    Hello my name is Travis Jantzer! I'm a vlogger from Oregon in the PNW. Online I go by TJantzer. Jantzer is pronounced “Yawn-sir” because my ancestors immigrated from Germany in the late 1800s. My wife’s name is Cassie and our daughter born in spring of 2019 is named Hazel. If you watch our videos you’ll learn we love rock climbing (particularly bouldering), ultimate frisbee, road trips, diy projects, and drones. We converted a van to a camper for vanlife and take road trips when we have time. We play ultimate in the fall. Climb in the gym from fall to spring. Play Frisbee again in the spring. And play sand volleyball with our friends through the summer. I wrote a book and love writing poetry. Cassie loves watercolor painting and pencil sketching. We both enjoy cooking though she is way better at it. I started on TH-cam in 2011 but did not take it seriously until 2018 and even then I was inconsistent. In 2020 my resolution is to make one video every weekend and post it by Tuesday of that week. My passion is video editing. I started doing wedding videos last year and this year got a job shooting real estate photos and video. I still consider myself an amateur, but I’m learning something new with every video.
    My goals for 2020:
    1 video every week
    500 subscribers on TH-cam
    $10,000 earned from local video and photo gigs ($1000 earned.. but Covid.)
    Subscribe to my channel to follow along. Comment below if you relate to anything you see, or have any questions.
    I’ll respond to as many comments as I see!
    You can find me on Instagram and Twitter with “TJantzer” and visit my website to see my writing and blog posts at TJantzer.com
    Thanks for stopping by!
    I’ll see you next Tuesday.

    Beautiful shapes, shades, colors, sounds and textures! congrats for the works you do and thanks for the quick tips. I've been planning my water feature for at least 2 yrs, but I can't decide for one style.
    I've made my first try in form of water pillars, using 10" diameter PVC piping to fill in with cement, Is it necessary to apply any kind of resin or cement sealant when making a sump for the water feature?
    Edit: I don't like the classic pond liners, not sure why, but I resist to put plastics into the earth (even if they're "green")

    You mentioned using a tub, (which is what I have) would I still need a void for the water or will the tub suffice to hold the water? Thank you. great videos

    • @travisjantzer
      @travisjantzer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      so technically no, a tube can pump water from the bottom up, with no void. It depends on the size of the fountain.
      The problem with no void is when water inevitably splashes out and evaporates you run out of water really fast.
      My recommendation would be to just get another bucket or tubberware container to hold a void in your river rock. Just as long as the fountain itself is not too much weight.
      Or watch the very end of my "answering your water feature questions" video where I give a better diagram of how to install one.
      Hopefully im making sense.

    I m very sorry to say that instead your clip was perfect in filling info and stuff , your final atchivement I think that looks like someone is pissing on.the rocks.
    Please do not be mad at me.
    I would suggest that you could put a jet spraying pump so as the water will be ejected from the hole of the rock that you have donne to some purbles or small stones that can cover the underneath covered water basin . I should think that this think would add very much in coalition to your structure of water falling over your other rocks.

    Great content but your music to voice audio is way off. The music is loud AF!

      Thanks, I’ve heard people’s criticism and I think my videos are much better now. Still room to improve though!

      @travisjantzer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I cant say it's easy necessarily. But I think most people would be surprised how capable they are of making someting like this.

    Great video, thanks. Next time, pleeeeeease nix the music? It's just annoying and nerve-wracking, and at times it's difficult to hear you talking.

    So you taped all this when you could have started your vid once you got to your in-laws, I didn't mind the trip around town with you but it's unnecessary really..great video regardless

      Yea so this was back when I was just doing weekly Vlogs. I didn’t really intend for so many people to see this.
      I’m not complaining though! My recent videos are much more cohesive and to the point.

    At 6:01 we see you digging. The camera turns away to a toddler. Camera goes back, looks like bricks stacked. Did you use the prior pan? Why waste our time if you don't show us exactly how to do it? I assume that was why you made the video. Please then shame the video, watch me run errands.

      This video was actually intended to be a vlog for my friends and family. I had only 100 subs at the time and my videos were getting 50 views.
      I believe I’ve explained the install much better with this video here: th-cam.com/video/DKkZECwngCo/w-d-xo.html
      It is a similar design in concept. Hopefully it helps. Ask me any questions if it does not!

    Doing it for the mother in law? Really? Lemme guess, you came up with the idea and paid for everything and did all the work and it turnned out absolutely amazing but the entire time SHE told you what to do how to do it and how dissatisfied she was with it when you were done.
