Thank God the storm surge didn’t hit like they forecasted…so many people have been praying for FL residents and there is damage but it could have been worse. Praying for their strength in the coming months and years as they rebuild ❤️🙏🏾
Continue Prayers My God!
As bad as hurricane Milton was, it could've been much worse.
I was thinking the same thing.
Have there been any cameras that have the "surge" on video ?
Who leaves a crane up during a hurricane? Hope no one was in those buildings. Stay safe everyone❤
I’m gonna just take a guess here and say maybe it has to do with a liability in the contract? Where damaged to a crane can only be held liable if it’s on a particular property for a particular job once you move that crane then they could be sued and I’m sure Companies always want to prevent themselves from stuff like that.
Leaving a crane up during a hurricane😮 oh heavens her coat is still wet😂😂
Why did they leave a crane up?
they probably had no time due to the previous hurricane
I saw somewhere that it takes days/weeks to take cranes down
They said on one report that it takes a very long time to disassemble a crane, and it simply could not be done in a few days. Sounds like cranes need to be redesigned so they can at least be lowered.
@@lucystrider728 ooo eee I know that was something when it went down. I knew a man that's son died under one that fell over.
@@rikkiebailey1270 San Diego California why did we see crane with out building some thing.
The one silver lining is Hurricane Milton only passed over Florida west to east, instead of going up the east coast into other states already hit by Hurricane Helene.
Helene covered the entire state going up the WEST COAST
Please tell us how it didn't affect 3/4 of the state ?
How many states were destroyed by Helene FROM THE WEST COAST ???😮
As we go further in climate change, the eastern sea board goes underwater. This is only the start
Climate change on earth has been going on since the beginning. When mother earth decides to change she don't ask permission 😊
Haha, yup they said that 30 years ago. Nothing is under water yet. The same ocean front towns and viillages. At that time, I still believed this too. But 30 years later, nothing different yet.
@@pawsforblessings127BS💩
@@pawsforblessings127yeah. some buildings occasionally collapse but that is nothing, right?!
I now firmly believe that Major hurricanes repeatedly hitting Florida will compel people to relocate elsewhere long before Sea Level Rise reclaims this land.

@@tiwowo1234 yea that's the worst and people leave pets behind😒
They were smart enough to leave last week. Ever see any dead cats, dogs, birds, etc? Unlike humans they flee. Pretty cool huh?
@@videorocketzmillar007milla5 yea they turn them loose. They know what to do. Unlike me who sees the blazing fire and runs toward it cuz I'm nosey🤣
Me too and for the animals people abandoned because of the storm
Me and my family are doing good 💯
🙏🙏🙏
So if you spank your kid that's child abuse but if you keep your kids where they tell you to evacuate in 15 ft of water that's not??? I'd say that's child abuse and some people need to be turned in for refusing to evacuate and placing their children in danger
Technically that would be Child Endangerment.
My sincere prayer for all things alive in Florida.

It’s pretty annoying when reporters go into the storm like that. What are you trying to prove? Yeah, we know, it’s a hurricane that’s going to destroy so many lives and homes. Why does it feel tone deaf that you’re just living it up in the storm for “the shot”?
Exactly 💯

DeSantis government rescue effort officials. First time I saw that big empty space with the field of empty cots on the news yesterday, it looked wrong.
My thoughts are with those who I grew up with on Ft. Myers Beach, these storms have changed the lives of so many residents. We need each other to get through all of this!
How do you know it was a 1000 year event when records only go back around 250 years?
Ugh, you would have to have taken some basic science classes to understand that there are ways researchers find evidence of prior storms in history…..
Also if you think there are only records going back 250 years you are sadly mistaken. 🤦🏻♀️
Amen my heart going out to y'all of the family I love y'all all wish the best for y'all
How did the guy who strapped his house down fare?
So at least they might now be able to concentrate on all the people still missing from Helene! There's still whole families missing there! The Google doc shows that. Go back to them on the news because their families need help finding all of them!!
Who would leave a crane 😮😮up 👀 👀
Someone that wants an insurance payout
Yup...and I bet as usual they will spend MILLIONS FIRST TO REPAIR A SPORTS STADIUM. Unless that facility is being used as a shelter... no public funds should be used for repairs.
Prayer does help. I don’t care what anyone says. Prayer changes things
Honestly, it could have been worse. I think Helene wreaked more damage.
The tornadoes were very scary and they should take the crane down
I'm watching the news on TH-cam from San Diego California. good morning .

I'll never understand why these clowns stand in the middle of a storm to report what's happening when we can clearly see what's happening behind them.

There is no such thing as a 'Category 3 storm.' Mindless people, it is a 'Category 3 hurricane.' The wind speed categories associated with hurricanes only apply to hurricanes, not to all storms
Hurricanes are like a A bomb but without the radiation…
Powerful with wind and water damage
Have fun with no power, no lights, no drinkable water, can't flush a toilet, no Ac or heat, no phone, no food, for day after day.😊
Why are you yelling?
do the alligators get baked by the downed power lines?
You know a hurricane is coming. Maybe you can't bring the crane down but you could lower it. So if it goes over it won't hit as much on the way down.
Stop and think about this long and hard:
Milton was "only" a Category 3 hurricane but it caused 126 Tornado Warnings to be issued across Florida and 19 touched down.
It grew from a Category 1 to a Cat 5 hurricane in less than 24 hours. The last Cat 5 hurricane to hit Florida was Michael in 2018. That's only 6 years apart.
If we get a major rain event like Mitch, Harvey, or Dorian then the entire state will be flooded from Lake Okeechobee all the way up to Jacksonville.
Last we stayed at Jamaica wi and seeing lighting.
The hurricane was so hyped😂😂
So Florida Man Leaves Crain Deployed During Hurricane?😅
In some parts of Florida, reporters couldn't even measure the wind speed because it broke the gauges.
Absolutely insane to imagine dude. So many people are going to turn up dead. 💔
those dang Chinese gauges
ill bet the ones the Chinese keep for themselves dont break
@@issacgandero3962 because they bought the rain gauge from Walmart instead of Home Depot 😃it broke early on before it even got bad. My friends house boat floating loose out there somewhere. He evacuated so he can't go find it.

I was curious about having reporters exposed while reporting and apparently many others were too as Marissa explained they were between concrete walls! Nice to have that issue resolved as I knew the lawyers were involved in this matter.
Weather modification is the act of intentionally manipulating or altering the weather. The most common form of weather modification is cloud seeding, which increases rainfall or snowfall, usually for the purpose of increasing the local water supply.[1] Weather modification can also have the goal of preventing damaging weather, such as hail or hurricanes, from occurring; or of provoking damaging weather against an enemy, as a tactic of military or economic warfare like Operation Popeye, where clouds were seeded to prolong the monsoon in Vietnam.
Nadine warming up for the next run.
Why don’t they just build only Tower cities connected to maglev Trains? I don’t think it’s possible under capitalism, because they keep giving all the money to a few rich people, so no one could afford to live in them. However, when we destroy capitalism there will be equal wealth and then everyone can work part time (by eliminating all jobs) building T&T, and eliminating all vehicles and houses that are unsafe in hurricanes.
My goodness. 2nd time hurricane! Why is God so angry? How to seek peace from Him?
God isn't angry, Mother Earth is resetting the world.
Wow! Insightful questions! …the book of Revelation in the Bible does say some disasters do come and people still won’t turn from wicked ways.. intentionally doing things that hurt him and others. There is sins in the Bible that we are told to turn from and receive forgiveness (which Christ purchased at the cross)
I'm watching the news on TH-cam from Ohio on my hometown in Florida Pasco county Tampa Bay area praying for you all I know what it's like to lose but at least you're alive and that is a blessing I pray that the state helps people that don't have the money or didn't have the insurance because they couldn't afford it help those people rebuild or get them in a place that's safe and Jesus name bless them all Rich and poor God loves you remember that

Hey kid, yeah you, the EP responsible for this broadcast at NBC, yeah you.... You just broadcast a ridiculously spectacular story, and you didn't even report on it within your own broadcast. Tropicana Field was built into a survival shelter, meant to house thousands of people, and you kids flew a drone over it showing that it was entirely empty. Entirely empty. Not a human soul in sight. I would think a journalist might want to ask a question....like "why". But don't mind me, I'm just waiting for Superman....
This bread is talking about her rain jacket being soaked?
