🙋
This while morning I’ve been watching different versions of the “scope” now I see how it evolved into the track which was released on the RH factor album distractions/nothing serious. Can’t believe I’ve only just found live versions of it decades later

It was on only on Distractions (and originally only the international version). It’s not on Nothing Serious.
熱いね!
There is also a quote from "Admiral Halsey" by Wings. I am still mining the rich vein that is Roy Hargrove's genius.

Reggie Washington I think he was super nervous, I can almost hear him shaking through the Sax
No doubt he’s a great sax player. It’s a probably another type of improvisation influenced by free jazz, I guess.
Another approach br0.🤲🏿💙
