Hi. I was wondering if you could do a video of the functionality of the cook top. Which buttons does what and recommendations of when to use it. Tips and such. I just bought mind and was wondering if the flex induction has a stainless steel border for all 4 sides. 2 just doesn't make sense. I'm afraid of of chipping a corner.
I have a Flex Bosch Induction Range; How can I set my oven to come on at a certain time, at a certain temperature for a specified time? Surely it would have this option.
hello, thanks for the excellent video bosch, I wanted to know if someone can tell me the model and brand of the pan, which appears at minute 4:35 , 5:22
I have identical cooktop, using it for 3 month already however can't find out how to, let's say to use 4 pots at the same time with a different temperatures? I am missing something?
Can you please tell me where you got the pans in this video I am particularly interested in the wide base two handle shallow stainless steel pan and the stainless steel griddle. I get my new flex induction cooktop next month and and researching pans Thank you
This video is wonderful as a primer for new owners. I have had my 30" Flex Induction now for 7 months and it's a great appliance. A review of the Bosch Teppan Yaki and grill pans that fit over the Flex Induction area would be helpful, if anyone knows where to find one. I can't find a demonstration of them anywhere.
You all prolly dont care at all but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost the account password. I appreciate any help you can give me!
@Braydon Rex I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Biggest advantage of ceramic / induction is the cleanup. Suck it up gas cookers. "Spitting oil" from pan frying is the worst. I use a separate high pressure burner outside to do stir fries (for this, a WOK is hopeless on an induction stove). Go with non-stick and wide base and you can get the same effect.
Heating the sides of a pan or pot is a major annoyance I have with gas. And you don't need to use a wok to stir fry. stir fry is a technique that is not necessarily dependent on the pan.I have a GE induction stove now, but I'm moving to florida, I plan to get an induction cooktop after I move in. The place has a radiant now but I don't like those. I'm not buying a GE again for a stove or cooktop. the current radiant cooktop in the house I'm moving into has a 36" wide top. not a 30. So I know I'm going to spend some $$ on that. I'm thinking Bosch, Electrolux or Kitchen aid for the cooktop. I'll be buying that next year.
Tom tommyL Do you mind elaborating on why you won’t be getting a GE cooktop for your new home? I’m starting a kitchen reno and thinking about going with the GE Cafe induction slide in range.
It's ok. It's just that sometimes the damn thing gets stuck and i can't change the heat settings. I have to remove it from the "burner" to get the stove to reset. And then the door to the oven wouldn't shut. This pissed me off a lot since GE kept telling me over and over that once I run a self clean cycle a couple times then the gasket will shrink and the door will fit. Well that never happened and by the time I realized that, I had to pay for the repairman to come fix the door (The hinges were bad). Since it was then out of warranty.
Mike Stein go to your dealer, it is called a TEPPAN YAKI and is available from Bosch as an accessory, also there is a great grill plate also that is great to work with the flexinduction
I saw a video of a induction cooktop by baukneck brand of whirlpool in germany, is coming up with a very modern, but upscale. It should be interesting to see. I came across induction cooktop, and countertop portable burners today, i am sold, but a portable burner, of which one to get for a double burner, and for a good quality. I see cuisinart has a few and the one i like, and a future buy is the Cuisinart ICT-60 Double Induction Cooktop. I'm not sure if it will stand the test of time. I know my 13 piece cookware by cuisinart has stand the test of time. I back that, with any cookware. And i will beat them! Its cooks food evenly throughout all the 13 piece cookware pans, to pots to a double boiler, to all my other cookware. The induction i think is the way to go. I've never seen a boil of water in 2 minutes when my oven takes 4-6 minutes to do the same thing and its elecctric, and cost more money to do.
What?!? True stainless steel is non magnetic and does not work on induction cook tops. My Kirkland stainless pans do not work and I had to buy new pans.
We have stainless steel pans that work - however, they have a thicker base that is induction compatible. You have to double-check that pans are compatible with induction before you buy them.
Was somewhat apprehensive about this new way of cooking after having had for years electric cooking plates..., this seems to be an interesting way of cooking or baking....
Monica, I've had an induction range for 11 years. I now use a large stock pot and put a round cake rack in the bottom. I got the idea from the Preserving by the Pint Cookbook. It works great. It also allowed to get rid of the canning pot which I only used once or twice a year and replace it with a pot I use more frequently. That is great when you have a small kitchen. The other option I considered was using the side burner on our bbq. I figured it may help save on some kitchen heat and mess but never got around to actually trying it.
See the real temperature controol of the controol freak. Why are we still cooking like cave men using power levels? Yep cave men! Still not impressed. Did we really go to the moon? No we are just ignorant consumers. Come on Bosch get us temperature controol please. I’m searching for the Electrolux I thought had temperature controol. Please help and comment.

7 years later and literally no one demonstrates this...
Looks nice but the way she cooked the rice is a crime.

Are there two different temps on the one flex? and stop with the timer, no one is buying an induction for the timer function.

How do I turn off the panel lock
What are the pans being used? where can they be purchased? Just learning induction Bosch just installed!
What a pleasure to listen to this wonderful accent. Very classy ! :)

Nice vid thank you. What is the brand/model of the round flat griddle with the steam cover?
Happy you enjoyed the video, the SS griddle is made by Maxam and is easily found online, the fact that it has a vented lid makes it very versatile.

Um if I’m looking for a video on how to use this product I don’t need 7min of praise. I need how to turn it on and use it.

why its called FLEX?
i want to fix my cooktop
One can still do stir fry in a flat utensil, just hold a spatula in each hand and stir.
rissootoo with oorzoo pasta is my favorite
I live in Balkan peninsula, but I'm at least at 300 km from the nearest sea. So I should be ok, right?

If you enjoy cooking induction is the way to go.
Can anyone suggest what you would use for canning season using induction cooktop? I'm talking just the pot vs. a pressure canner. Thank you~

Thanks for the video.
Brewed coffee is not espresso; totally different products... guess a kitchen person should know that ...
The one in the video is an espresso device. I have one too.
It's not espresso, it's a mocha pot. Completely different brew method.
