    Before ordering these I was (and still am) using the Poly Voyager Focus 2. The Poly Voyager Focus 2 is a workhorse and it's mic does an amazing, I mean amazing job at cancelling out background noise. The issue with it, is it just isn't over-ear so noises still seep in despite the ANC. I am currently working from home and I still get distracted by the sound of the my noisy neighbor stomping upstairs, their dog running around, and even the garbage man emptying the dumpster near the back of my apartment.
    That is when I wanted to buy an over-ear headset with ANC and a great mic that cancels out noise really well. Based on all the video reviews of the Orosound Tile Pro C Plus, I thought I found my answer. However, I was wrong. The day I got it in, I tested it wired and Bluetooth. It was horrible at cancelling out noise. I turned music on my phone as loud as it could go and recorded myself via the headset. I could hear a lot of the music it was bad. I tried various different sounds. The ANC was horrible too. I was expecting similar quality of ANC to my Bose QC35... I was sadly mistaken.
    Why can't a company just take the mic quality of the Poly Voyager Focus 2 and the noise cancellation quality of a Bose QC35! It's that simple just take two great things and throw them together.
    As it relates to Headset Advisor, they make returning so easy and so helpful. I wish I could test multiple ones at the same time.

      Sorry to hear the mic noise cancellation wasn’t enough. You may want to consider noise canceling software and you may be able to get the best of both that you’re looking for krisp.ai

    Orosound sounds more full bodied, but Bose wins on mic noise cancelation. Also, arguably, Bose may look a bit more inconspicuous on a videocall. Which can be a good thing.

      Hi Anton, thanks for sharing. We felt the same way in regards to the fit. Keep in mind, on this video when the mic boom was being used, it wasn't placed properly for the best comparison 😭 Check out the mic test of the Tilde Pro review at the link below with the microphone positioned differently and let us know if the results any different to you.

    I was surprised at how well the Bose did without a Mic boom. I like the versatility of the Orosound better.

      Hi Robert, thanks for watching! Both are such nice headsets and you can't go wrong either way, but we agree the versatility of having the option for the mic boom is helpful.

    Absolutely awesome video. This testing in particular switching often to provide a comparison between the ambiance sound and the headset ones is the absolute perfect thing I was looking for.
    To kinda answer your question in the video, I feel the Tilde sound is _slightly_ better (_but_ in a windy environment, which is interesting), but I think I'll go for the Bose given they're less bulky on the head, and I assume the case is smaller for the Bose (for instance: I own a Sennheiser GameZero, and the Bose case is smaller, which is actually surprising given the Sennheiser's ears are /foldable/)
    Thanks for this great work!
    PS: I think one last thing to make this video even better could have been to compare the case sizes. That's an important feat for when you need to travel and put your headset back into some (laptop or not) bag.

    Great review as usual.
    I thought the Bose mic sounded better throughout the Fan challenge. But on the other conditions the Mic boom from Orosound felt more natural... Does the Orosound comes with a dongle to connect to the pc? Or is it just BT?
    David will you do a showdown between the Orosound and the Evolve2 85?
    We need a new wireless headset comparision video :D.

      Hi Caio, thanks for sharing your thoughts! This doesn't come with a Bluetooth dongle yet, but for those who need a dongle the Epos BTD 800 works well headsetadvisor.com/products/epos-btd-800-usb-pc-dongle-1000227
      The Tilde Pro and Evolve2 85 comparison is in the works, stay tuned!

    Got this video as a recommendation while I was watching various mic tests videos of headsets. I saw some of your other videos too and they are very well detailed and explained. I am wondering if you guys can do a line up of budget friendly (low priced) headsets that have good noise cancellation. would appreciate if you could add Airsound M97 single side headset to it. Thanks

    Is that Tilde boom bendable/adjustable? it seemed to be far from his cheek/corner of mouth in the video. I like to wear them closer so i don't see it as much in the corner of my eye...if that makes sense.

    • @HeadsetAdvisor
      @HeadsetAdvisor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Dave, that was one mistake we made in this video is not bending the mic in the correct position 😥 so to answer your question, yes the microphone is extremely bendable. You can also see the full review video of the Tilde Pro here th-cam.com/video/WKT_F75TtCc/w-d-xo.html

      @@HeadsetAdvisor I just purchased the Orosound Tilde Pro C Plus over the ear headset to replace my Jabra Evolve2 85 that died after 3years of heavy use. I initially purchased a 2nd Jabra headset to replace the one that died but was told by my IT department that our company PCs don’t support Jabra wireless products anymore. After some research, I decided on the your Orosound as it seemed to tick all the boxes of what the Jabra Evolve2 85 does. I work from home as a dispatcher for a national trash & recycling company. I just got the Orosound Friday so I’ll be using it for the first time Monday..it looks and sounds great but am still unclear if I’ll be able to answer my incoming calls from the headset. I’ll be connecting the headset to a company owned PC running the most current windows program and the Fuze app. Your help is appreciated. Thanks!

    I feel personally attacked by these comparisons of the Tilde with two headsets I... currently... own. From personal experience, the Bose's comfort wore out quickly, along with the adhesive gluing the cushion into place.
    Can the Tilde Pro do USB-C to USB-C and plug into mobile devices? Also, might it be possible to use different boom mics on the Tilde?
    Also also, how come nobody is noise testing the wired connection?
    Thanks for all y'all do!

    • @HeadsetAdvisor
      @HeadsetAdvisor  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to hear the comfort wore out! The Tilde Pro can be used with USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to 3.5mm cord. Also, There's only one mic boom available.

    Guys, does anyone know any alternatives to the AfterShokz OpenComm ?
    - Need to have boom mic
    - Need on both years
    - It should be out of sight like the opencomm one
    - it’s okay if it isn’t bone conduction
    Does anyone know anything similar ?

    They don't know what they are talking about. The Bose 700 UC are renowned in the audio community for their outstanding ANC and Call quality, especially in noisy and windy conditions with a very natural microphone sound. They are so good Bose even made a special edition for office use. Their own tests here actually showed that that the mic noise cancelling of the Orosound is infererior (e.g. dog barking still very noticeable, while it was gone on the Bose). I guess they don't really care and just concluded the Orosound must be better because it's a dedicated headset, so it must be better.

    • @HeadsetAdvisor
      @HeadsetAdvisor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I kindly disagree with you. Never did we say the Bose 700 UC is a bad headset. It's a very good pair of headphones but it's lacking the ability to be used as a wired headset and doesn't have a mic boom. So, naturally any headset without a mic boom won't sound as good then one that does. The Bose 700 UC also doesn't give you the ability to further customize the headset from switching to on-ear or over-ear speakers. All that being said, the Bose 700 UC is a great pair of headphones and is widely used by many people. Even without a mic boom it still does very well in the mic quality and noise cancellation.
      Depending on your personal preferences and requirements will determine which headset you'd go with, but either way you go is a good decision.
