Did you upgrade the LED lights on this receiver? Seems brighter than other demos I’ve seen. Looks and sounds nice.

No upgrades at all , the wonderful greenish glow is stock from the factory . Thank you for the comment, it's a great little receiver.

Now that I call a sweet sounding setup! It's amazing how crisp, full, and well propagated sound comes out of this amp. To the extent that after seeing your clip I bought 210 for myself :D It made my Sansui G5000 go to storage. Can you tell something more about your setup? What cartridge are you using, what speakers and cables? Are you playing via the TAPE circuit with additional pre-amp or have you just pushed the signal via PHONO stage in 210? I tend to have better results, sound wise, when playing via tape circuit + Schiit Mani pre-amp. Lovely sound. Best kept Sansui Tuner amp secret ;-) :-) :-)

Ok - I can see you are playing via PHONO stage with the Loudness set to off :-) Cool stuff!!! :-)

Thank you! No I'm just using the phono stage right on board, no preamp at all , using standard 16 gage monster wires , the speakers are JBL L16 which are a perfect match . The Cartridge is a Sure 97 XE as I recall . What I love about this set up is how it performs at low day to day listening levels , my big system gets lost in this area . Thank you for your comment. Steve

@@doinsngoins Very well balanced system :-) What was your "road" to Sansui 210? I'm pretty much lost for words, that this unit does not get attention that it should. I played on many amps: Sansui A-60, TA-300, TA-500, NAD 3020, G5000 and from my perspective none of these had the sweetness of the 210. 210 sounds slightly towards tube systems - music is relaxed, specious and just like you mentioned, with incredibly "to the point" accurate, not to heavy bass. I wouldn't call this amp neither bright, nor warm. It's just one very well balanced sounding unit. I looked inside and from the quality perspective it looks top notch. I wonder, whether later produced Sansui amps - B 2101 etc. got their naming convention from "our" 210. I would not be surprised :-) Fantastic amp that is still affordable (considering currently on-going hype for the brand) :-) I can't live without it :D My setup consists of: Amp, Kef q60 speakers, kimber 4vs cables, Schiit Mani and Modi pre-amp and DAC. Sweet sounding stuff. Turntable plays via Goldring 1042 cartridge. If I lived in the USA I would greatly consider buying ZU Omen Dirty Weekend speakers for it :-)) Once again - thank you for your video - it is with the music from it where I realized that I must try this amplituner out :) 10/10 :)

@@okuninushi wow, very 👏 nice system, my road was less science, more experience. I have had them all , not literally but generally all the big brands and models , they for the most part were all very good, each in their own way.
It occurred to me over all these years that less power can be as good for my taste in music and especially at low to average listening levels.
My baseline for this concept starts with the HK Twin 70. Note that this is my experience, many I'm sure will differ in opinion.
Now speakers are key , matching up good speakers with less than mighty receivers is super important, Acoustic research AR4 Speakers are my baseline.

      What a catch!
And I have many other nice receivers
It is nicely balanced I must say
