Well done Gary! I like how you added all the other headset microphone tests. That really helps people hear for themselves what sounds best to them, and your final thoughts were spot on.
Hey Gary, this is Ludo from OROSOUND here 🙂 ! Thank you very much for this great review, very appreciated 👍 You are right about a little extra net to store to magnet cap, room for improvement here. Also, have you tested the voice quality on calls using the usb cable connection ? Probably the best on the market ! And btw : we now have our proprietary Dongle, soon available at Headset Advisor 😉 Greetings from Paris, France !
Hey Ludo. Glad to see you guys are listening to the reviews. I was on the fence if I would spend the extra $200. Even though I have Jabra and Yea link products now I’m still very much considering it if I’m not happy with the mic quality.
I think the OBS leveling made all your mics sound better. Every other mic test on the Jabra Evolve2 65 sounds a little worse then yours did. I ended not buying the Evolve2 75s and went with YeaLink BH72 because the mic quality was more consistent. Listening to your review I would buy the Jabra but might be disappointed using it with my direct set with no OBS.
That's an interesting point. I had turned off any leveling in OBS but possibly a setting slipped through, I can double check. In general I've found Jabra to be hit or miss. For a long time it was horrible on Mac and then started to slowly get better with firmware updates.

I haven't yet but will now! Nice work with the headset. It's become the first one I grab when I pack my backpack for traveling.

Great review and nicely summed up at the end.
would love a comparrison with background noise like a busy coffee shop or noisey office enviroment
Good point. I should have included more from working at Starbucks. Part of the intro monologue is from a busy Starbucks
Totally agree, that would be my top1 buying factor: how good a call-oriented headset eliminates undesired noises through the mic.
Hi Gary. Are you able to answer calls directly from the headset?
I think so but will need to double check to confirm
