These vibrant textures are really particular, they are not often heard!

I see that Midjourney has had quite the upgrade since I used it last! I mostly use Stable Diffusion now, but it's nice to see the comparisons between both AIs! Good work as always!! Can't wait to buy this off of your bandcamp too. It's nice to see some of my favourite ambience artists finally uploading things to bandcamp for people to purchase!!!

"Airdrop completed successfully," the woman sitting next to me said, looking at the two tiers of computer screens in front of her.
"Good," I said. "How soon does it land and how far away this time?"
"Roughly half an hour, if the retrojets don't fail again," she said. "Impact close to the last one."
I made a face. "They've got to aim it better than that. What happens if it lands during a sandstorm?"
"At least we can locate it if it's subsurface," she said. "Hopefully it won't take as long as last time." She paused. "Was it like this when you were training on Antarctica?"
I nodded. "All except the sand. With the melting of Antarctica's ice fields, there wasn't much sand to be blown about by high winds. Not yet anyway. But give it another decade or so, and it'll probably look similar to the Sahara."
"Are you usually this cheerful and optimistic?" she asked.
"Why?" I replied. "Were you warned during transit from the Moon what I was like?"
"No details," she admitted. "But considering what we have to deal with here on Mars, I can't say I blame you. Maybe once terraforming is complete and Mars looks less like a desert and more like savannah and forests, these sandstorms will seem like just a bad dream."
"It's easily possible neither you nor I will be alive when that stage is reached," I said.
I was about to turn and head back to my station when she said, "Ma'am? What did happen to the last shipment?"
"What did they tell you?" I replied, not looking at her.
"Plenty of conflicting information," she said. "I was hoping for the truth from you."
I thought about it, then said, "Let's just say that Mars wasn't completely uninhabited prior to human colonization. And I don't mean just the bacteria."
"Animal, plant, or mineral?" she asked.
"A little of all three," I said. "You've read the late Frank Herbert's Dune books?"
She nodded. "When I was in grade school."
"It was the Martian equivalent of a sandworm," I said, "and not one of the smaller ones."
"Oh," she said. "Thank you for being honest with me."
"You're welcome," I said and started back to my station.
As I did so, alarms suddenly went off and red emergency lights replaced the usual white-yellow ones.
"Ma'am?" she called to me. "I think you'll want to see this. Screen eight." She pointed at it.
    I swore softly.
    She pointed at screen eight.
I rolled my eyes. "And headed right for the rough location of the airdrop. You'd think it was sensitive not just to land-based movements but also aerial movements. Get General Mboku. ASAP. He won't be pleased, but there's nothing you or I can do about that.""
"Yes, ma'am," she said and did so. "General? My boss needs to speak with you."
"Can't you shut off that infernal noise first?" the general asked, wincing.
"Incoming native fauna, sir," I said. "One of the bigger ones this time."
"You'd better not be crying 'wolf'," he told me.
"Wish I were," I said. "Automatic defenses are already activated. Might not be enough, though."
"I'll send you all the help I can spare," the general said.
"Appreciated, sir," I said. "Hopefully we'll all be here when your help arrives. If not, it was nice knowing you."
    "Likewise," he said.
(That's the best I can do for now. Sorry for the cliff-hanger. -Philip)

We landed and found it absolutely abandoned. Rotten food is still on the table with the generators barely online. Complete silence. We wonder what has happened 🤔

I simply love this piece. It stands out from all the others that basically sound nearly identical from all the others.
    One thing though....
Does every ambient piece have to have rain in them ?
