Well by the looks of the new teaser Im thinking the new release will introduce a remake of Episode One. If that's the case then it seems like they are going for a more realistic and more high quality version.
Mike himself said in some twitter post about doing some Interesting stuff with the sb I.p apparently. So it's possible! but Considering he had issues with the original version (because Hes like that), So im not sure whether on it being possible/not

I hope that they remake ep 1 and so we can see what this game could’ve been when we finally get something for this
