Driving an EV to Taiping with low battery. Are there enough EV chargers on WCE?

We drove a Kia EV6 to Taiping via WCE until low battery during festive weekend season. Not enough chargers on WCE? Queue until battery kong? Watch to find out.

The charger location on WCE doesn’t seem friendly to the RFID user who needs to make an immediate left turn after the toll across many invisible lanes. This can be dangerous but only to the driver but also to the TNG user exiting the toll.

I just stumbled upon the EV chargers a few weeks ago while makan at Taiping. So great to see the charging stations starting to pop up everywhere. Not gonna buy EV myself but I hope see to more EVs on the road. They are so cool.

Before anyone says that EV car will save you money, I want to do a breakdown the cost to setup EV charger at home first:
To setup a decent charging station at home/future proof setup, you need 3phase and a future proof DC charger and that will cost you 30k-40k to setup.
You need to fork up the setup money first, are you really saving it?? Calculation within 5yrs, I don't think my petrol cost will reach 40k. I didn't even add the cost of you using the public charger that you need to pay. Lolzzz.

@departurexx1520 you don't need DC charger at home. AC charger is enough as you can charge it overnight and it's full the next morning.

Depends on the wallbox, the EV's battery and the on board charger. The EV6 has a 77kWh battery and if its from 10%, takes 7 hours to fully charge with a 11kW charger. ​@departurexx1520

Charge kat rumah baru lah jimat duit 'minyak'. Charge kat luar mmg mahal, so guna bila perlu je. Kalau tak boleh charge kat rumah, jgn beli EV. Harga kereta mahal tu.. saya setuju lah mmg mahal 🤣 EV bukan lah utk semua org, at least not yet
