I took an 18 month temp job in KC and lived jn my RV at a mobile home park (about 24 units) that also had 8 RV slips...kind of an oasis in the middle of a gritty KC neighborhood. The RV'ers were all long term, no overnighters, so were committed to making it a little neighborhood distinct from the mobile home folks who were mostly senior citizens. The owner worked hard to make the place nice...he was there every day, no time off. He was friendly but def not a pushover, so you always knew the rules. He did a great job and mostly did all the work himself with help from his kids. This is not a job for someone who likes vacations or is a 'one and done' kind of person...you would need to find great satisfaction in being your own boss as the motivation for this lifestyle. Back home I board horses for people and its a similar lifestyle so I recognized what this park owner was living.
