Lethal Company is a co-op indie horror video game currently in early access. It blends exploration, survival horror, and strategy, in a retrofuturistic post-apocalyptic dystopia where players take on the role of a contracted worker for the Company. In Lethal Company, players are tasked with collecting scrap from abandoned, industrialized moons to meet the Company's profit quota. The game offers a balance between risk and reward, with a focus on exploration, survival, and strategy. It is characterized by a realistic atmosphere, where player characters can face intense situations including dismemberment or decapitation. Players also have the option to use fictional medical drugs recklessly, adding another layer of risk.

What is the best map to grind money before you have the spiecals ones?
Just want to add a few more tips for new players:
- The terminal is very forgiving when it comes to spelling and typing and a lot of things can be shortened down such as confirm and deny working as "c" and "d".
Company building works as just "comp" and when opening doors / disabling traps you only have to type the name of the door / trap.
- You don't have to sell everything at once, just sell enough to meet the quota then save the rest in the ship to make it easier for the next quota as items in the ship don't reset after each quota,
only if all of you die.
- Leave items outside of the front entrance so the hoarding bugs wont be able to get them and drag them away and when you have enough outside then go back with them to the ship.
- The normal flashlights are garbage so always use the pro version unless you really have to buy a normal one but even then it's almost just a waste of money.
- [SPOILER WARNING] (If you want to figure out the monsters on your own then don't read any more)
- The spider, blue slime blob and thumper (land shark with 2 big legs) can be dealt with very easly if you just get highground so they can't reach you,
most things that you can jump up onto works like railings for example and spider / thumper can be killed with just a few hits from the shovel / signs when you're on the railing.
- You can stand both ontop of or crouched right next to a turret and it wont be able to see you.
- The big dogs can't see but they can hear you, even your mic so just crouch and don't talk and you'll be fine. If someone is in the ship they can also order something cheap
and the music from the drop pod will distract them.
- You can remove the snare flea by hitting it with a weapon but also by walking through the entrance door / fire exit.
- The spore lizards are basically harmless, just see them as your friend.
- With the bracken (black guy with white eyes) you want to quickly glance at him and it will back of, don't stare at it. It can also be killed if you stun it first then hit it.
- Hoarding bugs are also pretty easy to kill if one or two of you just run it down with some weapons.
There's a lot of more stuff but these are some of the more basic things that are good to know.

Would love a monster guide. Friends and I are loving this game, but I am the scardy cat that keeps panicking and falling off a catwalk. lol
Honestly what helps me is just imagining it’s a complex game of Minecraft. If 13 year old me can handle spooky ambient noises while zombies and spiders creep up on me in caves, then I tell myself 26 year old me can handle some moderately spooky enemies on this game.
@@cygnusedge6847that it EXACTLY what I do as well. Like I’ll be the only one alive and I’m pissing myself but then I’m like “nothing can get me in real life, fuck it we ball”. It has saved us so many times 😭

SAMEEEE. I accidentally walked into the Craken’s room and I ran to fast out of the room I ran off of the catwalk.
Also pro tip, when selling items, spam the bell button so it sells 125% value. He forgot to mention it here

3:43 The teleporter does NOT let you take items with you. It makes you drop all your items on your body. It's primarily used for either pulling dead bodies back to the ship or pulling crew mates out of dangerous situations.
For example: They're being chased by a monster or they wont have enough time to make it back to the ship without incurring a penalty

Another note for beginners! don’t sell EVERYTHING if you’ve already met the quota! we’ve learned it’s better to keep those items so if we are short on a run we can make up for the quota using scrap from previous runs!! happy being a great asset to the company!
btw, for the doors that can be opened/closed by the terminal doesn't need to have the prefix "open" or "close" before the door code, you can just type the code and it will auto activate/deactivate the door/turret/landmine.
I should add something:
*do not stand in front or near the drop off for the items to salvage after ringing the bell*

Hey! Fantastic guide, but to add about secure doors, you can also open them using junction boxes around the facility! Those same junction boxes can be used to disable lights altogether, so there's that
Important item info, radar beacon is cheaper and much more effective then the boombox with additional uses. It has ping that can be used from the terminal to lore monsters remotely making it less risky to pull a monster on you but also is good to help navigate players back to the ship or entrance and if its stolen by a loot bug it can be easier tracked and will show if theres other loot in the nest very underrated item. Also shovels and stun items are very important and makes the game way easier and manageable
There’s so many useful items but it’s hard deciding what to take with you with only 4 inventory slots
You can shorten a lot of words in the terminal. For example you can write: "store" "walkie 2" "c", to buy two walkie-talkies
you don't even need to type store, just walk 2, c

A guide to types of rooms would be nice, my friends and I have been running into this one room with wood paneling and tile floors that we don't know what to do with.
This game is definitely fun because if you can work well with your team you can get very far, but you can’t do much alone in this game.
I was curious about this game but was too lazy to give it a try. Thanks for covering all major aspects, it should be a really fun to play game.
Tip: once you get a crew together and are experienced create code using the ship horn and message transmitter to save on buying walkie talkies and be able to easily send messages to all.

I have to wonder what the point of the inverse teleporter is. It doesn't let you bring anything with you, any item in your inventory is just dropped on the ground in the ship, so anyone who gets teleported goes in with no flashlight or keys, which makes it kinda pointless? Definitely it seems like a huge liability, I don't know why you'd ever buy it. The regular teleporter is the same but you can use it to save people from monsters or recover their corpses.
FYI you don't have to type "open" or "close" for any door, you can simply enter its designation (e.g. "F9") and it will toggle open/closed.

can you keep the ship upgrades even if you die? for example if i buy the teleporter and then i die, i loose all my stuff but also the ship upgrades as the teleporter or it's safe?

co-op for the whole game. to swap players or let new players join you'd have to leave and remake the lobby. your data should save though unless you get fired.
found out landmines is not loot the hardway. stepped on it cuz I was like "why cant I pick it up o_O ?" then BOOM! 😂

You can teleport your teammate's dead body into the ship too
important: it is not necessary to write "open" or "close" to open or close doors! just type the combination and that's it

I wish you could buy a map or glow sticks from the store. My biggest problem is going to deep into a dungeon and get lost. Takes forever for me to find the exit door, would like to buy glow sticks so you can mark a pathway.
I believe the spray paint will help with this.

Started the game, ran off without explaining anything, then i died and left, then the. played for 3 hours while i waited for them because I didn't knkw i'd respawn.
Never got to play, never explained anything. I hate this game now.

Not saying this is fair, i have a problem with not knowing mechanics and feeling left out. So it was just a 1-2 punch that left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm sure someone could have just pointed out the manual and it would have been fine. But it's too late. I don't think i have a chance to play with my friend anymore.

-find an entrance, we gather what we can before it gets too dangerous, we leave with as many alive people and things as we can.
-waiting by the ship you can watch us or take off if we all die.
-you can just bring thr stuff we dump outside the maze to the ship.
They were jerks for giving me nothing. But this game is so fun it reminds me of when among us first dropped. I love not being able to tell them things when im dead. It's so intense!

Nah, i'd meet the quota.
My number one tip is don't watch guides on indie games. The first 5-10 hours learning are always the funniest
Something I found really important is that your player when taking fall damage takes a max and or minimum damage of 20. This can be very helpful when playing on maps like titan where you can easily just jump of the top of it with loot.

helpful tips! we have had a problem flying to the company building several times though... when it said 0 days left, we couldn't go to the company building, the terminal gave an error saying something like "you're outside the orbit so you can't go"... then the ship threw us to the space lol😂😂
You must travel to the company before 0 days occurs! It's basically telling you that if you still haven't met quota before that point, you're done. But it if you did, it allows you one last day of looting to build excess income past the quota
Just hit the lever to leave the planet Youre on then you can choose the target to travel to. You cant do it while landed

it's never that deep. this is literally just the guide on the clipboard in the form of video. some people have a harder time figuring it out and it turns them away from the game. That's what really kills indies

Not wrong, outlast trials is a great game that dies so fast after every update bc its so easy to run by enemies and do objectives fast bc if you know how enemies work, your not even scared anymore. It just becomes a speedrun game. I got bored of it very fast bc it was too easy.
However, guide videos are very very much needed in the case you want to know stuff after playing for some time bc your annoyed of dying so much. Research is cool in itself
