- On the last day of my suspenseful trip to Mombasa, I knew I had to go out strong. Locals had told me about a local liquor in the area called Mnazi, or palm wine. Trying new spirits in Africa had always led to fun experiences in the past like meeting my new wives or running from cannibals, so I was interested. Little did I know, I was walking into a trap, and it was only the most interesting man in Mombasa who could save me.

It's easy to look down on him from our comfort. I just got fast food. I order my groceries pick up. I grew up without a lot of money and it wasn't a big deal even coming from that situation for me to go to school and become a systems engineer. Not needing to try and tour guide random tourists to make good money. I live in a place with law and order.i have a closet full of clothes. Heat. Ac. I live so comfortably i choose to take care of a pet. I buy the pet high quality food.
