GOLDEE'S BACKYARD SMOKER IDEA IN MY DREAM OFFSET BUILD PT.1

- So, for a few years now, it's been my dream to build and design my own offset smoker from scratch... but I have never really had the money or means to get it done. Luckily for me, a good friend has offered to help with the fabrication, along with some others, for bit's here and there (Watch to find out 😉)
Also, big thanks to Smokey Oak Barbecue for their help and advice!
Goldee's new offset really caught my eye with the 90 coming out of the fire box!
I reached out to them, asking to completely replicate it, and they basically said,'Go for it'!
But then I thought about how I want to design my own offset smoker and how my build will simply incorporate Goldee's 90 idea into the design along with some other bespoke configurations I've always wanted in an offset!
This is the 1st in a 3 part series of the build.

They are all really good pits in their own right. They all serve their different purpose in the respect of size etc. The one I'm having built is I bit from all the different pits I have used seen and researched over the year's. We just have to tweek it now 😍 thanks brother 🙏

It's been a long time coming, but it's going to be well worth the wait. Can't beat having it built to the exact spec I'm looking for in a offset.

It’s such a thought provoking process deciding what you want and how best to build your own smoker, and so satisfying when built and your rocking out some nice bbq. Look forward to seeing your finished smoker and first cook 👍👊
That is correct 👌 I'm very lucky to have karl making it for me. In the respect of I'm able to put a lot of input into the building of it. I have done a lot of research over the years and hopefully this multitude of ideas amalgamated into 1 will work well 🙏 so excited to say the least. Thanks blackwatt. 👍

100% it's even jurby from Goldee’s said in a video that it would be interesting to see how it would work with a collector and not the 90 coming out the cook chamber. Someone els pointed it out and he was replying to them but hopefully he will see my videos and check it out.
What diameter 90 did you use and what diameter is the stack? GREAT JOB ON THE DESIGN!!!!!!!!!!!
