Fatalis can't sleep, and is nowhere as soft as bazel.

@@jordanp4987 Fatalis can sleep, and his head has the same sever hitzone value as bazel's red tail. Same enrage damage bonus as well.

Well,we have Frontier,where the DPS was much crazier,but that's not mainline.
for reference that is over 1.5 times the maximum HP bar a monster can have in sunbreak and sunbreak already has the biggest HP bars of any MH game

Because monster hunter is facing a power creep issue.
Hunters are becoming so strong, monsters are having one-hit-kill attacks to keep up with their strengths.
It's not fun to get one hit killed.
MH needs to dial things down drastically and go back to when we can hit and get hit safely.
@@soyUsernameWasTaken I know it feels that way but monsters have been doing crazy almost oneshot damage from the start. Im not denying the newer generations power creep but the real creep is the amount of abilities the hunters have and overall combat speed but neither are bad overall.
@@soyUsernameWasTaken Fatalis, Ukanlos, Akantor etc. have always been able to hit you for 90%+ damage.
And for gunners even Tigrex could 1hko in FU if you didn't have all buffs up or were using one of the max dps builds with Shinobi armor.
It's actually kinda refreshing that Lagombi can fuck you up if you're messing around too much. Instead of only the post-game bosses offering any challenge once you get the stronger gear.

Looking through things... it would depend on the HP modifiers for an anomaly quest, but even then it would be hard to come close to exceeding 370k. Hazard Amatsu has, at most in 4-players, over 100k HP itself, so I don't expect anything to come close to avoid being one-shot if such a damage scenario could actually pop up reasonably.
Also of note, there is legit no monster in the HISTORY of the Mainlnie MH games that has anywhere near that much health as well without modifiers themselves.

But to be fair I wasn't even thinking about anomaly monsters (except risen because these are legit "new" monsters) to make things possible

Rise: ~60k

I have no idea how this got recommended to me since I never played a single Monster Hunter game and I barely understand anything but this was absolutely incredible to watch 😮

... Sooner or later, the record-setting number is going to be so high, the Monster just... liquefies on spot, or becomes skeletonized, or catches fire or something.
This is why I don't like the community *sometimes*, they complained constantly about rampages even though they were really fun and now they aren't in sunbreak and there prolly would have been seething bazel in rampages

That's everything upgrades you have, it doesn't matter which upgrade that you want to raise attack from everything, as long as that it'll raise attack stat, such as Chimes (from Girls x Battle 2) that can boost your base attack stat, Astral Core (from Girls x Battle 2), Mimi's Up Tempo (from Pop'n Music), and others, right?
Edit: And also, you'll deal increase damage depending on the combat Areas that you like, example: Midori Saiba (Blue Archive) likes to fight enemies within Field Warfare, but doesn't like it to fight enemies within Indoor Warfare, but while these Inklings (Splatoon) doesn't like to fight enemies in Underwater Warfare.

This strangely has the same feel of high level MMO raiding where they gotta get all the mechanics right, in the right order, except here it's all for that one hit. All the theory crafting and prep and such, as well as the joy when they got it after 30 hours, felt weirdly familiar.
Would the number have been bigger if he missed the first shot on Mizu and not consume the Frostcraft bar or would it still take a portion for missing?

The fact that it’s more than 5 time greater than base rise really just shows how bananas sunbreak is and I love it… except for the rng😢.

Qurio crafting gets fun again when you realize building the best armor possible with the buffs you get is more fun than trying to copy the min-maxed one in a trillion set someone else theorycrafted.
I learned bow because I got some good Furious rolls and it was a blast.
@@Stroggoii I never try copying sets, but even then, rerolling thousands of times is just boring. I had to roll 8,000 augments just to get furious 1 + 1 slot without losing a skill. I would have preferred getting augmented armor from quest rewards like how relic armor from mh4u. Way more fun completing a quest and getting loot than clicking over and over in a menu. Same thing with charms, melding is lame as hell. In older games you got charms 3 ways. Monster quest rewards, mining and melding. No clue why they made melding the only option. Tedious and boring.
@@CensorShtTube It'd also be easier to balance the RNG if Qurious stuff was like relic armor. Instead of having a mostly unchanging rate of random chance, it becomes as simple as harder quest = higher chance for good rewards.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but would this also be the highest damage number in the series? Rampage damage numbers are ridiculous, and I don't think anything else comes close save for literally hacking.

What is the highest number in regular quests?
You can just remove the x7 multiplier from rampage gong lvl 10.
Which means the highest possible damage number in regular quests is 52 888
This is assuming you can do the exact same setup with mizu + bazel in a quest that doesn't have environmental buffs
(might be possible to go a little higher with envionmental debuffs on mobs tho, this isn't accessible in rampage quests iirc, i don't know by how much it'd increase the damage tho)
it's still impressive that the highest damage in a normal quest in sunbreak is around 5 times larger than in iceborne, and almost the same than in a base rise rampage quest

why not use poison smoke bombs on bazel at any point to guarantee the proc? then youd only have to worry about positioning and critting at that point.
Iirc its not when the status is applied to the monster, its when the weapon proc its status buildup on the monster, so barrel bombs and knifes wouldn't work.

Anyone can tell what armor/layered armor he's wearing during the weapon/skill showcase at the start ? I've barely started playing MHR, and am waiting for friends to finish MHW to keep playing, so I have no clue what that armor could be, but it looks sick af.
Regardless, this is incredible to see how far the damage boosts of MHR can go. Fatty and Safi in MHW would die multiple times over lmao. Will be fun to see if anything similar is doable in MHWilds, tho I doubt it

How many hours do you guys have in Rise/Sunbreak and World/Iceborne? I have about 850 in both, am just curious

370k damage and bazel is still alive XD
I feel like the number was inflated tremendously.. Not by TDS, they did an amazing job getting to that point. But.. They did 350,000 damage to a Bazelguese, and he just went into a Mountable state. By all accounts, that Bazel should have straight-up died. And his tail should have come off. Any cuttable tail comes off after a few thousand points of damage, even at level 300.
I think there are background mechanics that are not being seen regarding the hp pool of the monsters.
Unless there are mechanics in play there that someone can explain?
I'm pretty sure nobody at Capcom did math and said "We need to mechanics stop them from insta-killing our monsters."
I'd love to see how much damage we're *actually* doing to monsters when we hit them, because to me, that huge number doesn't really represent how much damage was *really* dealt.

Its a rampage quest, so you cant cut the tails of support monsters and since strongarm stance is a silk bind it sent bezel into wyvern ride. In rampage getting put into wyvernride has priority over death for the support monsters.
