I managed to seize the throne (Tent) but I didn't have enough units left to beat the bulgar chapter. All I has left was Roy, Clarine, Cecilia, and a fae with like 3 dragonstone uses left. Had to make a new file.
The Law of Sacae haunts my dreams. It doesn't help that when i first played it I decided to camp and kept being overwhelmed by the 5+ Nomadic Trooper reinforcements that lasts like 1000 turns. The other three maps were probably annoying too but i only remember that first map.
I actually prefer sacae more than Ilia cuz I just like the location more, despite all the bullshit. even though there is bullshit, once u find the way around it it gets fun, or maybe that's just me

People always bitching about chapter 21 in FE 6 when Sacae secret weapon map is right there! I'd rather tanking wyvern Lord than facing a horde of fast mounted bowmen with fear of getting berserked. Thank god for the Delphi shield so Minerva can enemy phase those archers. God I still get nightmares from those staff users

Normal mode Sacae has perfect difficulty, slightly tougher than FE8 Hard more while not exclusively being for sweaty tryhards. Although having two Nomads is already adding difficulty by itself
Considering how ridiculously hard using the pegasus knights before you get to Ilia must mean that you need to bench the Sacae nomad units despite their great early game.

@@bvd_vlvd Yeah. I just seem to use Pegasus Knights more often because of their mobility tho. I already have Wolt and Klein for my archer needs. Dorothy is scary as a sniper too if Wolt didn't turn out like I expected.
@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx Yup, Wolt will usually get one good stat per level and beat base Dorothy by a few points by the time she joins, but it's so funny to me that she's just FE7 Will, probably the worst character in the game, essentially airdropped into FE6 and is so good in those lategame Bern chapters where she does over 40 damage with Silver Bows to wyverns while also doubling them :D But yeah, pegasi have the most utility in the game (maybe a bit less than Valks technically?) - still doesn't mean you have to give them experience unless you're aiming for Ilia

All nomads have 2 range and are everywhere. Without Barthe, you can't draw aggro just to fight back because there's literally no existing chokepoints in Sacae than the Ilia chokepoints.

Add a well trained anima mage because light brand does fix damage at 2 range and anima is super accurate with extra hit due to WTA
