MCRD San Diego Kilo Company Graduation - 05/10/2024

The new Marines of Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, May 10, 2024. Graduation took place at the completion of the 13-week transformation which included training for drill, marksmanship, basic combat skills, and Marines Corps customs and traditions. Following graduation, the Marines were given 10 days of leave before taking the next step in training at the School of Infantry at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. As a Boot in 1969, MCRD San Diego, was serious, for us all. We deployed to WestPac, All gave some, Some gave all.

I remember my day on this field. August 1961 Platoon 159, I won't ever forget it....(mos 0341) I grew up in a boys home, The Marine Corps made me a lot of what I am today. Thank You !
