    I've just got a '91 300E and I have to change the struts, your video was very helpful. Thank you.

    i like how you let us know maybe don't try this ourselves without lots of upper body strength, then 5 seconds later we see you stepping on the wrench lol :D
    if i do this job, i am definitely using my legs!

      Yes, definitely look after your body. I actually have back problems myself.

    Thank you SO much for this video! It enabled me to change out the struts in my newly acquired 1993 300E with no problems. Much appreciated!

      Great to hear! I will have a bunch more videos coming up on the car too, I’m trying to go through and get everything up to par because I have some long trips planned in it.

    Um, is that a Ford engine in a Mercedes?

    • @CarswithNash
      @CarswithNash  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yup! A healthy little 302 I put together years ago and I have a built AOD behind it and a differential from an '08 Chrysler 300. The original M103 was completely worn out and slipping transmission, so this was the solution.

  • @ivanwhisker6932
    @ivanwhisker6932 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Why has this w124 got a shitty ford engine in it how insulting putting crap like that 8n a mercedes

    • @CarswithNash
      @CarswithNash  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, having twice the power and a transmission that actually performs is really annoying.

    Your putting KYB struts on! I’m no longer watching this vid…that’s pure garbage struts

      Don't know what to tell you, but the car rides amazing with them.
