I've Bungee Jumped twice. Each time is nerve racking for me but I just think of how fun it is and go for it. This is from someone that is very afraid of heights. I can't wait to jump a 3rd time
Thank you for this video, your made my first jump so simple and positiv 🎉. A 1-2 week mental preparation and a a really spontaneous decision in the morning to jump in the afternoon created the most awesome experience ever!
Question on the mental prep part, is there a Dresscode ? I personally think that if I'd dress like an assassin from assassin's Creed it would greatly help me to go through with jumping.
Great checklist and very true. I've only done two jumps 10 years apart but I'd have said something similar. Trust the equipment and the pros. It IS safe. Watch half a dozen people before you do the same jump and you'll witness how safe and reliable it is. You'll also see people overcome their own fears and come back up smiling. Putting on the harness always gave me reassurance too. It's feels weighty and snug and supports you at you hips and shoulders. You feel safer already. Don't overthink. The act you have to do is easy as hell. The difficult part is in your head. Switch it off. Don't look down. Don't hesitate. The rest takes care of itself. Bungee jumping is a thrill. It's fun. When you get down to it, it's about overloading the senses in a way that you don't get to experience normally. It's quite a hit. A rush. Your body and mind will be full of emotions. So while I know from experience the anticipation can overshadow the actual experience (which only lasts a few seconds plus a minute or so of hanging around), try to enjoy the moment. If you find yourself on that ledge it's because a part of you wanted to experience it. To know what it's like. Embrace it. It will be a memory forever but the moment itself is very short so enjoy it while it lasts. The anticipation of jumping to the outright thrill of falling is immediate. One second your biggest worry is being on the ledge and as soon as you step off that worry no longer exists. I've heard it from several instructors who tell people 'the worst place to be is here on the ledge' and it's true. The fall and bungee is brilliant. The dread before is a challenge but it wouldn't be so special if it was easy. You'll be so proud and pumped after. I was always buzzing for a few hours afterwards because I knew I just did something remarkable.
@@allyhamilton4056 once you stand up on edge look forward not downwards, just take a deep breathe and go for it without any fear. If you do not jump at first attempt, then it becomes really scary. Hope it will help
@@lean2281 after jump is the actual thrill. You go downwards at very high speed and then rope stretches to push you back and throws upwards. You would feel butterflies in stomach while hanging on that rope. It remains scary till they drop you in boat. ✌🏻 Go for it.

These are great tips. Thanks.

This is the ultimate of not having any control. You’re free falling completely.
Definitely planning on going here someday but I live in Washington state so I can’t exactly make it just a day trip.
Do we need to come with empty stomach?

When jumping is there a person down below waiting to unharness you?
There is a boat down below to unhook you and bring you to shore. th-cam.com/video/3HE9OWFbXEc/w-d-xo.html
Woah dude your face is too close
I hate the idea of falling
