Hey Mark! I found you on Corvette Forum (I'm petdoc there). I too have a '67 coupe and live in Boerne, Tx. I'm also a youtuber, and I think I was your first (maybe second) subscriber. This is gonna be a fun video series from a chunk of coal to a diamond; nuthin better than a 67 vette coupe. Helpful hint from the "experienced" lol: your vids will be much more viewer friendly if you turn your phone/camera sideways to get a "landscape" (wide, side to side) orientation. This will surely be a successful channel as you're personable and knowledgeable too! Excited for you, your vette, and your channel!

Thanks for the feedback and subscribe. I'm not sure why I used my phone to film this, I have a perfectly good GoPro and tripod. By the time I realized that everything was vertical I was done with getting it started with hours of video to edit. The next video will be the correct orientation if I'm still using my phone

Looks like you are at the start of a very enjoyable journey. Your 67 hopefully still has the building sheet on top of the fuel tank. I caught a glimpse of the tachometer I don't think it came with a 427 but I'm no expert. I'm doing a 65 that sat for 40 years. Almost done. It was fun. Best of luck. Most of all don't give up.

Nice, they are getting harder and harder to find as a project. Based on the differential numbers, this was originally a 327 4 speed posi car. The build sheet would be nice, but i doubt itll change my mind on retro-modding

283 was not an option for a 1967 corvette. The original engine options were a 350, L36 427 with a four barrel carb, an L68 with tri power carb. ( three duel carbs ) and the L88 that came with an aluminum block and heads with a large port carb.

Great job!!! When you swap out this engine, at least you know it does run and someone out there just might be looking for a 283.

I bet they took that 427 engine out either because they blew it up or it was the gas crisis around that time frame.

i was looking at some numbers on the diff, and it looks like it originally came with a 327, someone just liked the go fast numbers on the hood
