Honestly If he had done that. I would’ve still given it to him. Simply for the sake of his mental health
Yeah, I agree. I think even in the video it became a little but tedious seeing him do everything all over again and again and again. Still an incredible achievement and good video though.
Congrats on beating this!!! While your playing MHW without taking damage, im constantly playing MHW without dying. Doing a challenge like this automatically makes you one of the best MHW players out there! I havent been able to play MHW in quite some time, but once I get the game from my switch, I hope I can be as good as you.
Big ups to this man, he just used 67 hours of his life, just to entertain us.
Legend
was it all in one day?
@@henryverfurth9845 no because theres only 25 hours in a day
I beat this game in the same amount of time, but without doing any kind of challenge. He has a lot of skill.
@@disu317 “Holy, Didnt know That?!!”
@@disu317 bro your kiding
Yes, through the power of Danny Devito the holy saviour.
Holy cow! I just recently finished the base MHW game, first time playing a game in this series. Took me 70 hours. :) I started with LBG but changed to long sword half way in to try a melee weapon.
Your success with no damage is crazy cool!
How does this dude get the energy and passion for this challenge?! I'd leave after my first try lmao
Starts own run. Killing jagras. *Goes smoothly
Okay I think I got this
Starts great jagras. Small jagras snaps at you dealing chip damage.
Fuck this shit I'm out, this is completely phcking insane. I'm not crazy
I might a sadist that I enjoy every second of this, this looks like what real hunt should be
16:07 right as someone in chat said ‘beware of the flying darty b!tches’ Chris decided at that moment to not be wary of the flying darty b!tches.
“Dodge their attacks! You don’t want to take hits like that head-on!”
*laughs in long sword*

gotta love Twitch Comments
My friends joked about my love for the possibility of status effects and tick damage. With how rapid-fire IG is, that tick damage means a lot more to me than the great swords/hammers/charge blade/switch axe etc. Nice to see how much that poison tick damage actually adds up and not just to sate my "haha numbers go up" habit.

This legit the best content i watched in mhw. The whole thing is such a emotion
rollercoaster. man such same i couldn't watch the stream, what a madlad you are chris.
Little known fact when Zeno goes to the second area you can fast travel back to camp without farcaster, also can’t wait for ice borne addition
The dedication here is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Much respect man. I wish it was possible to add about 2mil likes to this video. This endeavor really deserves it.
Man I loved being part of that stream, it really felt like the community was all playing, not just chris.
9:03 Did he just punch himself to try to stay awake, I didn't know that was a thing
*Carefully, he's a hero.*
Carefully, he's insane
This challenge was insane to watch live. Congrats Chris! Glad I could be there to see it happen!
I want to know, he did took breaks right ?
I know it's dumb to ask but I can't stop imaginning the guy got through this in 1 sitting, I don't know why I guess I'm easily impressed when it's well edited.
ierdan It was over the course of a few weeks. He streams for 4 hours, 6 days a week. He had to quit for about 3 weeks at the beginning because he was having internet connection issues. So, not all at once.
The amount of commitment and personal mental fortitude to accomplish this in a game that LOVES to drop kick you with minor environmental inconveniences is astonishing. To actually commit all the way and accomplish this is quite frankly crazy.
Also using kabuki to follow the nerg constantly to maintain your mantle is such a diabolically hilarious combo that it remains iconic years later
As a father, I want to show my son your efforts to demonstrate how practice, patience, persistence, and planning can payoff in a big way and be rewarding. Failure isn't something to fear but to learn from to keep moving forward. Truly a remarkable achievement you were able to obtain.

someone shares in my suffering? 😭
I never befriended them cause to me they are demons from hell
Currently watching this with a shattered leg. I was playing rise, loved it, and downloaded world and the expansion. Can’t wait to get home and actually play this game, but watching this on my phone in hospital is arguably just as cool.
The fact that he doesn't look like a sweatlord when killing a boss makes my day. The pure joy is enough content from this vid, if you ask me.
him: "and then this happened.."
me: *oh no*
I adore seeing the little "Hi TH-cam!!!" in chat when someone does a feat of gaming like this. Its like the fans waving to those watching when stadiums are filmed.
Damn... the title should have been, "MHW - How to descend to madness.."
Congrats! Also nice editing, didn't skip any second of the near 40min video!
the dedication of this man is just insane
0:49 name the Palico "Donald, cause it's not gonna heal us ever" damn I love that reference
what i want to see next is iceborne no damage
cp 1: barioth
cp 2: repel vekhana (elders recess)
cp 3: slay velkhana
It'll fail in IB many times because most of the time you get dropped in random areas in IB. So if you enter a Hoarfrost or Recess quest. You could get dropped in the snow/lava and take damage.
Idk what's more impressive, that you beat the challenge, or that you managed to compress dozens of hours of content into a half hour video. The dedication is real
So this whole video is “and then this happened, and then I did everything again”
Basically speed running and MH TAZ runs in a nutshell.
This kind of reminds me of the stuff my original MH1 Guild would do lol, we used to have races 1v1 to see who could take down their monster first, my favorite guild activity was Kut-Ku Regen... we used to give an initiate a starter GS, strip them to nothing, and set them loose against a Kut-Ku... while one of us healed the Kut-Ku every 20-30 seconds or so lol.
Ahhhh the good old PS2 days.
That actually sounds pretty damn fun.
Ppl that know how to do charge blade guard points:”I’m five universes ahead of you”
32:20 The game telling him how to evade. The absolute savage.
I’m no TDS member but I did beat low rank without upgrading any of my gear besides adding the defense charm. I’m proud of that but then you guys flawless the whole game.
Flawless the first half of the game lol
Keith oh no I got hit, a lot, but Diablos is the only one where everything’s a oneshot. Imagine the game normally but you don’t have any armor skills, you don’t deal damage, and the monster never flinches or falls over.
I don’t even play monster hunter but this came up in my recommended and just… Jesus christ dude. I’m floored.
ohhhh Booy its here. giving a like just for the work that went into this
Naysuu, congrats 🤩
Can’t believe the hard work that went into this
You deserve my like. Seeing this for the first time even though I'm not a monster hunter this is MARVELOUS. Keep it up
ゲームだと、世界に必ず1人はいるんだよね、こういう天才的なバカ
I find this game infuriating sometimes. There's a lot of moments when you get hit and die with bullshit that is not your fault, the game is design that way. Still, I always knew that with supreme strategy, you can beat most monsters quickly and without getting hit. But certainly, it never crossed my mind that some psycho on the internet would have Zorah Magdaros balls to do such a run.
its always gonna be our fault as bullshit as that may sound xD
@@chiiing8288 not always. There's some stuff you legitimately can't account for and just get rng fucked, like if you happen to be too far from the meteors when behemoth does ecliptic
@@Cloneman-ic9rx i know its cheap to kill hunters with a dps check but you can either pass the check or use the final fantasy jump to dodge it pretty unfair but it can be dodged or prevented
@@Cloneman-ic9rx the game is literally designed to where everything is your fault (𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚)
Hate that I am just now discovering this; this video has now become one of my favorites of all time. Thank you for this amazing video!! 😆 I can’t even imagine how difficult this was 😭
Alatreon: "I'm here to end this man's entire plan."
After that challenge, I would never NEVER touch Monster Hunter World again!
The Shamos horse cry grinds me every time I hear it. I came to the exact same conclusion. I font know what it is about Shamos' cries but they drive me nuts.
You have far more patience than me, dude. I would've honestly been fine with you saving after beating the three Elder Dragons after the initial like 12 times lol. At that point, it's less about doing something you want to accomplish and more about false difficulty and needless grinding. Great job, either way, though! This was insane.
本当にすごい、ノーダメージの記録の中で一番すごい
