Disclaimer: No Crocs were harmed making this movie 😉 I have nothing against Top Cases/Boxes and the awesome people who use them. It's called comedy, never let the truth get in the way of a good yarn! Cheers, Nick
Great Review on a cool tank bag. Good idea on the charging port for power. I was trying to think of an excellent way to charge other devices off the bike, and the trickle charging slipped my mind.
When my Givi tank bag zip packed up I went for a new tail bag instead but after 2 or 3 trips out I found it was no good for me, I'm getting that old and senile now that I spent too much time worrying whether I'd zipped it back up after my last stop or whether the zip was slowly undoing itself and I was leaving a trail of goodies down the road, I kept stopping to check it. In the end I took the tank-lock bit off the knackered Givi and fitted it to the new tail bag, now it's always in front of me and I can see that it's zipped up.
Saw your video a little while back when I was considering buying this tail-pack. Unfortunately Lone Rider has since "cheaped-out" and replaced the metal G-buckle for a plastic one in the tail-pack I've received - It's a bit disconcerting for me, I've had plastic buckles fail many-a-time and these don't instil confidence. Fortunately I had some spare straps from a Kriega product I once had with metal G-buckles so I used those instead (I think Kriega sold them on their own for about 30GBP a few years back - don't know if they're still available). However, it is very good webbing, but the plastic substitute is poor-form... It's a bit of a let-down on the quality of the bag which is Tip-Top! I like the internal velcro/hook&loop divider, but they could have taken a "leaf" from camera-bags that have more room for customisation - But that's my personal issue. For me: The pack is 7/10... They could have cut-costs/done away with the included shoulder-strap and painted/sintered-alloy buckles for the shoulder-strap (which few-nobody use) and kept the metal G-buckles. If they used a similar interior material to a camera-bag which allowed for a more neater use of the divider, I'd be singing "10/10" for this pack! It's built really well, tighter than a duck's arsehole if you leave tools or electronics in it in the middle of a deluge. And it looks the tits!
@ShallowBeThyGames this is great feedback, I will pass it back to the Lone Rider team. My pack is a few years old and still looks good. I agree on the soft foam internals, that's a great idea for camera gear. Personally I think a slighter bigger version would be awesome too. Anyway, thanks again for visiting my channel and leaving a comment, I really appreciate it.

Wow Nick. This is absolutely amazing. Love it. Attention to details. Love the still shots. Perfect review.
Thanks @RamiDaoud, keep on Croc'in!

I guess rhe Lone Rider guys assume all charging is done at the front of the bike?
Appreciate the presentation.
Confirmed my purchase.
Liked and sub.
Ride safe.
Awesome, thanks mate!

Got to admit, I suffer from the same phobia!
‘Given up on manhood’ 😂😂😂😂
No one can put it better than that!
One day I'll come out of the Crocs closet!

Would be nice if you would have shown how to do the straps !!! Cheers !!!
@@rohandias9690 Good point mate, lesson learned for next time!
Great video Nick. p.s. I like my top box :)
Keep on Croc'in mate!
I wish this can accommodate a full face helmet.
Agreed, my top box stays at home and makes a great place to store my junk. Look like a well-made product, however that space is reserved for my helmet
You'd need a small head to fit a helmet in the tail pack!
Poor Crocs 😂 great video Nick!
What a Croc!
Too bad LR didn’t incorporate a locking device. A design to be able to use the steel core tie down would have been nice.
That would be cool, theu could use the loop they have on the Overlander bags...
That made my day 😂 thanks mate great video
Glad you liked it mate, I had a laugh putting it together...
Great video ride safe
Thanks mate, take it easy!

@@phillippayne8170 if there's an Aussie flag at the top of their website I believe you're on the right page, so the prices quoted should be AU$
