As someone who already had an unfavorable reputation this shows to me how big of an ego he has. I can understand having a passion for something, but to be the spoiled rich kid who is willing to ruin others experiences just to do what he does. I am glad that some stadiums banned him from their parks, even if they are minor ones. He will run over people who may get to go to one game a year just to catch a baseball for his views, and to boost his ego. He is just a disrespectful kid who never grew up. He may have done some good for baseball, but I am sure that he has ruin it for some people as well.

I’ve seen him like 30 times at Yankee Stadium, I’ve never seen him trample anyone or take balls from kids. He’s actually very well received in person and lots of kids take photos with him, they even cheer when he catches a ball. There’s a lot of false narratives about him on the internet and truthfully I feel bad for the guy. He gives away most of the balls he catches anyway and I’ve seen him do it MANY times. People drag him for false perceptions and are making him lose the joy he has for doing this, I mean how much more hate can this guy take atp? I don’t like this guy . He is a ball hog and doesn’t care about anyone but himself. I was at the Braves games this week. There was a little boy who was trying so hard to get an autograph for the players. Sadly he didn’t get one autograph. His little face was covered with tears. So I gave him a ball with 6 autographs on it. Hopefully it made him feel better.

I think he's a bit sensitive as saying his name in a video or social media seems like an an excuse for people to dogpile on him. tbh I think the pressures of catching balls for YT content may be stressing the guy out, as it doesn't look like he's having fun out there. Honestly, if you actually watch his videos, he gives a ton of the balls he gets to kids. He comes off as kind of a weird dude but I don't think he's a bad guy.

Going for foul balls and home runs are part of the game and for some fans, part of the experience of going to the game. The thing with Zack Hample is that he goes WAY too hard to get a ball and is way too aggressive. There are videos of him literally running across several sections just to catch a home run or running in front of people to catch a ball that a player tosses into the stands. Yes, catching a baseball at a game is exciting and most fans who go to a game hope to do so one day, but he needs to chill with the aggressiveness. He's not going to die if he doesn't get a baseball. It also doesn't help that he can come off as a little entitled at times/ Like he deserves to get a ball at every game he goes to just because he wants one so badly

He ruins and steals the experience of kids catching balls. He can hand it off afterward or donate $X to his preferred charities but it never replaces the experience. One of my favorite childhood memories is catching a foul ball off Buddy Bell, the only one I've ever caught in hundredish of games attended. Long story short, karma is inevitable and he will eventually regret it.
