The film is superb. But But....Tamil films refuse to come out of anti sanatan syndrome. While all the Hindu characters are grey including the main lead....the super white, no flaws, doodh ki dhuli character is named Asifa. the film goes out of the way to show her as a devout muslim, and also brings her mother to the Hospital....strecthing the agenda. Also the 1st scene needlessly places a larger than life OM on the killer truck.
The flawless characterisation of Asifa reminds me of the Rahim Chacha syndrome Urduwood has imposed on Hindus of North India for 70 years.
Brother I'm hindu from Tamilnadu please come out of this syndrome

Really? Then don’t watch Tamil movies. It’s disappointing that such narrow-minded people still exist. In your eyes, VJS is portrayed as grey, while a girl who appears for just a few minutes in the entire movie is considered pure white. and that bothers you just because she is a Muslim.. 🙏🙏

One of the best thriller film ever made in Indian cinema . My head was running around 1000🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊. This was outstanding screen play. Well deserve Oscar and national award. This film will not get Oscar because foreign only given foreign movie. This film will not get national award because hindi people only give hindi film . Hindi people will ignore this movie for national award. My review this movie was outstanding screen play and director. This movie maharaja was good film.

Typical Bollywood journalist. Hyping Anurag Kashyap's performance. Yes, a good performance but could have been better. But no mention Of Vijay Sethupathy who carries the film on his actor's shoulders. these reviewers are patroninsing about South actors. Hamesha, Bollywood .

But, wasn't the character of Anurag Kashyap very unreal. How can a hardened, ruthless criminal be depicted as a doting father of a girl child. Infact, the character of Anurag Kashyap would have been a pedophile in real life, who wouldn't have spared even his own baby girl.
Just for cinematic liberty, such unreal characters shouldn't be depicted. Doesn't such unreal characters mislead the society.
