Congratulations man you got it I am so proud that you got it that’s one of my favorite Fourseason songs absolutely love the background singers sometimes I just follow them because once you hear it you can’t unhear it One day when I get some audio equipment I would love to isolate the background singers and just play the background track because they switch places with Frankie and sing lead it’s only from a couple bars after the bridge but it’s super cool none the less..
Be sure to tune in tomorrow for the next episode 1941 Buick Special touring sedan

Thank you so much I’m glad you dig this episode I was so nervous about releasing it because of the series 60/series 70 debacle I originally wrote the script as it was a series 70 car but then after looking at pictures of what a series 70 car is it didn’t match up with the pictures that I saw last night but this morning it did look like a series 70 car series 60 Is shorter and has a different grill and slightly different interior than the series 70 but the car in the video looks like it’s a series 60 just has a different grill because the interior is like a series 60 interior plus on top of all of that this is a coach built era where are you could essentially get whatever you want so I just figured I’d leave it the way it is because I like the way that everything flowed in this episode had really nice flow.. and I didn’t want to give that up essentially but yeah the jury is still out I don’t know if it’s a series 60 or a series 70 car it’s advertised as a Fleetwood body and that throws a whole Nother bone into the mix because Cadillac had bodies by Fleetwood but if you type in to google Cadillac Fleetwood from 1936 V12 and the V16 show up not the v8

The sad thing or good thing depending on what perspective you look at if I wait 10 or 15 years I could probably buy any single prewar car that I could ever want because all the people that love those cars are moving on it’s sad that’s why I made this channel because I want I can’t be the only person that likes this stuff.. 1936 Bugatti type 57 just sold a Kissimmee for $577,000 those cars went for millions a couple years ago.. A non Mono block V8 was cast as 2 pieces then welded together to make 1 block. Making a mold to cast a mono block were very costly back then which is why most 8 cylinders were straight 8s. And also why cars then had very long hoods to house the long 8 cyl. engines.

Love the shapes and more utilitarian features like the way the visors work and the hinges on the glove box. Less refined but much refined for the time, I assume.

It’s very futuristic. You can see the influence from Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon. Not sure what came first. The aerospace industry is evident. It is only comparable to the Skoda from this era in terms of slipstream. I never knew about Bugatti losing in depreciation. Leno must have made a loss on his. I love Cadillacs from any era, they are streets ahead of the competition.

Max Motive has a 47 Hudson terraplaine truck I didn’t do a video with it because it’s modified I try to make sure they get cars or trucks is close to original condition as possible I don’t really care so much is the engine I just hate it when people put the stupid small steering wheels and change all of the gauges. Like it’s almost insulting because for instance you see a beautiful Packard car looks absolutely stunning you get up to it and it has a 1985 GM steering wheel column in it which dad isn’t the most attractive steering wheel column anyway it’s pretty hideous.. and when I walk away after seeing that one like why?? Power steering is overrated.. lol

Looks like someone did a restoration of the interior in the late 50s or 60s and did a poor/low cost job, but hey - it was just a used car then. Fleetwood made all the bodies for the 70/75 series, Fisher for the 60/65. The 60 also has a wheelbase 10"s shorter the the 70 and it lost out on the storage space behind the seats. 60 had the smaller V8 also.
