- I found a place that's genuinely cool, not just the latest ''trendy'' instagram spot but somewhere that's a nice experience with the best views over the city of Bangkok. I know there are many other rooftop/sky bars around but after doing my research this one, Tichuca in Thong Lor kept getting consistent high ratings. I filmed an evening there and added some music, Enjoy!

The rooftop bar is called Three Sixty. I agree, that's another good choice.

My favourite is speakeasy on top of hotel muse, it's not as high up or as busy as most others but has a great atmoshere.

Classy rooftop restaurant with good food + drinks: Bangkok Heightz.
The one you're looking across to on top of the Marriot Bonvoy is hard to beat. Cocktails under 400 baht and used to do a half price happy hour from 5 till 7. Not sure if it's still available but cocktails under 200 baht with that view was a fantastic deal. Above 11 at the Fraser Suites was always good too and had the advantage of being mostly covered on those occasions were the rains came.
I paid 308 baht for a pint of Asahi in Above 11 4 years ago! You can see I've still got the scars 😆

I was feeling 'queasy' looking at that glass edging and seating. Not for me I guess? *I don't like standing on thick pile carpeting never mind rooftop bars!
I am in my 25th year here in Bangkok (having arrived in December 1999). My favorite rooftop bar these days is called "Brewski" - which is ATOP the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, which is located adjacent to Sukhumvit Soi 27. That is about 1.4 miles west-northwest of the Tichuca bar (which is opposite Sukhumvit Soi 55 - aka Soi Thonglor), with the Radisson Hotel on the opposite side of Sukhumvit Road from T-One building. Cheers!

Great video and great views as well. We stayed at the Prince Palace Hotel and were on the 39th floor. I have to say Bangkok has one of the best skylines in the world and especially at night. Keep up the good work Pat!!

I agree Tichuca is the best. If you have time in a good day, get there a bit earlier to see sunset and the city. It’s priceless! But I am not sure there is happy hour discount. The cheapest drink on the menu is around 350 Baht.

thats a nice bar for sure, the tree reminds me of the tree life out avatar , for me though , sky bar at the top of labua state tower is right up there in the top 5 best bars ever , take it easy see you on the next one ,
I was getting serious Akira vibes from some of the pans in this. Tunes were awesome too, got a feeling you know your electronic music inside out Pat.
If you're looking for a more relaxed vibe for a romantic date I'd recommend the bar at the top of the Sofitel on Sukhumvit, Belga I think it's called.
Keep up the good work, I'm not even a big fan of Bangkok, usually just stick around a few days but I'm gorging myself on your videos 😂

Thanks Pat, I've been to most of the Roof Top Bars, but I've never been to Tichuca, definitely looks worth a go the next time in BKK. I've found The Dome at the Lebua / State Tower to be the most Iconic not to mention the most expensive. Thanks for the suggestion.
Expensive is an understatement! It's even Closer to a Real scam, 60 per cent of your glass being ice cubes...unfortunately, it is
the case in almost all cocktail bars in Thaïland and even in luxury hotels. They strive to make as much money as possible out of your drink regardless of quality and customers' satisfaction !
Try Lush Roof top bar above Hemingways. Way less posers. Great video.

Pat! We went to Tichuca twice. It is definitely a great spot. The "maen kra phrun" light system is the icing on the cake. Good drinks and, depending on the night, good DJ's too! Great minds think alike... lol 😆. Great video as always.

Was a bit of a regular rooftop bar frequenter pre-covid, when I get back on my financial feet I'll pick it up again. Some are just idylic.

I’m definitely going to this rooftop! My préférence goes to rooftops with a river view, though, it always gives a different vibe, always more romantic, but then, I’m a woman 😊
