I got two of the recent gift with purchase (GWP) of the LEGO City Sandwich Shop. (Set 40578) So I combined them together to make a double sandwich shop!
This time I was trying to see what I could do with two sets and as few other pieces as possible, but modularising it would be a cool thing to do. I have the McDonald’s set (that I mention in the video) ready to build now, so maybe when I do that I’ll have a go at enclosing them both.
That’s a good idea. I do make custom stickers for some of my sets! But it’s not a very big shop, so Mr Produce and the person dressed as a pea, are probably enough staff for one shop !
Thanks Dyoramic. I just thought I'd give it a go and see what I could do. Dark Tan is a rare colour in my spares, otherwise that middle wall could have been better! Hope to see a vid from you sometime soon?
@@MinifigJez I'm not working on any videos at the moment. I haven't managed to get everything set back up after the house move yet. Hopefully at some point in 2023 😂

@@justthink1616 yes, but with most other MODs I buy in parts to do what I specifically want to do, but this time I wanted to use as few parts as possible and as @Dyoramic said, only use what I already had…. No ordering allowed !

I'm not sure what you mean by "sidewalk level" do you mean move it one stud forward next to the road? As it's a sandwich shop I think teh green and white is suitable, if it was a PIZZA shop, I would definitely add in red too, for an Italian look!

Yes, when it arrived it REALLY reminded me of the old McDonalds set. I have all the parts and sticker sheet for that set, so I'm planning on remaking it for a video soon.

If you have a printer, you can print a “help wanted” sign and put on a tile and incorporate into the set.

I just realized that the female minifigure ordering the food on her smartphone has a yellow Karen hair piece.

@@MinifigJez Yes, even two stud ahead. To place some kind of kitchen in the back. And fill the space behind the door with 1x2 blocks
