i am in the market looking for a tailbag for my 2016 1290 so i dont have to carry the topcase on daytrips. this looks like the perfect size. i basicaly need it to store the thermal layers if the day gets too hot, since i already have a small tankbag too. i was looking for something cheaper, like a Givi, but their mount system looks too messy to take it out when i need the topcase. this actually looks amazing, and the mounting straps are dead easy on the baseplate, which is basically the same as mine. so how is it after 1 year of use? black friday is coming and they have a 20% off, so i am thinking of getting it
It's still the same as in the video 🙂 It's not the cheapest but this is really a strong tailbag and perfect weatherproof. I have it on the bike all the time and I never have to worry about the things inside 👍👍
I can't see directly a partnr, but I think the carrier plate comes with the touring topcase. It's not on my KTM order and I cannot find it in the KTM catalog so I think they forgot to give it to you. If you can't figure it out, let me know and then I disassemble my carrier plate to check the bottom for a partnr

There's a Art.nr. 619.12.911.100 and a SNr. 1004208 on the bottom !!! So normally this will help you to order the carrierplate ! Greetings and ride safe !
Would strongly recommend to consider other companies for luggage. Their customer service is a joke. If you have any issues with the product, good luck in reaching them as they do not answer their phone numbers. They also delete any comments critical of their service on their TH-cam channel or any other social media which is a very poor tactic...
