It really is a great show and worthy of all the awards. The first season is the slowest because they took time to really build the characters, that's one of the things that makes it so good. It's not just a comedy, it's really heartfelt too.
This show is hilarious! It is like wine, it ages so well

The first season is good, but it can feel a little small and slow because they're always in the motel. But at season 2 it really picks up and it's a million laughs a minute. Also, you start getting many episodes that make you cry happy tears. It's worth watching for sure!!
i'm honestly already enjoying it, even with the smaller set/feeling. it's definitely fun 😋 can't wait to get more into it and see what it's all about in later seasons!!

david is my favorite but also alexis! her character growth is unmatched. i love them all though.
schitts creek takes a few episodes to get into its groove, but once it does, you'll never want to leave

God, this show is so good! I didn't think I would like it in the beginning, but I ended up loving it and bawling my eyes out over the series finale 😭 I really hope you stick with it and keep reacting to it! Also, my favorite characters are David, Alexis, and Moira! I absolutely love their extra-ness 😅
it definitely wasn't what i thought it'd be but i was pleasantly surprised!!😋 i can already tell i'm in for a fun ride with these characters 😭 i loveeee david as well he was hilarious 😂 and i think i'll def be doing some more videos throughout the series!!

My favourite character is Patrick. You haven't met him yet, but he is an angel and I love him.
fun fact the father and son in the show are father and son in real life they both created this show. (the girl in the cafe Twyla is the sister/daughter in real life)

Glad to see more people starting to react to it! It’s one of my favorite shows, and David is definitely my favorite character.
You pretty much nailed the show tbh. It’s very mindless comedy sometimes, but also it’s a genuinely touching show and the characters grow SO much over the course of the show.

My fave show!! My fave character is probably Alexis! Her journey is so outstanding and her growth is so paced and beautiful to watch. Yes, its a comedy but it's really about the power of love and family when everything else is stripped away. And it gets better and better as the series goes on - there's a reason why the last season won so many Emmy's. Keep filming you reactions plz I haven't seen someone reacting to schitts yet!

The kids in the background are laughing because the characters are laughing...not because the actors are breaking.
The best thing about this show is that you cant choose a favorite because every character is amazing. The writing is impeccable.
Hotels have the room doors on the inside of the building while motel room doors open up to the outdoors (so you can be parked directly outside your motel door).
The character development is *chef’s kiss*

I just finished this show. Watched Best Wishes, Warmest Regards. I cannot even begin to express how beautiful this show was.
When I finished it I went back to the first episode and it was crazy to me how much the characters had changed over time.
This is one of my comfort shows.
The father and son and the waitress are actually family. The son and the father in real life wrote the show.

I swear, if you ever compare this to The Office again I will REPORT YOU!! As a long-time Office fan, Schitt's Creek is in a league of it's own and far surpasses any comedy that's ever been on television. I promise, this will be your new comfort show. My recommendation - stop talking through the show. Pause it when you want to talk. You legitimately talked through SO many funny one-liners and explanations to your questions.
(obviously that first part was a joke! everything else I am 100% serious)

Love Schitt's Creek when it came. The brother ( Dan Levy) and the father (Eugene Levy) are the creators and Dan is the show runnee. You probably know all this by now. Anyway how thrilled was I when I saw my favorite 'TH-cam show critic' (You) do a commentary on Schitt's Creek! Epic!!

The show was created and Executive produce by Dan Levy Eugene Levy and Dan is one of the writers and directors of the show. Dan Levy came up with the concept of the show while watching reality television. Dan said to Out.com, "I had been watching some reality TV at the time and was concentrating on what would happen if one of these wealthy families would lose everything. Would the Kardashians still be the Kardashians without their money?"

Ok I tried watching this but couldn't make it 5 mins....I know it's A reaction but it helps to listen and you will know what's going on. It's a brilliant show but you have to listen to the little quirks of it instead of taking /commenting every sentence they do. Sorry.

The show just gets better and better. It's at bit annoying in the beginning, but as the characters grow it becomes really good. My favorite characters from the beginning were David and Stevie and I love Patrick (who comes later).

Sure you've already been Inundated with this at this point, but Dan Levy (who plays David) is not only Eugene Levy's real-life son and is the co-creator along with his dad, but Dan was the showrunner too :)
Oh and also, "Twyla" is played by Sara Levy... legit the only member of the Levy family that isn't in the show is the mom xD :)
