Thanks Bryan. Beautiful receiver. Very familiar with this one my father bought one new ( within Canada also ) and it was what I basically grew up using. I can feel those two middle toggles and the bevelled edge dials just by looking at the video :) Appreciate the lookthrough.
Baby Sansui with a big Sansui sound. My 210 is driving Cornwall 1, volume dial @ 10 o’clock is pretty much enough to get my wife and dogs out of the room. Love it!
I prefer the smaller receivers and amplifiers. I've had more than a few monster receivers from the 1970's and I'm glad I sold them, they were nothing but trouble and whenever they needed servicing, hauling them to and from repair shops was a huge pain.
The added circuitry needed to get from 10 watts to 100 watts RMS really adds weight! Years ago I had a 30 pounder Luxman slip out of my hands and land on my foot and break 2 toes.
I'm running my 210 to the Sony CS-5 speakers, as my computer desk audio system. I really love the way it looks and sounds.
I have an old Sansui stereo amplifier I bought overseas while working for Uncle Sam in 1971. The sound is amazing with matching box speakers.
2:43 I really appreciate tips like these, as a novicee restorer - helpful, thanks!
Thanks Bryan.

It's a gutsy receiver with finesse.

Yep: Had a Pioneer SX1280 sold it after two trips to repair shop.
I just bought a 250, with the cool eye. The only thing wrong is a broken treble knob. Great video, by the way.
I have a 310 and as far as my technician say it is simular to the 210.
