I'm just not great at pumping out content consistently because at the end of the day I don't want to build an image of shitting out cartoons that I wouldn't enjoy making or force any ideas that don't come from a genuine place. However, I am working on a big project. Can't say when it will be done, but I can say it will be quite the show.

I personally think it's less about being virtue signaling but more a mix between studio execs being way too prudent and some artists possibly feeling uncomfortable depicting them. Whatever the case, I agree that I think it's pretty lame.

I like the premise here, but I'd make a lot of changes if I was directing. First thing I'd do is get rid of the product placement. Just stick with the carrot. That's part of who Bugs Bunny is: he eats carrots. Making it Ren & Stimpyish... ummm maybe or maybe not. I like the repeating and delaying with "What's up, doc?" And the smacking sounds. That works, for sure. Just having a new way to play around with Elmer Fudd is great.
I would agree with your critiques if I was making a sincere bugs bunny cartoon, but is a parody, not an homage. All rules of what the character would or wouldn't do go out the window when my main intention is to make fun of the source material.

Doritos in the mouth rub me wrong too (ever smelt someones breath after they've eaten Doritos?). I felt there was a battle between humor and non-humor taking place. That's just me though. But if you're really at least continuing to practice your animation skills, by all means you should animate whatever. I envy your skills, for sure.

I am fully aware of how infamous dorito breath can be, that was kind of the point to emphasize how gross bugs bunny's mouth smacking sounds could be. I guess I just don't find real life references to be distracting or off putting if the project is a complete farce like this one, even if I was being paid off by pepsi lol
