Did she win anything previously?
Lindsey is a shining example of first failing and then learning what to do, and growing as a result. The fact that she has appeared on AGT to enhance other performers shows that the AGT people have great respect for her by having her on again and again. That's success. Real success.
Finally, a comment that doesn't outright slander AGT for rejecting her. I was happy they rejected her. She's more successful right now than an alternate universe where AGT did accept her back then.
Shin is the greatest of the greats, and Lindsey is so very talented. This was the PERFECT pairing. Thank you for this AGT. True talent working in harmony.

Did anyone else notice how that card kept flipping back and forth between having a black hole and then a smooth queen of hearts surface?? The magic was in the details and incredible, and I really feel like a lot of close up attention was not given to Shim at times to really notice a lot of the subtle magic.
Facts like a lot of his detailed tricks were overlooked or not caught by the audience. U can tell by the reactions that they missed it but then again a lot was going on and I’m sure the cameraman was getting confused as well😂
I'm glad you mentioned it as I paid extremely close attention to every detail. But amazing and mind blowing 🤯 at his shows.

I felt the same too, I was trying hard to focus on Shim's magic tricks, but the camera focusing more on Lindsey 😂❤️ .. so yeah we missed a lot on Shim .. but both talents are magical .. superb collaboration 🌟🌟❤️

To this very day, I STILL can’t believe that NONE of the judges ever gave Shin the golden buzzer.... Not that he needed it though ✌️😁
I'm sure his 2 "Fooled Us" trophies from Penn & Teller far outweigh any gold confetti.
@@culater6287 ... By a country mile 🤟😄. As we all know, the golden buzzer only advances you forward 1 round on the show whereas the “Fool Us” trophies, like you said, would carry a lot more weight, or “clout” ✊️😁
Golden buzzer acts seldom won the whole thing tho. A lot of times (especially on AGT) the golden buzzer is for inspirational purposes
@@walle020 5 out of 7 seasons that they had the Golden Buzzer have won AGT. Don't know what you mean using the word "seldom". Yes, MOST acknowledge that the GB is used for inspirational purposes. But the bad part of it for fans of a certain performer (like Shin Lim), is one less performance to view during a normal season.
We know Shin Lim does not need them.

This piece she wrote and played is the score that was chosen for the mountain clmbing documentary "Fine Lines" that was the first time I heard her play. I had no idea who was creating that magic on the violin, but I quickly found out and have been addicted to her gift ever since. Shine on Lindsey !

Two of my absolute favorite performance people. Couldn't ask for a more, literally magical moment. She was on AGT a long time ago and got the cut yet here she is, back again as a guest appearance. Such grace and beauty AND playing Crystalize.AMAZING!

I love both magic and music and the two presented it with great ease; they were extremely magnificent! However, it was very hard to focus on, or even notice Lindsey as she performed so beautifully whenever Shin came about with his tricks, especially with the "oohs" and "ahhs" of the crowd! Lindsey provided the background music for Shin's performance. That's only what it seemed to me; no hard feelings to anyone!

As a violinist myself you just get really good at holding between your chin and shoulder. She also has a shoulder rest on it which helps keep it in the right position
