    Thanks for showing how it unpacks and sets up.
    Is the Australian version of the Hino Z20 36W 10 Ah 250V? I'm in Thailand and trying to decide between the Hino C20 (non-folding) Aus$633 and the Z20 Aus$903, price converted from Thai Baht. I can get the C20 within a few days but nearly a 6 week wait for the Z20. I live on a 9th floor of a condo so I wanted compact to ride in the lift but I guess I'll just have to stand it on end.....don't think I can wait 6 weeks.

    • @VirtualHorizonz
      @VirtualHorizonz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fair enough, you gotta weigh it all up for whats best for you...yeah the charging unit plugs straight into an Oz outlet without converter. If I were you I would probably prefer standing the bike up rather than folding for a quick lift ride. But the ability to fold the bike up to take to other parts of Thailand could be handy maybe!?!

    Mate great video. I’m in Sydney and just bought this bike from eBay. Are you going to post some ride videos for us to cover the eco, mid and high mode ? Also the change of gears not sure when to use which gear ?

      Cheers mate, thats a great idea. I will try to get one up asap, we've had endless rain over here lately haha

      @@VirtualHorizonz thanks mate. Please do let me know how the 6 gears work. I’ve been using gear 1-2 to go up the slope and 3-6 in flat surface. I don’t feel any difference what the gears actually do. I hope it’s not a gimmick. If you can provide some video content that’ll be awesome. Thanks once again for this video you inspired me to purchase this bike and I’m loving it so far. I’m in Sydney and it’s cold here and raining as well.

      @@smzayed G'day m8, I can help you out with that np...I don't use eco mode, only mid & high. Most of the time I will be in mid mode gear 4-6. Thats starting off in mid4 & going up to mid6 on the flat. Mid4 will also be ok for slight uphills. Importantly you must keep pedalling, even if its just really slow & not really assisting other than keeping the electric assistance in action. When you stop pedalling it turns off & even causes some drag. If you stop pedalling before an incline you will really feel the hill & possibly struggle. You might encounter this problem when there is a turn before an incline where you need to stop pedalling to prevent your peddle hitting the ground round a tight corner before a hill, but the situation should be rare. So generally mid4 & up. But when you encounter a steeper hill its not so much about the gears. What you wanna do is switch to high mode & continue pedalling. If the hill is super steep, you might go down gears but the most important thing is high mode & don't stop pedalling...hope this helps m8 : )

    • @VirtualHorizonz
      @VirtualHorizonz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be cool for camping. I do have a 160w solar panel on the roof of my car & a portable battery in the back I use for a fridge. I would just need an inverter to go from 12v to 240v

    Hey how much range you get from eco mode?

    • @VirtualHorizonz
      @VirtualHorizonz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi I usually just turn off the assist for downhill, use medium most of the time & high for steep hills. I never really use eco to be honest. But I remember reading the bikes can do up to 60 or 70 kms & I think that would be in eco mode on flat lands.

    @jimcraiggeezer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    What's your overall opinion of the bike after a few rides?

    • @VirtualHorizonz
      @VirtualHorizonz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I need to do a proper review, but I can tell your overall I'm happy. My one critique would be that it would benefit with more gears. You generally ride around at 25km/h no problem on gears 4-6. Only dropping gears on very steep hills. A few more gears to cruise at 40km/h would be good. But I think its purely by design, they'd prefer their riders to be cruising along & getting less injured. Its a great cruiser really.
