Same!! Loved this thank u’!! We definitly have the same texture. Live the Moroccan oil too. It smells sooooo good! Been struggling growing out this damn pixie don’t really know how to define the awkward phase Much love honey!
This girl knows what she’s doing. Bought myself a silicone scalp massager brush, an the little key chain thing for the pony tail is genius , won’t dent the curls.
Thanks so much for this! My little girl has the same hair as yours and we are currently just using shea moisture smoothie to manage it. Will def try this technique!
I've been doing the technique you used here with brushing the hair to make the curls larger while it is wet, it works! I learned a few tips from you. I haven't tried adding the product to my hair and am currently using a wet brush not a denman brush. I have been using Design Line shampoo and conditioner (Enchanted midnight) for years but they are running low on stock and have been searching for a new product. I also have been using Kerastase Argan oil that I add in after I've coiled my hair with brush while it's wet. I let it air dry while I sleep and I wake up with bouncy shiny curls. Not having these product is throwing a monkey wrench in my routine and my hair is showing it. Also, the Argan oil I use is $51 and I was looking for a more affordable brand. For styling I have jumped several products as I haven't found one that I'm in love with, so I will definitely try your suggestion. My son also has curly hair & now the that cost has risen due to him needing the same products as I do. Looking for something more affordable. I've tried the Cantu products and they seem to heavy for my 3a-3c curls. I'm not sure what the porosity of my hair is. Question: What porosity is your hair? Do these products leave your hair crunchy? Also, your hair is beautiful!
I love the routine and the "denman shake", I have similar hair and am going to definitely try. Personally can’t tolerate the smell of the she moisture. Really wish I could because I love the results.
😍💅🏽 wonderful! Thank you. Would love to see your curly hair journey, I have 3b/a hair as well but it’s looking more 3a these days after not knowing how to treat my curls/ years of heat damage. I cut it all off but I feel that they are still not at their fullest, so yess seeing that would be awesome thank you luv.
I tried this technique today and it definitely helped with volume and definition - thank you! My curls aren’t nearly as voluminous or defined as yours but this has kept me from getting the dreaded triangle shape that my hair wants to achieve 😅
My hair is much shorter than yours but I’m going to try this! I’ve been doing the finger curls to frame my face and I love them but this look really looks like a great technique! I have most of these products too I just need to get a brush that is similar! ❤️❤️
Oh my gosh. Yes yes yes make a video on your curly hair journey. I think my hair will look like yours when i am done with my recovering of my curls. So cute. Ml katrin
Even though I’m a dude, I’ve been trying for almost half a year to find an alternative because I was tired of finger coiling my hair since I had 3a/3b, so it was a hassle redoing them every 2 weeks. I always wanted to try just going with my natural curls but all the tutorials were ppl with type 4 hair or they just didn’t explain it well. Thank u so much. (Also what did you do to make your hair healthier?)
Hello! I really love this cut! I’ve been looking to get my hair done like this. I was wondering if there was a specific thing to tell my hair dresser in order to achieve this look.
Hey, does anyone have any advice for curly hair that’s been overthinned? Went to a new stylist, and let her use thinning shears. Lost all my volume and wondered if anyone would know how long it takes to grow out after :’)
Is it better to detangle out of the shower?? I’m confused cus i usually detangle with conditioner in my hair never like this I’m going to try these techniques this girl is genius .
I’ve never done my hair right so this video really helped me! I was wondering what the argon oil does for your hair. I’ve tried using oils before but I hate how oily it makes it feel, but I was probably doing it wrong.
Beautiful 😍 I have my curly hair at this length and is the same texture. Do you diffuse it on cold or warm? How do you protect the style at night if you do?
Hey so we have the same hair type and I'm really interested in your video and I have all the products you used except the hand shaped uhh hair dryer...urm sorry I don't know how to call it but does it not work if I just let it dry naturally?
you dont , it stays in your hair unfil the next wash day . its called gel because it locks your curls in place , but it isnt necessarily like the gel you may be thinking of . it doesnt make ur hair flake or get hard
The one thing I noticed about your routine is that you twist your hair at the top and this isn’t me bashing or like trying to be rude but that could cause a lot of breakage and you should be very careful since it gives the same effect as putting your hair in a bun which causes a lot of breakage! Your video was extremely helpful and I hope you have a great day!
Hey i know you dont know me and you might not respond to me but i have hair just like yall but i need help taking care of it and need to know some of the products yall use so i can buy them please and thanks. I am 16 years old and my name is Angel.
If you have to use curlers to curl your hair then your hair isn't curly, or it could be your hair is more wavy than curly, if your hair was naturally 3b you wouldn't need to use curlers to get the curls, if I didn't use any product in my daughters hair her hair would still have curls, they just wouldn't look as good and would get frizzy very very quickly, so if you need curlers to get the curls like the girl in the video, then sorry but your hair is not naturally curly as naturally curly hair will still curl even without products or manipulation
This rlly helped me, but I also have two questions. How do you brush your hair in the shower and what do you do so your curls stay overnight? Do you put them up, if yes how or do you leave them open or you use a satin bonnet, silk ect.?

I would just like to add that after some more research I definitely have 3a/3b sorry for the confusion!!
I feel like it is mainly 3b, cause your curls are kinda tight and small
Same!! Loved this thank u’!! We definitly have the same texture. Live the Moroccan oil too. It smells sooooo good! Been struggling growing out this damn pixie don’t really know how to define the awkward phase
Much love honey!
@@anninaannese9365 nah I have 3b it’s a little tighter
She was definitely ON POINT saying 3a/3b
Mix of both
@@Kaoknowsalot 3a is exactly her pattern 3b is a little bit tighter because 3c is really tiny but still is obviously defined.
This girl knows what she’s doing. Bought myself a silicone scalp massager brush, an the little key chain thing for the pony tail is genius , won’t dent the curls.
Your hair cut shape is so cute. It fits you so well!
THOSE CURLS AREEE POPIINNN! OMGG
I’m going to try and achieve this same look
Thanks so much for this! My little girl has the same hair as yours and we are currently just using shea moisture smoothie to manage it. Will def try this technique!

I love the routine and the "denman shake", I have similar hair and am going to definitely try. Personally can’t tolerate the smell of the she moisture. Really wish I could because I love the results.
it smells like play dough to me but they have different products that smell better
😍💅🏽 wonderful! Thank you. Would love to see your curly hair journey, I have 3b/a hair as well but it’s looking more 3a these days after not knowing how to treat my curls/ years of heat damage. Beautiful curls. :) Thanks for sharing your routine.
Can anyone tell me the exact name of her cut? I've been trying to find out the name for a long time. But no one can tell me 😔
Thanks. I have curls, think type 3a 0r b...maybe a combination. It broke last year because of coloring. Would like some tips to repair.
OH MY GOD IM TRYING THIS RIGHT NOW.
you really flexed on me with the shake at the end
Even though I’m a dude, I’ve been trying for almost half a year to find an alternative because I was tired of finger coiling my hair since I had 3a/3b, so it was a hassle redoing them every 2 weeks. Hello! I really love this cut! I’ve been looking to get my hair done like this. I was wondering if there was a specific thing to tell my hair dresser in order to achieve this look.
We call it Layers hair cut in SA
Youre Mad pretty!! Hair and face! 💜💖💜 thank you for the tips
Curly hair for the win 💯👌😍
those curls are gorgeous!!! i grew mine out and was expecting that result! Does humidity affect your curls drastically?
Yes I wld love to see the curly hair journey
Super pretty curls. How many days a week do you wash them?
I'm new to your channel, love your hair. My hair is also curly, but I think is 3b 3c.
lovely hair, you should make more videos about caring about your hair
love your hair! How do you manage it the 2nd day once u wake up? Thx
can you make a vid on how you refresh your curls?
My daughter has the exact same hair as you! I’m looking for a good gel to slick it back into a bun ..
I’ve always wanted my hair cut to look like yours but I never know that to tell my hairstylist. What do you normally tell yours
Hey, does anyone have any advice for curly hair that’s been overthinned? Went to a new stylist, and let her use thinning shears. Lost all my volume and wondered if anyone would know how long it takes to grow out after :’)

You use oil to seal in the moisture you’ve just applied x
Yes!! Typically the ends of your hair are the most delicate, so the less dry/brittle they are the better. This will help minimize breakage.
Beautiful curls 😍😍😍
Beautiful 😍 I have my curly hair at this length and is the same texture. Do you diffuse it on cold or warm? How do you protect the style at night if you do?
I love your hair! What type of haircut would I ask for to get your cut????
im pretty sure its a layered cut idk . i have the same hair type and cut , i just showed my stylist a picture and she did it !
Which Denman brush are you using? My curls seem to be almost the same as yours- does this brush really help as much as it looks!??
Damn that Dennen brush really
Makes a huge difference ay
thank you!!! super informative and helpful and straightforward :))
I tried this and I love it 😍🥰
Question💕✨
Do you diffuse your hair until it is all fully dry?
We need tutorial for your haircut 😳😳😳😳😳it’s sooo beautiful
Hey so we have the same hair type and I'm really interested in your video and I have all the products you used except the hand shaped uhh hair dryer...urm sorry I don't know how to call it but does it not work if I just let it dry naturally?
What is your haircut called? I really like it
From head to toe you are so naturally beautiful
Can’t wait to grow out my lady like hair
I might be a guy, but this routine still worked. Thanks bro
If I had gorgeous, perfect curls like yours ♥️ I’d be a Curly Girl Everyday but mine goes that step beyond to Brillo-FRIZZ once it’s fully dry 😢
Are you supposed to do this everyday and how do you get the gel out??
you dont , it stays in your hair unfil the next wash day . its called gel because it locks your curls in place , but it isnt necessarily like the gel you may be thinking of . it doesnt make ur hair flake or get hard
@@ashleyfreitas-goncalves7993 ty !! I was rlly confused
We have the same hair it’s looks so good I can’t imagine doing all this tho 😂 probably why my hair looks like ass compared to yours
beautiful hair omg
Wait so is this vid what u do in the shower ? Or after ?
How often do you wash your hair?
Is it a layered bob haircut you have?
Yessss would love to hear your hair journey, I'm starting mine so I could use some tips please
Ok ima try this cause our hair the same length lbs
Thank you!!
How often do u wash and co wash ur hair. How often do u do this routine?
The one thing I noticed about your routine is that you twist your hair at the top and this isn’t me bashing or like trying to be rude but that could cause a lot of breakage and you should be very careful since it gives the same effect as putting your hair in a bun which causes a lot of breakage! Hey i know you dont know me and you might not respond to me but i have hair just like yall but i need help taking care of it and need to know some of the products yall use so i can buy them please and thanks. I am 16 years old and my name is Angel.
Do you hage taurus placements?
I might do how you do it
Mother of curls...
do you have layers???
What is your hair cut?
we literally have the same hair, but i cut mine from home so they’re cut very badly into a box-afro shape:( how did you cut yours?
I cut my hair like 3/4 years ago and my hair was in a triangle 😃😭👍 my mom cut it with kitchen scissors ✂️
No don't cut your own hair unless your a professional 😂
Would love to see your journey
can i see makayla curly hair wash routine
It looks like your curls might be more 3A 3B
I did all the steps but I couldn't get curly hair so sad
Whoever cuts your hair knows what they are doing. That shape!
So if my hair just brushes flat with no girls am I not a 3b? I literally have to use curlers!
How long does this last for?
This rlly helped me, but I also have two questions. How do you brush your hair in the shower and what do you do so your curls stay overnight? Do you put them up, if yes how or do you leave them open or you use a satin bonnet, silk ect.?
She answers all three of these questions in a row starting at 1:07
