The synth sounds
The springy wire and old handheld microphone
The song choice

Even the casual wear all makes it perfect.
But it's also so 2018 in a way. I think it's the lofi Japan aesthetic
I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days, before you've actually left them.

2024 and I'm back to watching this three times in a row. Cheers, man.
I mean the original is the original, but... if i was only allowed to listen to this version for the rest of my life .., can't say i'd be 𝐵𝓇𝑜𝓀𝑒𝓃 𝐻𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓉𝑒𝒹
I read the broken hearted on time with the song
And I wouldn't be blue since the day me and the other one parted
Nell guy why why did they ever let you go?
Why is this the best thing ever? From the grainy footage to the brief stopping of the backing track and the rhythmic skittering across some random street. It just the best
Rightt!!
2:38 I felt that. You felt that. Your mom felt that. Everyone felt that
Very true
I've come back to watch this so often that I forget it was only uploaded 5 years ago. That bird gets me every time.
I love the zooming in on random things
that editing is smoooooooth!!!!
You know VULFPECK right? This is like a carbon copy of JACK STRATTON's signature style.
LET THIS GUY PERFORM AT COACHELLA NEXT YEAR
Arctic Rebekah Nah, fuck Coachella. We need him at Afropunk
Arctic Rebekah I’d go off
lmao ok "Arctic Rebekah" sounds like an edgy punk rock band name

Arctic Rebekah Lol, the struggles are real in the Arctic Monkeys community, I knew it immediately😂
何これ!?地元なのに何故かいい感じに見える😂歌ってくれてありがとう

Who in their right mind would cheat on a man in a river in Japan singing.

Your dedication to shorts is impressive.
Because they're comfy and easy to wear, duh
I came from reddit too.
What is subreddit?
I could see this also work as a song where you speak about trying to let go of your self that personifies your guilts and grudges and misgivings, and still wanting to be with them/ coming back to them.
Reddit said your girlfriend broke up with you right before your trip? If true then we can clearly deduce she's a fool who will miss out on the eternally beautiful soul-experience that is Austin Weber. This video brought me such joy as to dampen depression, and play in my mind's youtube randomly all day, or just when I need a pick-me-up.I shared it with my wife and she affirmed my appreciation with the comment:"There are few perfect things in this world. This video is one of them."
Maybe he had been cheated by her since he doesn't know when.
And maybe so he made up his mind, it had to come to an end.
But look at him now!
Will he ever learn?
He doesn't know how, but suddenly looses control. There's a fire within his soul.
Just one look and he can hear the bell ring. One more look and he'll forget everything.
zerothepr0t0typ3 I have my doubts on the reddit title. The dude filming can be seen in the bus window reflection and he doesn’t look old enough to be his dad, but it is hard to say for sure.
This video has been recommended to me since absolutely forever and today I finally broke...this...this is a masterpiece.
I broke today. This video is amazing
Me too, I kept looking at the recommendation like nahhh...not today.
just joining the train here dont mind me - totally worth breaking
