I can't stop crying...humans are the most horrid creatures on earth. Thank you Lee. Xx the sadness and fear in her eyes is almost taking my breath away.
It might be more accurate to consider that humans have a lot of potential. Sometimes they are very, very good, and sometimes they are horrid. The good that people can do is amazing. Here is a whole team of people already helping that dog and now, it will really boost with The Asher House and the pack.

Yup, there's horrid creatures, then there's Lee.
It goes to show that some humans walk in light some walk in darkness. Thankfully Lee was able to make up for the pain caused by another.
The way he brings himself into her world with the direct eye contact, the direct touches and kisses. She knows Dad loves her and has chosen her😭😭😭😭😭😭.
When they had first eye contact, she knew she was safe.
She just looked at him and it was all over. She didn't have to wonder about her life anymore. I wish tonight was tomorrow. He's an Angel on Earth.

Lee and another one, Takis. Takis sanctuary is on the other side of the world. They both have helped so many animals. Not just dogs, but all kinds of animals. I would know Lee's and Takis voice anywhere. Two of the most loving men in the world. Just wish there were more men like this out there.
There is also a beautiful couple from Turkey who help animals. Seeing as they now shoot people who help stray dogs it shows what amazing people they are.
We are blessed to have Lee and other people like him in this world.

I am so glad you took Daisy into your care! She now has a chance to blossom, and be the dog she was meant to be! She looked so hopeful when you kissed her…she knew she was being loved!

😭😭 I picked up a rescue in the same state….took a year to get him ‘healthy’ (he had stomach and bone issues his entire life), but from day 1, he was BEST dog I ever had! Get well baby girl 💗
I adopted a Pitt Bull that weighed 23 pounds and he us my heart. 5 years later, he's still here. Healthy and chubby. He was very abused and starved and lived in a cage until me. I have a tiny homestead and his first love was a crippled rescue duck I had. He's great with all animals and is partial to kittens and baby chicks....
Daisy surprisingly seems to walk steadily considering she has no muscle mass, I love the way she melts into Lee's arms when he carries her. Give her a month of all she can eat puppy chow and we're going to see a wonderful young lady emerge! ❤️
Unfortunately when a dog is that thin u have to feed them slow little amounts of food at a time and it so sad because they know how hungry those poor fur babies are but they can die if you feed them normal amounts or let them eat to fast some people give them a tray dish that makes them work to get the food out so they can't wolf it down

@@MsWarriordiva it so sad poor Daisy thank goodness she is with Lee now he is going to have that dog not only phisically better in time but also mentally better too it has to be horrible for lee he is going to watch that poor dog starving and begging for more food and he's going to have to tell her no just so he can save her life and get her back to healthy that part of it would break my heart because u know she is so hungry but she has to be fed slow poor thing it's pure cruelty to starve a dog like that and pure lazyness it's not hard to put some food and water in a dish a couple of times a day I will never understand how any one can be so cruel thank goodness for Lee Asher he is a angel on earth for all those animals
@@jenniferfloyd9179 you do have to control the amounts somewhat... I shouldn't have said "all you can eat".. Puppy Chow is great for bringing even older dogs back from the brink. So high in calories nutrients and protein!
One of my friends fostered a dog with esophagitis probably caused by early starvation but after some time that dog was able to eat normally from a bowl. My lab rescue still wolfs down food like I've never fed him but that's a lab thing 🤣

So, bittersweet story, but exactly 4 weeks ago (5/27/22), I had to say goodbye to my Daisy. My baby lady Miss Daisy was a puggle who graced the world (and my life) for just short of 15 years. Her loss is still fresh in my mind and her presence is missed dearly, but seeing this today reminded me of her and made me think of all the love and gratitude she had in her strong little heart. So glad to see this Daisy in caring hands, you can tell that she has so much love and gratitude, too. And a strong little heart to boot! I'm rooting for her. 💛
(In my Daisy's younger years, she was on the chunkier side, so maybe she'll pass on a little bit of her happy chonk energy to a fellow Daisy from beyond!🌼)

I cannot wait to see further episodes of Daisy, to see her spirits rise. She seems so shut down and shy. Lee will soon remedy that and she'll become a happy, outgoing girl with lots of friends.

Reminds me of my girl from years ago.. 20 lbs at rescue and topped out at 56 lbs eventually, a Chow. We cried then and were crying watching this video. God bless you.

Out of my 14 rescues, over a 50 year span, Annie my golden came from a mill, so badly treated, and lived in a cage for her entire 4 years. We loved all of our rescues, so many different breeds, but Annie looked into my eyes and my soul.
They are a very special breed.
