Great review! I've already placed an order for this bag prior to watching your video, but now I'm even more excited for its delivery. Typically reviewers utilize elaborate lighting setups and showcase the bag from a distance, unlike this close-up and with natural lighting. I like natural lighting more because I can see how it actually looks like. Looking forward to more of your videos as a fellow enthusiast of travel bags! 🔥
Thank you for your kind remarks. As someone who is new to TH-cam, I’m trying to find what works and what doesn’t. This really helps me put things into perspective. Thank you.
I'm glad I watched this. I didn't even think of strapping a pair of shoes to the outside. 🙌 Great idea for me for tossing a pair of flip flops or dress sandals in.
I wouldn’t say that the material is crinkled. There are slight lines along the front that may make it appear this way. X-PAC definitely looks better. I have the ballistic nylon in another AER backpack and it didn’t feel or look as premium. Plus that orange lining is so beautiful!
I prefer the ballistic version over the X-PAC version. I agree with Dane the ballistic version doesn't look premium, but I don't like the hard feeling of the X-PAC version in use.
@@daneondemand Guilty! LOL! I got the X-pac only because of the orange interior. The actual outer material... meh... I'm not a fan of. Feels "plasticky" and crinkly to me
Are we talking just shoes or shoes with clothes, toiletries etc? If you are using it as a shoe bag I would say maybe 3-4 pairs. If you are packing clothes, toiletries etc i would say you could fit 1-2 pairs. All depends on what you are packing etc. Personally, I clip a shoe bag to the outside and try to travel as light as possible.
@@daneondemand thanks for the response. I want one only for shoes. I usually put them inside my carry on but they take half space. I also use a carry on when traveling.
If you are interested in a smaller version of this backpack, check out the AER Travel Pack 3 Small.
Great review!

@@daneondemand It's not like advice, I mean I like your style! More than fancy ones. Sorry if I made a misunderstanding, I'm not a native speaker🙏

Awesome review
Thank you for watching!
Dane- Great video. Not sure where to get Xpac in that green. Did you buy at aer? Thx
Hi, yes! I picked up on aer website. It’s actually black.
@@daneondemand Thanks! Must be the light.
Nice video. Does the X-PAC material look crinkled? Which looks better ballistic nylon or X-PAC?

If AER made the ballistic version with a nice color like orange that would be a game changer! I think a lot of folks go X-PAC for the color.

Large or small for 6’0 tall male EDC but looking for something to go away for weekends and a week.
EDC I would go small. The Large is a little too bulky for everyday carry I think.
How many pairs of shoes would you say fit?
