My theory is that the black hole would still have bug spores left teleported to the other side ( the iluminate side ) and they collect it and start breeding a terrifying chimera/hybrid species of bugs to help them in war. Or they could break lose and start being an ENTIRELY separate faction. That would be awesome ngl.
just reading the message alone, what i understand is super earth went for exterminatus option on meridia due to rampant terminid presence. i guess the dark fluid is another term for dark matter(?), since scientist are still trying to replicate dark matter but they suggest that dark matter is the culprit behind the constant expansion of space. i mean if those thing could expand the space, surely it could shrink the space, given the right condition and components which makes illuminate even more terrifying, i assume. the kind of civilization that could harness black hole for their purpose are definitely on the next level/scale on Kardashev scale

what have we done ?! and no, what you think off is a wormhole, black holes ain't no portals, they are just one way dors into death, not even light or the best helldivers can escape
Just a little reminder that the illuminate will NOT be coming out of the black hole: First of all no, its not a portal or wormhole. Wormholes have never been seen or observed and are simply theoretical and only has been observed in mathematic equations. Second of all black holes only have accretion disks if they are "consuming" a stellar body as the disk is formed when the stellar body is being spaghettified so rapidly across the event horizon it glows with the sheer heat and energy. In Meridias case, there shouldn't be an accretion disk as the whole planet collapsed into a black hole. It also is not a wormhole as if you stay in the Meridia black hole area, you can see things being "sucked in" toward the black holes gravity, something that wormholes do NOT do. What happened is likely that we created giant gravitational waves and signatures which the illuminate will 100% detect and realize we have gone too far and invade us from the south of the galaxy. What is also the case is that nothing can escape a black hole, the black hole is black because all light has been "sucked in" to it and is unable to escape. How tf will the illuminate even come out of that black hole??? They wont. Also why would they put the illuminate in the same part of the galaxy the bugs are in? Doesn't make sense. Theyd have to come from the south
Just a reminder that this is a video game. One getting progressively more crap, but a video game none the less. No need to actually discover wormhole tech to make plot stuff happen.

It’s the perfect setup. We caused the black hole, and if it is a portal, then the illuminate will either come from it or ftl jump in to the galaxy to check it out
Prepare you jimmies...the Ayyys are coming
Yea. That's totally a black hole and definitely not a wormhole lol
That is genuinely really cool.
ok counterpoint. meridia is only a couple sectors away from SE, meaning if thats where the illuminate come from, their origin point is 1, going to be the blackhole which we will then need to develop technology to *secure*, lord knows they can just bullshit the canon to do that but still, 2. its only a few planets away from SE. that wouldnt make sense when the other technical origin planets are on the outskirts of the systems. no they gotta be coming from the bottom of the map somewhere, its the only open place left on the map
It was so quiet at first that I got jumpscared by Dough saying "What?" lol
My theory is that the black hole would still have bug spores left teleported to the other side ( the iluminate side ) and they collect it and start breeding a terrifying chimera/hybrid species of bugs to help them in war. Or they could break lose and start being an ENTIRELY separate faction.
That would be awesome ngl.
just reading the message alone, what i understand is super earth went for exterminatus option on meridia due to rampant terminid presence. i guess the dark fluid is another term for dark matter(?), since scientist are still trying to replicate dark matter but they suggest that dark matter is the culprit behind the constant expansion of space. i mean if those thing could expand the space, surely it could shrink the space, given the right condition and components
which makes illuminate even more terrifying, i assume. the kind of civilization that could harness black hole for their purpose are definitely on the next level/scale on Kardashev scale
Damn i missed this, i randomly played yesterday and saw Meridia was a blackhole. This is definitely hinting at a future event either bringing in new Terminids/Automatons or the long awaited new faction
Good video as I'm travelling and can't use my pc right now :p
Dude when that happened to me it said defend from automaton invasion and sent me straight to super earth I was freaking out thing super earth was being attacked lol
I can't wait for the community to finally meet the illuminate the most deadly and advanced enemy of super Earth and then immediately go and cry online about how the illuminate kicked their ass and they need to be nerfed
I can't wait for the people complaining about other people complaining because they somehow feel personally attacked. Likely due to personality issues and anti-social tendencies that lead to recreational hobbies defining their self image.
Wait a minute, thanks to you, the wait is over. Yay, it's like Christmas!
@@sultryjmac right I can't make a funny joke about the fragility of the fan base I must have anti-social personality problems great assessment there buddy 😐
@@sultryjmac Someone's offended
So this is what we saw month ago when it happened by accident
If you try to go back to Meridia you'll see the black hole
We’ve done it, Helldivers!
i logged in late, started out orbiting the black hole, was too excited to actually run to the bridge and see it before the emergency jump happened - would love to see if you get a different perspective
HERE THEY COME
So kinda wondering, but what if the Black Hole lets in more powerful Termanids? The illuminate are clearly going to appear at the bottom, and Meridia is too close to Super Earth for a entire faction to appear.
That or the Illuminate are planning to get us to open another black hole deep in their territory to cheat closer.
No matter what Super Earth got played.
Turned into *Portal
I'm so fcking ready for it!!!
galaxy, everyone in the game reffered to the entire area of the warmap as a galaxy
Ladies and gentlemen
We just made a portable Death Star.
OHHH yeah lets get it on! So you wanted to be a Helldiver you say well its fixing to be hell.
The super solar system lmao
Hug the hole. Embrace the hole. Love the hole.
Reminds me of entering the Andross fight in Star Fox 64.
what’s that armor set called?
Anyone else feel the black hole makes some ominous sounds like something there ???
Bro i got a new job recently and haven't been online in like weeks. Last i knew there was a supercolony or something and now meridia is a BLACK HOLE?? TF DID I MISS
I was hella surprised, everything just happened live an hour ago
I literally got of helldivers like an hour or two before this and i missed it
I thought it was crazy they sent us to Super Earth
...only for nothing to happen
I'm still excited to see what's after this though
The black hole is amazing fr
We just dumped a super colony on the Illuminate's lawn they're definitely gonna be pissed
what have we done ?!
and no, what you think off is a wormhole, black holes ain't no portals, they are just one way dors into death, not even light or the best helldivers can escape
illuminate showing up right before the big patch got me scared and excited
Listen to the background sound from the blackhole it's the Illuminated theme
New tourist attraction (physically)
I'm waiting for someone to start another black hole live stream. 😂
Looks like we just made ourselves an Eye of terror. 😅
Just a little reminder that the illuminate will NOT be coming out of the black hole:
First of all no, its not a portal or wormhole.
It's a game dumb shit😂😂it's not that deep
Just a reminder that this is a video game. One getting progressively more crap, but a video game none the less. No need to actually discover wormhole tech to make plot stuff happen.
This will totally not carry any dire consequences for Super Earth whatsoever.
