- Our lastest addition to the Saberface roster is Castoria Summer Berserker, Aka Zerktoria, Basatoria, or Bastoria. She doesn't have the best refund on paper but combined with her incredible kit and synergy with other art's supports you'll find this isn't a problem. While her raw damage is actually pretty normal by comparison to her competition, she winds up T-posing on them whenever the target is chaotic, divine, or threat against humanity! In this complete analysis we talk about those refund and damage numbers as well as some concerns in her kit and intangibles!

Zerktoria certainly was a surprise! I think a lot of people expected her to be yet another summer aoe arts berserker, but I had been saying that I felt and hoped that she would be single target. What's stunning to me is the damage scalability and the ability to protect the party. How do you guys feel about Zerktoria? And what are you hoping to see for the second banner tomorrow? Apologies in advantage for all the servant analysis vids, I'm just swamped trying to cover everything on NA and JP! Wish she was AoE tbh, not because I don't want ST but because we still don't have a good omni-farmer Artoria: Ruler is gimped by abysmally low atk and no NP upgrade; Idol X doesn't even have starting charge (append excluded), so her looping is kinda ugly.
Oh well, still threw 800 SQ and got best girl zerk version NP 3, on her way to 120. I'm happy.

@@Luca-yb4sh What's not generic about Salter? Why extra class? At NP5 Salter can even farm against Archers.
In my opinion, she sidelines Vlad and Galatea quite a bit. She just straight up has super-damage vs. "Threat to Humanity" which is a trait almost all the big bads in Cosmos in the Lostbelt have (ORT, all of the LB6 Calamities including Cern, Oberon, and the Trees all have it), so she's nearly guaranteed to be supereffective against chapter bosses. Because of her tendency to be deployed with "vanilla" Castoria, she can dish out even MORE threat to humanity extra damage.
And then on top of it she also has extra damage against Chaotic and Divinity! And she's incredibly hard to kill with her crit defenses and her various means of applying invulnerability to herself too. She's gotta be the queen of boss killers at this point.
her stage 2 ascension is so damn cute. the designs for this year's summer servants are just one massive W.

The most cursed name for her I've seen is: Castoria Summer = C(astoria) (S)ummer = Cummer. Is this more cursed than Jerker?
Seems like Draco is for servants while Blastoria can hit non servant's niches while vlad does best if neither them can hit a niche
If her defence on NP stacked with Castoria, she'd be so OP for invincible comp...

I'm glad we're getting more varied servants, but I'm just slightly disappointed that she's ST, mainly for the reason that I personally can't use her that much. Castoria is one of my favorite characters, but while we have more 90++ nodes nowadays that require ST units, those are almost all event specific and especially with JP's current schedule, it feels like we get one event every other month. Bosses that require such robust ST units are even less frequent. Hope we get more permanent content that's ST focused, so recent ST units (like Medusa, like Zerktoria, etc.) can truly shine and feel the farming burn.
This banner is insane, but I will wait for the Meluko banner to be released before committing on rolling.
Welp got her NP5, three copies in one pull... But couldn't get Suzuka so I am a bit Sad.
This summer is insanely packed. Good call on waiting for Kuro, there's a lot to process with her.
Sustoria seems real good. I still don't have an ST Arts berserker, so I'm definitely interested.
going to point out that TTH + 1 of the other 2 traits only happens on 1 of the non-Foreigner servants in the game, exactly as likely as TTH+ both traits.
There are 5 foreigners that have all three traits, Summer Castoria Outdamages alteregos against them, thats how high her scaling is

But once you do, for my spreadsheet (which is only one setup) S. Castoria his 292k, less than Sitonai hits at 1.5x (300k) let alone the higher damage units.

She is pretty good but i ll still be using vlad, i personally like his refund.
it feels like a choice between refund vs initial charge. Both are pretty solid regardless.
NP 5 Chloe (and NP1 Susuka) trying to get single Artoria ... I don't have an Artoria.
I’m glad she’s single target, but the fact that she just further dogs Galatea is a bit unfortunate.
I’m still coping and hoping for a secret non LB6 5 star, but I don’t think it’s happening.
Galatea still has higher damage than S.Castoria (counting with supports) if she doesn't hit her niches.
@@flashmozzg And being a permanent, an older one at that, you’re going to statistically have more of Galatea. That’s a plus.

@@franciscoarzapalozapata4610 Yeah. Kinda makes Miss Crane obsolete. Now Miss Crane needs some sort of buff, like NP upgrade that'll make that charge "end of turn" effect or something, to make her relevant again.

Her final ascension is kinda goofy. I'll keep her on Ascension 1.

Excellent analysis as always Khad, though you didn't go over the most "well rounded" aspect of her design lol. The cake in her FA 🍑
One thing about her damage against Threat to Humanity is that it's *really* mid for her, since there are only 2 Threats to Humanity that aren't Foreigners: Oberon and Hokusaber. All of them except for Oberon are also Divine Servants, and some of them are even Chaotic, but you'll never want to bring a Berserker against a Foreigner, even if you get the triple niches.

Well now i feel kinda stupid for investing on vlad. It really took the drive out of me from actually playing the game
Vlad is still damn good. I'd say theyre pretty comparable in dps.
Vlad is a much better ST farming looper than Castoria Summer. His refund is insane, while Castoria's is more comparable to Kriemhild. Castoria has a higher damage ceiling and card performance, but her refund is crap. Vlad can easily loop 1/1/1 nodes with just double Castoria Caster. I have him at NP1 and he kills everything I need him to easily. I easily 6 CE slotted the 1/1/3 90+ node in Grand Nerofest with just NP1 Vlad taking the first 2 waves and NP1 Oberon taking the final wave (double Castoria of course). No carding needed ever. Castoria is probably better for boss killing and multicore farming though.
This is why people will tell you to invest in your waifus or husbandos and not just some random units because they are deemed meta by the community.
they are very close ones better than other in certain scenerios. if you have a well belt vlad she isnt worth rolling meta wise.
Don't worry, you can still Morb your way through the game with Vlad, and in some aspects Vlad is better.
Even in multicore scenario you can't just flat out say that Castoria3 is better 100% of the time, you have to keep in mind that although she has HUGE batter and targeted 20% her refund is mid, meaning in multicore scenario in which MOST of the time you are not using double support her refund is gonna be even worse, and Vlad have the compatibility to work in 100% synergy with arguably the best multicore farmer in the game, Tezcatlipoca.
