- Sooo I may have binged this whole show in 3 days, also I've decided these two are basically my split personalities. I want to make an Alexis Ted one too but I can't seem to find their clips so that's probably not happening but enjoy this one!!!

Noah Reid (Patrick) conveys so much with his eyes, without saying anything. Exasperation and amusement, sarcasm and love at the same time… Dan Levy’s defensive, neurotic and fragile David is also spot on! Great acting from both actors!

what i love about them and their relationship was Patrick is not sexualized or muscular looking in the show unlike any other gay couple. they are both sexy and good looking without having a topless scenes or showing off their body and i love that for them.

right! I don't think it's bad to show that but I think a lot of people sexualize gay couples so it's nice that people didn't really have the opppurtunity to do that here.
I love Noah Reid's demeanor as Patrick. Reminds me a bit of my first crush ever in junior high.
He comes off as very softly secure and comfortable in his skin (a perfect opposite to David's insecure neurosis), with just the smallest hint of vulnerable persona.
He is physically very attractive and his personality just complements that perfectly. Patrick is the perfect type of guy a David type guy needs in his life as a friend and loving partner/boyfriend/husband.
David’s hiking sweater makes me think he would be sweating like crazy, these two are so sweet. They went through a lot of things that relationships do, David is brave and for the most part puts himself out there, Patrick is such a solid foundation. What a wonderful portrayal of a loving couple working through problems and communicating. A lot of people don’t communicate well at all.
The proposal scene was so beautifully written, this show was so good.
Crying watching this wondering if someone will ever love me and my flaws as much as Patrick loves David 😪

They won’t. A team of 18 writers wrote this couple, most of them very intelligent women with creative ideas towards ideal romance. None of us will experience this. This is idealism.

I started the show being turned off by the name. Silly I thought. But I watched. The more I watched the more I fell in love with all the characters. But Patrick and David’s love story was the emotional core of this wonderfully hilarious written show. Turned out to be my favorite show ever. And Patrick and David’s love story was one of the best ever written for tv. Love has no boundaries. Whether it’s straight or gay. Love IS LOVE!
I love how this relationship was played out to be 'normal'. Before anyone jumps all over me what I mean by that is, no humans were injured in the making of this relationship. I hope at least some haters watched and realized this. I hope at least some haters realized maybe, just maybe, they are the problem. Look how beautiful it is when there is no hate.
Everyone around David and Patrick was ok with their love. No one threw a rock through the store front window. Patrick's parents loved their son unconditionally.
This is how the world is supposed to be. Maybe the world will be like this some day when all the haters realize that love, compassion, acceptance and live and let live, is the meaning of life.
The 40 seconds segment in this video from 8:15 and 8:55 where you intertwined the scenes of Patrick/David and Moira/David was so beautifully done. And when Moira says "He sees you for all that you are" ... 😭😭
I fully forgot how much I freaking love those two together! The chemistry is amazing and they really allowed the relationship to realistically develop

Patrick is so adorable I’m so happy David found someone to love. I honestly wished we could’ve gotten just 1 more season because I wanted to see the newlyweds in their new home. This show made me LAUGH & CRY at times. I guess I will just have to keep watching it OVER & OVER😁

I wish they would create another series about their lives now in Schitt's Ceek. I can see Patrick running for Mayor and winning while David opens a new art gallery. David's and Patrick vacation in NYC and meet some of David's old friends. There is so much potential.

I loved this show. Watched over and over until they no longer play it anymore. To think early on it was an early cancelation program. That would have been a terrible loss. Both actors insanely talented. I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to them. The rest of the cast was superb as well.

An archetypal gay man meets an archetypal straight guy. Both have supportive families, can understand and look past the other's flaws, and fall deeply in love with one another. Talk about a gay dream come true.
David isn't actually gay if I remember correctly from earlier episodes he implies to stevie that he's pansexual after they sleep together
Patrick is not an “archetypal straight guy”. He literally IS gay. Just because he doesn’t fit an stereotype, doesn’t mean he got “turned” or anything. Same for David. He’s canonically pansexual. You made some really poor choices wording your comment and it comes off really weird
David is pansexual. It's explained explicitly on the show that he likes all genders. Some people assume he's gay because he's a bit femme, but that's subverted as early as season 1.
And Patrick is gay. He found out in his 30s, but his failed attempts at dating (and even marrying) women in the past don't make him straight.
living with a archetypal hetero guy is a archetypal gay nightmare if gay is a capable and mentally healthy. they have nothing in common, it's the worst way of living.
i am not much of a tv viewer, but i to get to know a bit about these story lines in a fragmented way. So, i must say that these whole story arch (ark?) videos are a pleasure to have available to fill in the huge gaps in my knowledge of what goes on. Thanks.
