Another amazing episode Cozy! Thank you for all that you do for the Marvel Snap community! And thank you to everyone out there who watches and supports our content
Cozy and Alex, you provide great information and are entertaining throughout the entire show. Thanks for putting together such quality content. You've kept me going in Snap when I've felt frustrated to the point of dropping it into the bowels of Death's Domain.
Move archetype needs a card to move everything to the right, a card to move your next play one space to the right (think Iron Fist), and a series 5 card that moves ONE card two locations in one turn.
I think with the power of turn 6 plays and the fact that you can't really do anything other than Heimdall, I would buff it by making it say, "Move your other cards away from this one." So if you play Heimdall right, it moves things left. If you play it left, it moves things right. If you play it mid, it will sort of randomly Juggernaut the rest of your mid lane cards, if possible.
Too much flexibility imo, unless he takes a hit to his stats to make up for it. As is, opponents can't play around 2 directions. Him throwing everything to the left allows enemies to play with that in mind. He's a very dangerous card believe it or not, it's why they need to be careful buffing him, so such a suggestion like yours would work more as a rework than a straight buff.
Move needs more cards that can move stuff right, not a full Heimdall but like an Iron Fist that goes right for 3-4 mana. Or a card like a reverse Cloak where you can move a card away from a lane.
Heimdall can "fix" move with a "Pulls cards toward the location he's played." addendum. If he can drag left, center, or right, it adds a bit so that your final play isn't completely telegraphed.
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever left a comment on a TH-cam video before, but I just had to say… Truly love the content from this channel. The SnapChat is easily one of my favorite things to listen to every week. Huge fan of the game, been playing since the official launch more or less. Got at least 1 friend into the game and it’s a blast. Love coming here and to Alex’s channel as well. Would also like to get Involved in some games with the community! Thanks for being so consistent and giving us all some great content 👏🏼
there should be a move card that is 'On Reveal: move all your cards here to random locations'. Kinda like the strange academy location but for you side only
Definitely the best part of Snap content for the week Shooting the shit on Snap, nothing serious, just enjoyment of the game. I think you guys trailblazed the Snap podcast too (idk). So many other ones that are fine, but not THE Snap podcast.
Talking about Kilmonger, I think the reason to play him early is being worried about leech (especially against Thanos). T4 is the last turn to safely play him against Thanos trying to dodge leech coming out of the lockjaw casino. Definitely something I keep in mind.
Even worse though is if the Thanos player plays quinjet even if you play killmomger on 3, they can still play Lockjaw and 3 stones and hit the leech off the casino.
I have to say there is one card that absolutely suprised me was when my opponent went to play a 5 cost and kicked it with iron fist at the end to put him in a lane we both couldnt play in and it was so good
Great video! Move decks are actually in a great place, just hit Infinite with a pure move deck (no hybrid tech). The only thing that made ranking difficult with move was the crazy amount of Leeches out there. But, top decking a Heimdall after a Leech is the easiest 8 cubes you'll ever make.
Sunspot being in 50% of decks actually means it’s almost in every game. Lol I’m surprised they haven’t moved it to 1-0. It makes sense for tech cards to be most played, but sunapot isn’t a tech card. Hopefully they do need it to bring more value to the other 1 cost cards.
Idk if it would be too strong but heimdall at 5, play on 5 move right play on 6 move left? his statline would be in line with some other 5 cost cards but maybe the effect too strong? I really like the idea of him being more adaptable though
For Human Torch, how about something like "Whenever this card moves, set its cost to 2 for the next turn", so as long as you keep him moving, he can't be Killongered - very thematic, like he's dodging and weaving but as soon as he stops, he's a target.
The thing I use is magik on turn 5, Wong on turn 6 and either white tiger, ironheart, or a card like gambit if I get it through one of the locations since I don’t have gambit.
Really like playing leader in sandman, he's fun to run with daredevil and throwing ebony maw in right lane. Leader and Klaw help control power in the right lane if need be, sometimes steals some cubes since they get cocky.
I think Heim can be lower power (maybe 5?) but move cards away from itself. If it drops left lane, moves right. Drops right lane, moves left. Drops middle, will move mid lane cards to sides randomly.
What about some ongoing move cards? Something that moves like vision but has some support effect in the lane it moves to. E.g., 5 cost 3 power, can move every turn, ongoing other hards in the lane get +2 power. E.g., 4 cost 3 power, ongoing whenever you play a card here, +1 power to this card and move this card to another random lane Im sure you'd have to tweak the numbers, but a card with that design idea could boost both ongoing and move decks.
I was thinking along the same lines in move, only instead of a card that moves everything to the right, what if we made a card that had the ability like Stange Academy (except for the card played)? The debate would be should it just affect your cards or both? For fun, if it were both i would nominate Loki as the character for the card.
Last season I played a Modok/Hela Deck till infinity and it was very concistent😁. Yesterday I had hit infinite with Death Wave. 90% of the Matches against shuri and Thanos. BTW every week I‘m so excited to listen up to you guys here in the snapchat. Greets from germany folks😄.
ON REVEAL: Move your other cards one location to the left OR right. Drop him to a 6:7 and update the ability to the above. This would allow you to strategically play him far left or far right and shift all cards one right or one left, as a result. Or you can place middle, and it just RNG pushes all cards away from him. This adds an even greater surprise effect to his decks, with enough power for him to still possibly take his lane, if played right, also Shang-Chi proof from +1 location or ongoing buffs.
A little too powerful I think. It'll make all the games feel like 50/50 decisions-- for both players. You plan your deck, play your cards strategically, and your win comes down to whether you pick left or right (again, for both players).
@@virtuabutch How is that different than any other round 6 decision. I have confidence in middle but losing in left, right, or both, so have to choose where to drop my Aero? If power is a concern, then nerf the power. Drop to 6:6 so pushing out of the lane may be less likely to win it. I think leaving higher to allow for a shang chi with +1 buffs is a better idea though.
Well I have an idea about Orka. It´s not the best but would be a okayish fit for a move deck when you miss Aero or Heimdall. What about turn 4 Cloak, turn 5 clear a location, turn 6 Orka? Freddy would be a nice guest =)
Hawkeye and Abomination have higher use percentages because they're pool 1 cards, so they're used a TON early on, enough to bump the overall numbers up so they're above the pool 3/4/5 cards that are bad or people just flat out don't use
Just hit 90 with a move archetype deck and it is by far my favorite. I also saw kingpin in a deck for the first time every today and will guess him being one of the lowest because why not.
I don’t fully agree with a Heimdall equivalent that moves right, but maybe a small one would be nice, like Iron Fist. Iron Fist and Heimdall both moving left seems a little limiting
My guess is that the most played card is probably Shang Chi. My second guess is probably Cosmo. There's just a lot going for them and they're easy to slot into a deck. I'll resume the video and see if I was right.
I love move but helmdall is fine just moving left because if you don't move thats sometimes as suprising as when you do. Probably move could do with some buffs though
I think it would be a fairly simple change. They should def fix sorting when looking for cards by adding key words, easiest example of this is when you filter by "move" it includes "remove" and cyclops lol. It makes it so when you search move it is deceptive that there are more options than there really are.
I included Elektra in my Shuri/Red Skull/Task Master deck and she's my favorite addition to the deck! I didn't have space for another 3 energy cost card (Killmonger), Elektra is great at shutting down early Sunspots and Quinjet before they are out of control!
Talking about how we need another move sub for heimdall to move stuff right, check the leaked Annihilus card. If that card comes out as it is in the leaked version it’ll be CRAZY. I love Annihilus as a character in the comics so seeing a card of him that is actually game changing would be pretty great
Ooooowwww this would be dangerous af but for move decks but what about an ongoing card that randomly moves a card left or right when played at that location. It would buff move but would still require some forethought. Thoughts ?
I absolutely love the changes to ranked. I don’t have a ton of time to play because I work 9-10hr a day 6 days a a week. Being able to climb by playing smart has allowed me to climb then play a few experimental or fun decks and not losing a ton of ranks by losing a few games.
Do Heimdall like Thor? but more like you start with the sword in your hand and him in your deck, like a 1/0 cost or a 0/0. The sword allows you to move this locations cards to the right and Heimdall keeps the exact same abilities for turn 6. Still predictable but can double the move power ups on a few cards.
I’ve been playing an Orka deck that doesn’t do horrible: -Nightcrawler -Daredevil -Armor -Green Goblin -Mister Fantastic -Hulk Buster -Polaris -Shuri -Namor -Hobgoblin -Klaw -Orka Armor is more for tech and could easily be replaced by, almost, anything.
What about a 5/5 that moves all of your other cards at this location to right *Also what if they made when quake shuffle the locations count as cards moving
Great episode as always. I feel like discard should become more targeted in order to become more competitive, especially since they’ve just released two direct counters to the archetype in Stature and Master Mold (countering Coleen).
I’m a Move lover and all we need is a big cost card that moves everything to the right or a low cost maybe 2/1 that ongoing that moves I spot to the right every turn and gains +1 or 2 and Move becomes the Meta
I think an interesting change that would shake up a lot of things would be. Hulk buster should save the card it's attached to from being destroyed. You could get it on your human torch or your sunspot and killmonger would only remove the 4 power. Or you could put it on your 30 power redskull and he's no longer shangchiable
Ancient One. 4/4 Ongoing: Cards that moved this turn cannot be destroyed. A card gains protection if you move it. If the card is not moved, the protection disappears. Reappears when the card is moved again. Helps move cards like human torch and vulture. Zabu can be integrated in move decks. Can be countered by enchantress or just exhaust all the movement options before you killmonger or shang-chi.
Love the content guys. 🔥🔥🔥 By the way, I’m not sure if you’re aware but her name is Kitty Pryde not Kitty Hawk. Haha Also, if someone has a problem with you showcasing new cards? It’s their problem, not yours. We love that content over here. 💯💯💯
I had Galactus pinned, unpinned him, then heard they were making changes to the token shop so I went back and re-pinned him just in case. It’s going to take so long to save up 6k tokens.
Feel like move definitely needs another big move card in the style of Vulture or Heimdall, another win condition type card. A card even that moves a card in this lane to a random lane. Or one that moves two cards in this lane to each other lane. Ongoing is just in a wonky place. Whike I was in pool 2, Ongoing was my love. First deck I felt confident with to get wins. Now I play it and I'm just sorta like eh. Well that didn't work. Iron Man and Onslaught combo will win more than a few games though.
If move got it's own card like collector or bishop, +1 for every card that moved this game. Would probably need to start at 0 power though. I don't think that would even be the right sort of fit hut having a card capable of great ppwer like that would be good. As I explain that effect I realise that probably would need to be a six cost so you need to decide between that and Heimdall
Ur right cosy there should be a more onreveal cards that odin can reproc to make a archetype better but not broken like a 1 or 2 cost card that doesnt increase alot of power but like plus 1 or 2 power to a random card in this location would help so much
I think the issue with Destroy right now is that both of the dominant decks directly mess it up. Leech effectively kills any destroy deck strategy, and Shuri decks load 2 lanes with Armor and Cosmo. So there's little opportunity to excel with Destroy. I've been trying all week to have some fun with Nimrod, but I'm going nowhere because I can't get much destroyed.
a 5 cost that moved cards you already played to the right would have to be somewhat limited, but it'd be a great card even for non move decks for that surprise factor I'd think. I'd say it should do something like "Move all cards at this location to the right" or "Move one card from each location to the right" something like that so it's a little less strong than Heimdol
I cant believe they didn't mention valkerie. That proves its the best most unexpected turn 6 surprise. Definitely flips the game. Literally you forgot the best turn 6 surprise card. Wow.
Queen Ramonda. 4/4. Ongoing: The 2 left cards on your hand cannot be discarded. Helps with hella but not that easy as you need to place hella in the right position in your hand. On theme because it is similar to nakia and maybe this will help nakia be viable.
Best Variant to me is the Psylocke one with the moon at her back by Ngu. But so many will pick a Psylocke variant, lol, since hers are consistently good.
Once Ghost Spider comes I think it’ll be moves day to shine. Also I’d love one that moves all your current cards at a location to a random other location. Basically Beast but instead of to hand, they scatter.
@@drorios8864 so playing move, my big problem is outside of Cloak and Heimdall, it’s hard to target a specific card that’s already been played to move. So it’s hard to get more than 1 actual threat. If I have an 8 power Vulture and a 4 power Dagger, I can’t just Dr Strange the Dagger for instance. The version of Ghost Spider I remember is that it moves the last card you played. Just gives a bit more control. I don’t think it will be OP, but I think it can be good with a bit more control. Would also be nice to get some version of Iron Fist or Heimdall or something that can move right.
@Rivhi I see. Yes ghost spider will help. I believe they are afraid to have a card that moves cards to the right. Probably feel like it will be busted.
Heimdall is honestly one of my favourite cards in Shuri lately. I dont have she-hulk so I use Doc Ock I like to set up my right lane Armor so that I can play Doc Ock there on turn 5 if they have a lot of cards in their hand. Then Heimdall turn 6. I find it to be very consistent if I had to Ebony Maw without Zero early for priority because opponents tends not to build far past the 7 power he has to secure the zone.
As soon as Cozy mentioned that Master Mold is a 2 cost it hit me that that means if your opponent didn't play any cards yet, which people often wait till 3 to play, then you will fill there hand!
Nobody ever expects Valkyrie outside of Cerebro. I mean, lots of people don't even expect it in cerebro 3 but I've juiced so many 4 and 8 cubers with Valkyrie it's crazy.
Honestly, the best thing they can do for Move is to get the MANY datamined move cards out asap, because after they come out, it'll still take a month or two for players to get them. I like how Kraven also interacts with Magneto/Polaris/Aero type cards, maybe something else that can benefit from that. Move is move, no matter which side it happens. lol How about a card that is like Iron Fist, but instead of switches places with the next card you play? Doctor Strange could use a buff. I've started seeing move players cut him, which is surprising.
I'm the opposite right now, I'm not climbing at all and stuck between 70-77 I can't seem to get out of that zone for some reason. Made infinite last season ._.
Arnim Zola is only surprising in none shuri decks. Its often better to play Red Skull into an armor or cosmo lane to protect him and then aero or taskmaster on turn 6. You can also play She Hulk, Taskmaster on turn 6 instead and your opponent cant shang chi because you dont have priority

Ur right cosy there should be a more onreveal cards that odin can reproc to make a archetype better but not broken like a 1 or 2 cost card that doesnt increase alot of power but like plus 1 or 2 power to a random card in this location would help so much
What if Hela had just a small “negative priority” on getting discarded on the back end? Like it just is less likely to get discarded?
Currently at 97 with my Knull, deck, with Nimrod. No Galactus yet, to add to it, but almost there!
Biggest surprise card against me is Valkyrie. I've lost so many games to her on turn 6.
Part of me wants Heimdall to get that 6/9 Power boost but I'm also really happy knowing that he can dodge Shang
I've lost quite a few games to the surprise Ultron card. I can't even be mad because it wasn't a thing that I expected.
Orca was my very last series 3 card. I finished pool 3 today finally!
I use the Strong Guy zoo deck a lot when killmonger isn't prevalent. Wins me a lot by surprise.
But so many will pick a Psylocke variant, lol, since hers are consistently good.
maybe Heimdall moving cards depending on where he's dropped so say left lane or right lane fo example
Once Ghost Spider comes I think it’ll be moves day to shine. Also I’d love one that moves all your current cards at a location to a random other location. Basically Beast but instead of to hand, they scatter.
How so? Please explain
I dont have she-hulk so I use Doc Ock
I like to set up my right lane Armor so that I can play Doc Ock there on turn 5 if they have a lot of cards in their hand. Then Heimdall turn 6.
I find it to be very consistent if I had to Ebony Maw without Zero early for priority because opponents tends not to build far past the 7 power he has to secure the zone.
I've found that hes helpful mainly when I don't draw Shuri though as people will at times try to overpower a right lane Red Skull
with the 5 cost drunk Heimdall you could do right then left with Heimdall : completely op
As soon as Cozy mentioned that Master Mold is a 2 cost it hit me that that means if your opponent didn't play any cards yet, which people often wait till 3 to play, then you will fill there hand!
Move is my favorite archetype. It does need a 5 card to move cards to the right. You balance it by giving it 1 power.
M'Baku is a card in Thanos. Great for chucking into lockjaw.
Nobody ever expects Valkyrie outside of Cerebro.
I mean, lots of people don't even expect it in cerebro 3 but I've juiced so many 4 and 8 cubers with Valkyrie it's crazy.
Snap Chat highlight of my week
Honestly, the best thing they can do for Move is to get the MANY datamined move cards out asap, because after they come out, it'll still take a month or two for players to get them.
I like how Kraven also interacts with Magneto/Polaris/Aero type cards, maybe something else that can benefit from that. Move is move, no matter which side it happens. lol
How about a card that is like Iron Fist, but instead of switches places with the next card you play?
Doctor Strange could use a buff. I've started seeing move players cut him, which is surprising.
Would have love for you guys to talk about the Handsize/S.H.I.E.L.D. archetype :/. I understand it's a subarchetype though so oh well
Speaking on the 5 rank boost, the last 5 season I have gone up 20 ranks and down 30 at the end, this season already I've gone up 40 ranks
The highest I’ve climbed with a deck was a doom/Odin/Wong/DD/Guardians list. Iron heart Wong doom and odin is dream lane lol
Build up a massive lane with move cards and then living tribunal whenever that card comes out!
Imagine a move card the shuffles every card on your side of the board for like 5 cost -3 power
I'm the opposite right now, I'm not climbing at all and stuck between 70-77 I can't seem to get out of that zone for some reason. Made infinite last season ._.
How is move picking left or right too powerful? Everygame last turn a lot of the time you're trying to predict which lane they're playing.
