Hi all!
The comments that you guys leave is one of the biggest reasons I've been on here for so long. I live my life by movie/tv quotes so when they're dropped, you are speaking my language directly to me. I love both Conan movies. Saw them as a kid, had them both on a VHS, but the music man........the MUSIC! I saw some more Basil Poledouris suggested on Starship Troopers and he had so many masterpieces I couldn't say no to a proper Conan video. Both movies score-wise are unreal but I always leaned Destroyer as a movie. Hope ya dig. Best to ya,

@@331Erock Basil Poledouris just perfectly understood and captured the spirit of the film in the soundtrack, I think.
I enjoy "The Destroyer" theme about 5% more than I do "The Barbarian". Worth to check out "Under the sign of Crom" by Validor for anyone who enjoys this theme.

I miss this era of movies and storywriting. It focused on giving you entertainment and nothing else. Far better than the overtly political and social rhetoric of today focused on making you feel hate and nothing else. Fortunately we have Erock who focuses on making epic music and nothing else. This is good. He is the personification of crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentations of da women.

Conan the Destroyer is the first movie I ever remember watching as a kid. Maybe 1984. Its also what I attribute my love of JRPG games to. This was a JRPG movie lol.
The music has so much nostalgia to me its not funny. Everyone loves Barbarian. Give me Destroyer all day every day

The Barbarian (the original) was the better movie, but the Destroyer had great music, and making it metal is awesome.
EDIT: Gotta love Conan in the background, silently pondering the Riddle of Metal, now that he figured out the Riddle of Steel.
The Riddle of Metal is pretty simple though: There is no music that cannot be made better with Metal.

Another great track. Suggestion for the Erock tratment: Red Dwarf. Both the main theme for the crimson short one and also 'It's Cold Outside' . It's pretty metal already, but I'm sure you'll have fun with it.
