    i feel like there's unused space around the compression packing cubes that could be utilized but that's just me. i love the idea of the sling though. pretty nifty

    I’ve been using the same exact combo during my last 2 trips. And in the last one I was even able to put my Goruck bullet laptop 16” inside of the Aer travel pack 3 to carry my Macbook and daily essentials when moving around the city

    Thanks for the video! I love the orange packing cubes. May I ask - did you use the TP3 in conjunction with the waist straps?

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      nope. I don't like waist straps. I use sternum straps religiously, but I hate travelling with a waist belt.

    I may have missed it, but I can’t go without a water bottle. Sounds like you’re gonna have a great trip. Have fun!

      I’ll likely bring my memo-bottle

    Used to be a backpack traveler when I was younger. Now I use carryon luggage. So much better on my back

    Do you know if this can be carried on international flights?

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      check with your airline of choice! Aer also has a SMALL version.
      Dimensions
      Length: 21.5" (54.5 cm)
      Width: 13" (33 cm)
      Depth: 9" (21.5 cm)

    the weight of 2 week travel stuff just fine or did think the hip belt would be helpful?

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't like hip belts - but I think most people would want them...and depends on your travel load.

    Hi, great review! thoughts on the travel pack 3. Do you feel it’s better to get the Ballistic Nylon version or is the X-pac worth the upgrade?

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I like the XPAC primarily because I want a high contrast interior. That’s why I paid for the upgrade

    Hi I’m using a similar set up but I have the small version. I use the Go Sling by Alpaka. What camera do you take to film your content when you travel? Safe travels…

    No second pair of shoes? Is there enough room for an extra pair of shoes in main compartment?

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the shoes. I intentionally did not bring a second pair.

    Great video. How much weight will you be carrying? I always one bag carry so I ranger roll a set of clothing (top, bottom, socks and undies) together and take about 4-5 sets. Leave stuff behind that is no longer needed and come back much lighter.

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  ปีที่แล้ว

      22 pounds total for both bags fully loaded

    Great job! I will never travel without packing cubes and all mine are compression cubes from amazon. I believe that a capsule wardrobe is the way to go and it has never failed me. Are you only travelling with the shoes you are wearing? I can't wait to hear how this pack compare with the Alpa. :)

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes - one pair of shoes...I got everything I'm carrying down to 22 pounds....don't want to add more.

    Wonderful video! How was Japan? I'll be visiting there next year and just received my travel aer pack 3. Did you bring it as a carry-on or personal bag? I'm travelling to Vegas soon and was intending to use it as a personal bag but considering how stiff the padding for the back is, I am afraid it's not going to pass. What was your experience and do you think it'll fit? Thanks!

    • @ThePerfectBag

      Carry on for me and personal item was my day sling max 3

    Very helpful video!
    Just wondering, how many shirts and pairs of pants did you pack?
    I’m planning on doing a two week trip as well but I want space in the bag to shop for clothes and other things.
    I would probably only pack 3-4 shirts and 1 pair of pants and shorts so I have space for whatever I buy.

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Similar. I packed about six t shirts and a few thin pullovers and one pair of pants besides the ones I was wearing

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes - that’s the zero grid wallet - I’ve used it on three international trips and I love it.

      I’m going to hit up ATMs at airport and 7-11 for cash

    Good video, it should be a fun trip. What is the weight of fully packed backpack that you are going to carry-on? I have made many flights to Asia and sometimes the check-in agent weighs the bag. Check the airline weight limit for carry-on. If you have a laptop, they usually will allow a little more. Tip: They never weigh the "personal item" so it can be heavy.

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The backpack is around 19 pounds

      Did I bring liquids? Toothpaste for sure. I purchased everything else on the other side.
