I imagine that if that space up north of the docks all the way up to that lighthouse should be turned into Solitude as well to make it even more city like.
Enhanced Solitude is a new mod that merges content from 15 different Solitude mods into one mod. Combine that with The Great City of Solitude (it expands the port) and you have a pretty big Solitude :) Thanks for watching.
Biggest problem that they have is the giant spiders 😂 and other creatures. Such as trolls being in caves, where mining could take place. Fire-mages would be in high demand at the beginning. The beginning of the road construction to connect all the minning caves and towns to roads. For an instance, there is no road from dawnstar to that tower on top of the hill. There is only a path. The vampire cave in whiterun hold, doesn't have a path leading to it. If the vampires were cleared out, white run could use that as a food storage or something else. That cave is a waste of good space. There is no minning going on there. It would be best used for as a food storage area. It's cold, and dark, that's why 🙂
I'm running this with The great cities mod... supposed to be no conflicts what so ever and the cities look epic. Cant wait to get to solitude to check this out. Been busy near falkreath. Smashed some imperials at the dead mans drink who took advantage of a lady friend who lives in the mountains. Mod Rigmor of Bruma. I love the story in that mod. Anyway I'll be making my way up after Riften. I have some business there tonight. The great cities mod includes Solitude and several other cities.
Currently setting up a new load order and am slightly heartbroken that this mod is incompatible with Second Great War otherwise I'd have it installed with no hesitation. EDIT: After a strong mental battle this mod won.
I would love to see epic city expansions like this paired with open cities, being able to sneak over a wall or fly into the center of town is just too fun.
Wow, I love what the great cities series did to the solitude docks but I liked what the 9 holds or whatever it was did with the Solitude entrance. Enhanced Solitude feels like it was made with the Great Citiy of Solitude in mind and created the best overall package. One step closer to really fixing all of Skyrim's cities. Just gotta look for some great Riften and Markarth mods now.
Markarth: try SkyCity by Reindeer51 it works well with jk's markarth compatiblity ver and Dawn of Markarth compatiblity version, both for LE. I believe I had to port them to SE myself, but it is the best overhaul I could find for Markarth. and very little conflict. No real patch required though conflict resolution is always good. Unfortunately, I really couldn't find a great combo for Riften.
Is it just me or within the city of Solitude were there several characters that looked like they were lost? I mean, they were just standing there not doing or going anywhere, like they didn't know what to do.
Absolutely amazing work, I just bought the solitude house for a big chunk of my present fortune and I wanted to really feel like living in the capital of Skyrim
It was fun exploring enhanced solitude, so many stores and additions. My favorite is the bathhouse cuz I have the dirt and blood mod (you can wash yourself with animations). Of all the holds you would think vanilla solitude would also have a nice bath area like whiterun. My main house with family is there and I don't like going to the docks to wash myself.
"Public bathouse" < I love it 🙂 so many great improvements to 1 of my favorite towns in the game 🙂 Solitude does not need a college, honestly. Solitude needs a public school. Solitude would be better if it also started expanding towards the dock/port area.

I have a pretty beefy PC (980ti, i5-6600k) and this mod DEEEESTROOOOYYYYS my framerate in the city walls. Also using ENB and Skyrim HD Textures 1k on Oldrim. Looks beautiful though! Just wish it was useable long term
I am betting that some conflict resolution is what you need. I haven't tried these two mods together, but I had enhanced Solitude Expanded and it worked well. Just swap out Solitude Expanded for The Great City of and it shouldn't have any more impact on performance.

If you play as a vampire. There is a flying mod. You have to land outside of a town, and then you can go in it.

a little upgrade would probably fix your issues 1080ti? Rtx2060 could be enough
