Whoooooaaaaaaa omg I was trying to figure out what that meant!!!! At the police station everyone was affraid of the snake except for Maharaja.... so symbolic now that you mention that... wow
The snake can be a symbol of Nalla Shivam's character because the snake was in his house and later it had been shown in the police station. The guy whose head Maharaja cut said that one guy who raped her daughter belongs in police station. So I think snake represents Nalla Shivam not Selvam.
That was the point of the movie. Family is “considered” a god but anyone else you can abuse without guilt or an ounce of morality. It’s a recurring theme among Indians, keep houses clean but throw trash anywhere outside, clean their cars/bikes every weekend but spit on a public bus without a second thought, the list is endless. Very Indian attribute (other ethnicities might also have some of it but Indians go to the extremes). Vijay sethupathi is exception in the movie but everyone else behaves that way even side characters.
There is another small Easter egg. In the opening scene, we see a customer walk in with his pet dog for a haircut. While he gets a haircut, the pet dog is sitting on the floor near the entrance. Now in the second half, when Selvam walks into the salon for his haircut, we see the same dog on the floor at the entrance, essentially communicating that the opening scene was the same day as Selvam was arrested.
@@mattincredibad8624 I am referring to a scene much before the sequence you mentioned. Of course, there are enough explanations clearly done in later sequences to explain the proceedings. He files complaint of dustbin instead of his daughter because he doesn't want his daughter to face more pain by telling shameful questions in court and also his daughter said to talk to the guy who did this. And another reason was he wants to kill them all by himself and after finding one of them is a cop then he came to report stupid thing to check who was the guy among them. That's why he touches all the policeman's back and tear the shirt of first police man. Loved your reaction ❤ thanks for doing this first ❤
He wasn't a cop...he was an informer...he checked cops coz he felt that the person might be a cop also...in a police station there are both cops n non cops...
He didn't "feel" that guy was a cop but instead he searched the police station based on what the first guy(head chopped off) he took out@@ravimishra4914
The best part the dust bin was initially of anurag kashyap .... because it was his house... he had the dustbin... so basically both Laxmi and amuu belonged to anurag kashyap and not to Vijay sethupathi...😢❤
What I really like about the movie is that they showed the daughter in the sports event parallel to Vjs being in the police station. So at first we definitely thought he was just asking the police to find the dustbin because it is precious to him. Also at Selvam's house we saw the dustbin so we thought he stole that dustbin because it was also shown parallel. This is some genius screenplay to play with the audience's mind.
8:46 On seeing Selvam, Maharaja pauses for a while as he realizes that it is his father who did everything with Jyothi. And that was the only reason for why maharaja is quite in whole last scene with Selvam
Whats amazing is the baby daughter never accepted the dads stolen gifts that he bought home . And now the red diamond chain she gave him back in the end . The daughter subconsciously rejected the stolen goods
Its an intense film. Blinded Snakes eats their own eggs. Revenge seeking is like being blind. Thats what the film conveyed. What you sow you reap. This is the villain destiny.
Yeah, after the movie I was trying to think of what the snake meant and I saw in the comments this info on the snakes and it make so much sense. I love that he was also the only one not afraid of the snake.
I've watched reactions from over 10 TH-camrs recently, and your review stands out as a perfect 10/10. Your detailing was excellent, and you clearly understand the movie and emotions well. Great job, guys!
Thank you so much 🙏🏻 it means a lot you watched with us even though a lot of other channels also covered it. We really enjoyed the movie which definitely helps with how involved we get.
Everytime he said laxmi and got emotional because laxmi means daughter in india...godess Laxmi...when a girlchild borns indian family generally says "a Laxmi has born"
Another small detail is the feets, selvam touched her daughter feet with forehead showing great respect and that he find his world in her feets, in end locket hits his forehead and he has to pay with his blood in his daughter feet
I noticed another detail just now. The object that the snake pushes down to break looks like a candle and Maharaja's daughter is named Jyothi which means light. This is peak writing and visual storytelling. much Love from Nepal !!!!!
One of the best scripts I have come across! Thank you sooo much for watching this one. It was great watching with you always! In the start I found it so funny, but when the story line intersects I was sooo much involved! And I cried at the end of the movie
Guys did you notice when Jothi asked her friend "don't you know to ask permission before while taking someone else thing, later she gave it to her" and vjs took anurag daughter without asking... Beginning of the movie owner will tell vjs to talk to the customer not to be silent later when anurag comes vjs will talk to him asking questions.... What a continuation... And while preparing fake dustbin, natty's wife and daughter will come in scooter that one shot will tell natty got a daughter and he does all things for her and when he finds out about nalla sivam , he denied all wow... After anurag intro he will take a toy from the house and give it to Jothi but she will not take it and he will put in dustbin here director not only trying to show dustbin but Jothi is not like her father... And everytime audience comes to a conclusion director brilliantly takes a 180 degree turn to show it's the opposite.... from the beginning naming the character 1.dustbin * Lakshmi 2.police * thief 3.maharaja* barber 4.nalasivam* bad rapist 5.sabari* bad rapist 6.kuzhanthai* big guy gaint 6. Dhana,Selvam * no money thief Beginning of the movie owner will tell no dog will come to shop but a dog will come we thought it's for the dog but it's not.... And he made us believe it's the present at first but it's the past.... present*past We all thought barathi Raja owner but he is labour We thought at intro anurag and sabari was in their house cooking but not The shoe she wanted was red but he bought blue... We thought the cops were bad but they are not Anurag thought Jothi was vjs daughter but not Everytime vjs said Lakshmi story but it's not it was her daughter story... And natty will throw him out of station we thought he went but he came back When he gives bribe he will slap but will actually accept bribe... Natty intro we thought a thief was stealing but not... And so many things like that... If we noticed all these things we would have thought ok director is making us to believe it's anurag daughter but actually not and finally only thing didn't change was Jothi is anurag daughter. Jothi(light) name is not because she is light in vjs life Just imagine this movie in a linear format nothing absolutely zero usual revenge and most of the scene police station would not have been there Lakshmi story will not be there he used non linear brilliantly.... The movie theme is based on contrast of thought. You know first writing a script in a usual way and again re writing it in opposite and then merge both and shuffle it...Wowww.....❤❤❤
this guy JOSH is far far better than that JABY KAOY who does not even get the phenomenal script or story writing what josh got, this is pure this movie is master piece, no other movie has given such beautiful rendition of father daughter relationship not even in any Hollywood or Bollywood crap - forget about small flaws this is way beyond JABY KAOY's imagination
I literally jus commented the same above, before reading your comment. Jaby and Steph sabraw should stick reacting to stupid non sensical mindless bollywood romcoms.
Jaby has been expanding his reaction channels by calling all friends since he hit the Indian audience jackpot. Most of the reactions are fake. Like how can you call yourself a cinephile if you are watching even Hollywood films which are 5-10 years old, and pretending you are watching it for the first time.
What makes this movie exceptional is they made us believe that the story was going in a linear way to a point of time !! And that moment when the audience realises we are not watching what we are seeing. Man the writing 🫡🫡
This movie is all about karma. What he did with others family and daughter he did it with her own daughter at last and realised how it feels ... Great story ❤🌸
In Indian households there is red footprints 👣 at the door which symbolises Goddess Lakshmi, the ending scene is a reference to that ... Just amazing!!
imagine going to theater in jolly mood thinking this is just a normal Vijay's drama movie and see something like this. It took me 1 day to become normal after watching this movie.
Oh I couldn't imagine that. Before watching people told me it would be a dark story so I already knew something would be up. Even still the start of the movie was a bit silly and as the movie progressed it turned darker and deeper. I thought it was really well done.
@@ChaatNChatI went into the movie reading it was about his missing dustbin. I thought it would be some quirky comedy movie. As a father of 2 daughters, this movie hurt me more that a movie usually does. 10 years back this wouldn't have personally haunted me.
@18:14 The reason why he approached it like this is also because he didn't want to subject his daughter to the police investigation where she has to relive the horrors.
Just see it again, Because everytime you see this movie the Range of emotions change every single time. I saw it 3 times and every time the ending gives me goosebumps Physically and not just metaphorically. Most beautiful screeplay.
Hidden details you might have missed. Correct me if I’m wrong. Must watch jaby and audience (1) Everytime before narrating the fake story, Maharaja drinks water just to control his real emotion and pain in check and take extra few second to narrate the story. (2) Brilliant Metaphor for Anurag Kashyap Character. Snakes can not recognize their babies and eat them, just as Anurag's character, And Vijay Sethupathi catches snake in the police station but does not kill it, and the same thing happens with Anurag in the climax. Also there is one more metaphor that can be applied here. Regarding the snake element, this is my understanding: In the scene, we see that a snake comes into his house, observes VJS and leaves while pushing a bottle and causing damage. My understanding here is that the snake is a metaphor for the Singam Puli character, who as per the story has been following and observing VJS character. Here it's conveyed that a snake(culprit) has come into the house and caused a damage before leaving. In the police station scene VJS character refuses to leave the station and breaks the loft revealing a hidden snake. He will come close to the door only after catching it. If we notice, in the intermission scene the second villain reveals that the man who Maharaja is searching for is in the police station. So here we can understand that VJS with his persistence ( shown by his strength ) is looking for the hidden snake(culprit) in the police station and will leave only after finding it. And lastly Singam Puli character has a mannerism that sounds like a snake's hiss. I might be wrong / over analysing a metaphor." (3) While maharaja buys the statue of mother and daughter we can see that after accident the statue breaks and only the part of baby of the statue remains intact foreshadowing that the mother is dead for Maharaja and Selvam case both. (4) I noticed another detail just now. The object that the snake pushes down to break looks like a candle and Maharaja's daughter is named Jyothi which means light. This is peak writing and visual storytelling. This is cinema. (5) While first time narrating the story in police station, Maharaja says that he opened the main gate then door and then turned on the light but in scene you can clearly see that when maharaja enters he directly enters the house as it was opened already plus the light was also on. (6) In narrating the story, Maharaja says that one guy had ears in his back. And there are many scenes where maharaja checks each and every person’s back like when he drops tea on back of the police officers and then cleans it using his hands over their backs many of us missed and also while consolidating the guy who was searching for Dhana the first villain and come to police station to file missing complaint etc. (7) Many of us have one thing to ask is why he complained about missing dustbin. That’s where the genius of writing comes. He could have easily complained about missing jewellery or cash etc but that’s where actual investigation would have started and police would have found out that maharaja was lying but he chooses dustbin because even he knew that police will take time so maharaja was buying time and was doing his own personal investigation to find the second culprit. I hope you liked it
A detail in Starting Scene When The Accident Happened The Statue of Mother and Child fell from Maharaja's hand . the statue of MotherOne is Completely Breaked but ChildOne Survived To Indicate that The Child of Maharaja Survive But In Climex When They revealed The actual Story Then in That Scene The Child Statue also completly Break to Indicate That The Maharaja's Family is Completely Broken 😌
The police initially replacing gold with fake in collusion with the robber is to inflict pain on the corrupt to the core govt officer who can't be charged lawfully. His house highly disproportionate to his actual income is indicative of that, and they also can be seen helping the poor without keeping the money for themselves. That is representative of the cops being honest at heart, but have their own way of serving justice due to practical difficulties in enforcing the law.
You missed one point he went to Police station to find that man with the ear on his back that is why he keeps touching everyone's back. The guy whom he kills first tells him to go to police station near to his home. So he makes a story of the dustbin.
@Mrpositi After the first guy was beheaded. They found the police man's phone number in the mechanic's phone. Also they suspected that a guy will not go so far just for a dustbin. That's when they started investigating even more and got to know about the condition of his daughter.
I think snake represents Nalla shivam.. Snake breaks into Maharajas home, same snake was found in police station, Maharajas task was to get the criminal who was inside the police station, hence director symbolises it showing maharaja coming out of police station holding the snake..
There are so many profound things in the movie.. You find something new every time you watch it. - In the sports camp jyothi confronts and scolds her friend who took her shoe without her consent. But then, she forgives and gifts her the same shoe. Similarly, She asks to confront the thief who did this to her, and then she forgives him, gives him the jewels and she lets him live. This shows her brave and beautiful soul. Amazing character writing❤
Also being his daughter she always doesn't accept the gifts shevam brought to her which were stolen and at the end she throws the necklace towards him unknowingly as it was bought from the money he stole
Honestly I still can't get over many scenes in this movie, and I've been learning so many hints through these commenters! Its so dark and meaningful. Pls try Pithamagan, its such a good movie and Vikram won a National award for his role.
@@FunnyTracks-jf8fw being barefooted is not that uncommon either, in India. and anyways, her leg was injured. but here it was deliberately done for the dramatic effect.

@23:30 There is a 3 second scene in the movie when the police are denting the dustbin which shows the inspector's wife bringing home their school going daughter who is roughly the age of the protagonist's daughter.
I was checking out your reaction and cinedesi (jaby koay) reaction on this movie...they have seen many many Indian films but still the way you felt about the film was exact how I felt. many people might write in the comment box "fake reaction" please don't take them seriourly I found it very honest and enthusiastic.
18:00 he didn't said his daughter got rap*d to the police not because the police were corrupted. it is because the person with the bump in his back was one among the police and maharaja wanted to take revenge on his own. and that's why he didn't said about the incident to the cops. there will be scene where they show maharaja striking off a list of names of people. those were all the cops name.
I just watched this movie and I cried. Ugggghhh!!!! I though it was just a stupid dustbin but when I knew the story behind it I felt devastated. I cannot!!!
The dustbin is called "lakshmi" which is also the name of the God of wealth in hindi, in india daughters are also referred to as "lakshmi" or the "one who brings wealth to the family". 3 men stole his "lakhsmi", the reference to his daughter.
You guys are the one among the few who understood the movie's real motive..to place the criminals in victim's shoes to make them realize what they're doing with others lives. Actually this is how you tell a story with a great social message instead just pushing or underlining the issues. And by the way vikram is just a stupid overhyped film that gracefully escaped from the masses because of its making standard aided by strong promotions.
I really enjoyed this movie and liked the first movie of the director as well, Kurangu Bommai, which was a much smaller budget but the writing is similar. It evoked a lot of philosophical discussions amongst film watchers. Vijay Sethupathy is a phenomenal actor, most of his best works are in Tamil. Naduvulla konjam pakatha kanom Soodhu kavum 96 Super Deluxe Vikram Vedha Are some of his best.
@@ChaatNChatwhat was more jarring for us as viewers was, the police character with the ear at his back is predominantly a comedian. So most didn’t see it coming at all. Imagine a Will Ferrel or Seth Rogan doing this role.

I was sitting in theatre for over than 5 minutes soaking all that in to what I saw ,I was shocked , i was stunned , I felt a lot of emotions I knew this film was fantastic so being a hindi belt audience watched it even in tamil so that I can be proud of experiencing it in theater.
I have watched this movie almost 5 times and each time I had understood some new detail. Like in the last watch I understood why Maharaja was emotionally narrating the story the last time . The scene before the police where discussing somethings about the school where his daughters studying. He was worried that they had found out about what happened to his daughter. That is why though he drank the water (as he usually did) before he started his narration he couldnt hold his emotions in. That made the kind cop to make the observation that he was not really searching for Lakshmi the dustbin. So he turns away from the cops composes himself and repeats "Lakshmi sir".

One more thing i just noticed is that the shop owner always tells him to talk to customers but maharaja just stays quiet becauss in the past when he asked quetions to selvam that led him to lost his wife and daughter so now he is always quiet
One more is ohh God this movie has so many metaphors so all along the villian thought he lost his daughter and wife because of maharaja and took the revenge but in real maharaja lost his daughter and wife because of him but still he took the child and took care of her where as to the contrast selvam plotted the revenge which came back to him .. Hooo this movie makes me sick with all its detailing , it's amaizingggg ❤

Never watched a movie with this kind of writing, direction, and plot twist. Plus, the comments here are eye-opening. 😮
Absolutely. I watched a breakdown of this movie after watching it and there were 100s of clues we missed. I love these sort of mysteries where if you are paying really close attention you can figure out exactly what's going on.
The metaphor for 2 snake scenes is that Selvam is the snake who eats his own children and Nallasivam is the snake who lives within the police. Also the policeman's daughter is the same girl who takes the shoes from Jyothi and the doctor who treates Jyothi is the same who is friend with Maharaja.
the reason he didn't tell the cops the real story is because he was trying to find the gang member who worked as a cop in that branch i.e the short bald guy with a deformity on the back.............all the time in the cop station he was trying to detect which cop had the deformation..........but the bald guy was on leave..........he got this information when he killed the third guy who was a mechanic

There are three timelines in the movie Current 1 week ago And 13 years ago. Through subtle details, the makers even tell us about it . If you see the newspaper in the saloon, it was dated 2009. When we see the dustbin in Selvam's house , it was in a perfect condition which means the accident is yet to happen. Whereas, when we get to the second house of maharaja , it is damaged . Then again the looks of maharaja, also give us his age over time and back. Maharaja wanted to be in the police station and identifie the mark on each of their backs . That's why, you can catch himgetting his hands on every one's back .. be it the 1st death's friends who came for FIR , while giving the officers tea and ciggarets he dropped tea on their backs and checked for the mark. All while getting abused. He even tore the first officer's shirt while doing so. On paper , it was a plain and simple story if told straight... But the screenplay is the main star here.
You guys can now react to Gangs of wasseypur. Its a movie directed by the main villian in this movie. He is one of India's biggest director/writer,he hardly acts in movies. He has made some really good movies.
When the accident happen the doll broke into pieces and only the babys face is inpiece so it says mother has died but daughter is alive but in the last same when they show the recap of the same scene after few sec the babys face also broke that symbolizes both his wife and daughter has died. So its the villans daughter. There are such small details which is very intresting
The cobra scene is a reference to “nallasivam” the co-perpetrator. The cobra is also seen at the police station indicating that the perpetrator is a police informant. If you notice, along with the cobra there will be a basket with three mice - a reference to the 3 people that committed the crime.

Both the actors deserve a national award for their performances. Anurag rocked last 10 mins, everyone literally forgot what he did throughout the movie and started to sympathise him in the end.Vjs on other hand with gentle, sutle and innocent looking character fits perfectly, the emotions, storytelling scenes, were a feather in cap.If the jury of national award is fair enough, they should consider this movie and give Vjs a national award, although Anurag cannot be nominated, as his voice is dubbed.

For sure, they had us on a trip. As soon as I realized they were playing a game with the time change that is when the real game began 😅
@@ChaatNChat Yeah and I loved your reaction🥰
Thanks 🙏🏻❤️
8:46 On seeing Selvam, Maharaja pauses for a while as he realizes that it is his father who did everything with Jyothi. And that was the only reason for why maharaja is quite in whole last scene with Selvam
Love those moments when all of the pieces fall into place.
Sorry for being grammar police but it's quiet and not quite.
@@lonewolfe2502 my bad 😂 thanks for correcting me
Whats amazing is the baby daughter never accepted the dads stolen gifts that he bought home .
@ChaatNChat be genuine and respectful and don't fake reaction. I mean right now you are good, but don't change like other channels
Everytime he said laxmi and got emotional because laxmi means daughter in india...godess Laxmi...when a girlchild borns indian family generally says "a Laxmi has born"
Girl Child not Girlfriend
When a girlfriend borns😈😈😈.
You dawg.

Another small detail is the feets, selvam touched her daughter feet with forehead showing great respect and that he find his world in her feets, in end locket hits his forehead and he has to pay with his blood in his daughter feet
And the locket design was a footprint with red diamond (symbolises blood)
I noticed another detail just now. The object that the snake pushes down to break looks like a candle and Maharaja's daughter is named Jyothi which means light. This is peak writing and visual storytelling.
much Love from Nepal !!!!!
Oh my goodness, what an effing observation
One of the best scripts I have come across! Thank you sooo much for watching this one. It was great watching with you always! In the start I found it so funny, but when the story line intersects I was sooo much involved! And I cried at the end of the movie
Exactly, it got deeper and deeper as the movie progressed.
And everytime audience comes to a conclusion director brilliantly takes a 180 degree turn to show it's the opposite.... from the beginning
naming the character 1.dustbin * Lakshmi
2.police * thief
3.maharaja* barber
4.nalasivam* bad rapist
5.sabari* bad rapist
6.kuzhanthai* big guy gaint
6. Dhana,Selvam * no money thief
Beginning of the movie owner will tell no dog will come to shop but a dog will come we thought it's for the dog but it's not....
And he made us believe it's the present at first but it's the past.... present*past
We all thought barathi Raja owner but he is labour
We thought at intro anurag and sabari was in their house cooking but not
The shoe she wanted was red but he bought blue...
We thought the cops were bad but they are not
Anurag thought Jothi was vjs daughter but not
Everytime vjs said Lakshmi story but it's not it was her daughter story...
And natty will throw him out of station we thought he went but he came back
When he gives bribe he will slap but will actually accept bribe...
Natty intro we thought a thief was stealing but not...
And so many things like that... If we noticed all these things we would have thought ok director is making us to believe it's anurag daughter but actually not and finally only thing didn't change was Jothi is anurag daughter. Jothi(light) name is not because she is light in vjs life
Just imagine this movie in a linear format nothing absolutely zero usual revenge and most of the scene police station would not have been there Lakshmi story will not be there he used non linear brilliantly....
The movie theme is based on contrast of thought.
You know first writing a script in a usual way and again re writing it in opposite and then merge both and shuffle it...Wowww.....❤❤❤
Wow🎉🎉🎉
You should do this as video in TH-cam, Movie Review and critics used to be top notch, now all are just rubbish.

this guy JOSH is far far better than that JABY KAOY who does not even get the phenomenal script or story writing what josh got, this is pure this movie is master piece, no other movie has given such beautiful rendition of father daughter relationship not even in any Hollywood or Bollywood crap - forget about small flaws this is way beyond JABY KAOY's imagination
Jaby is hugely overrated, Steph is a b|tch. Only achara is intelligent on that channel. Hugely overrated channel.
I literally jus commented the same above, before reading your comment. Jaby and Steph sabraw should stick reacting to stupid non sensical mindless bollywood romcoms.
real, they're just a stupid bunch lmao
Jaby has been expanding his reaction channels by calling all friends since he hit the Indian audience jackpot. Most of the reactions are fake. Like how can you call yourself a cinephile if you are watching even Hollywood films which are 5-10 years old, and pretending you are watching it for the first time.
Agreed
What makes this movie exceptional is they made us believe that the story was going in a linear way to a point of time !! And that moment when the audience realises we are not watching what we are seeing. Man the writing 🫡🫡
writing is not that complex but the screenplay and direction by Nithilan sir has done all the impact.. thus the timelines seemed linear :D
I wonder no one is talking about the BGM in climax which elevated all the actors acting to the maximum effect on audience. Great BGM .
imagine going to theater in jolly mood thinking this is just a normal Vijay's drama movie and see something like this. It took me 1 day to become normal after watching this movie.
Oh I couldn't imagine that. Before watching people told me it would be a dark story so I already knew something would be up. Even still the start of the movie was a bit silly and as the movie progressed it turned darker and deeper. I thought it was really well done.
bro i went to theatre with the thought like ok its gonna be action masiah type but bro the way i cried in the end.
Most Traumatic and Dark movie I've seen in my life 😢
It was okay just took nothing like days for me to recover .....
@@ChaatNChatI went into the movie reading it was about his missing dustbin. I thought it would be some quirky comedy movie.
As a father of 2 daughters, this movie hurt me more that a movie usually does. 10 years back this wouldn't have personally haunted me.
With out saying anything maharaja conveyed everything to selvam's soul
Yeah without expressing he made him feel how he was feeling the whole time.
This is the best reaction and analysis for this movie I have seen so far.. also the comments are lit on this channels.. subscribing

Agree
@18:14 The reason why he approached it like this is also because he didn't want to subject his daughter to the police investigation where she has to relive the horrors.
Am a Malaysian and a Malay. Had seen this film 5 times. What a twist. Beautifully written and direct. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Just see it again, Because everytime you see this movie the Range of emotions change every single time.
I saw it 3 times and every time the ending gives me goosebumps Physically and not just metaphorically.
Most beautiful screeplay.
I know right
Even watching this gave me goosebumps
Hidden details you might have missed. Correct me if I’m wrong. Must watch jaby and audience
(1) Everytime before narrating the fake story, Maharaja drinks water just to control his real emotion and pain in check and take extra few second to narrate the story.
I might be wrong / over analysing a metaphor."
(3) While maharaja buys the statue of mother and daughter we can see that after accident the statue breaks and only the part of baby of the statue remains intact foreshadowing that the mother is dead for Maharaja and Selvam case both.
Whoa
The police initially replacing gold with fake in collusion with the robber is to inflict pain on the corrupt to the core govt officer who can't be charged lawfully. His house highly disproportionate to his actual income is indicative of that, and they also can be seen helping the poor without keeping the money for themselves. That is representative of the cops being honest at heart, but have their own way of serving justice due to practical difficulties in enforcing the law.
It's like Robin Hood
You missed one point he went to Police station to find that man with the ear on his back that is why he keeps touching everyone's back. The guy whom he kills first tells him to go to police station near to his home. So he makes a story of the dustbin.
Could u tell me when did the police come to know abt the actual story and start helping him
@Mrpositi After the first guy was beheaded. They found the police man's phone number in the mechanic's phone. Also they suspected that a guy will not go so far just for a dustbin. That's when they started investigating even more and got to know about the condition of his daughter.
How he find first person in bar?
@@shfd3832 By toll receipt that was thrown at his house.
Lakshmi sir. He said with so much of innocence man 😂

I think snake represents Nalla shivam.. Snake breaks into Maharajas home, same snake was found in police station, Maharajas task was to get the criminal who was inside the police station, hence director symbolises it showing maharaja coming out of police station holding the snake..
Nuvvu aagara Babu 😂😂
Emm pani undadu puk gallu

True
This was so genuine
18:00 he didn't said his daughter got rap*d to the police not because the police were corrupted. it is because the person with the bump in his back was one among the police and maharaja wanted to take revenge on his own. and that's why he didn't said about the incident to the cops. there will be scene where they show maharaja striking off a list of names of people. those were all the cops name.
I just watched this movie and I cried. Ugggghhh!!!!
I though it was just a stupid dustbin but when I knew the story behind it I felt devastated.
I cannot!!!
1:21 symbolic. Wants it to save her life again.
Yes
Maharaja is definitely a 10/10 movie. The non linear plot, twist, acting were simply superb!

13:05 biggest revelation of the year..😮👌❤️❤️
I have watched this movie almost 5 times and each time I had understood some new detail.
Your new subscriber here.... Honestly after watching jabys reaction (cinedesi) to this movie i was quite disappointed.
Today's 3rd Aug, I just watched the movie on Netflix, came here on YT to see if any channels made a reaction/review, and saw this video. Watched all of your parts 1, 2, and 3. Went back to Netflix to watch the movie again since I missed a lot of clues. And then came here again, watched all 3 reaction parts, and now I'm leaving a comment.
Ohh, i didn't know she was inspector girl , nice observing
the reason he didn't tell the cops the real story is because he was trying to find the gang member who worked as a cop in that branch i.e the short bald guy with a deformity on the back.............all the time in the cop station he was trying to detect which cop had the deformation..........but the bald guy was on leave..........he got this information when he killed the third guy who was a mechanic
okay just realised that you unraveled the story correctly

Thank you 😊🙏🏻 really appreciate you guys watching with us.
There are three timelines in the movie
Current
And 13 years ago.
Hats Off Both!! This is the best reaction out there. It was worth my time watching it. Have to say you both are really good in this.
Wow, thanks for watching with us 😊🙏🏻
The cobra scene is a reference to “nallasivam” the co-perpetrator. The cobra is also seen at the police station indicating that the perpetrator is a police informant. If you notice, along with the cobra there will be a basket with three mice - a reference to the 3 people that committed the crime.
This is why snake is shown in the movie because snake never recognizes own egg and even the villain does not recognize his daughter
Wow these guys are good! Me being an Indian didn’t get why he went the dustbin route until he explained it. He was spot on getting even the smallest nuances. Instantly subscribed.
I rarely comment on videos but I have to let you know that I was so impressed with your reaction, you understood the nuances so wonderfully well , and it’s hard to grasp some of them if you live outside India ,and I agree with you ,this is an amazing, disturbing , sad and a great movie!!
The way his reaction changed when he realised that the daughter was actually his own blood....what you give comes back to you......
The ending is so spectacular. it is almost at the same level of Oldboy's iconic ending. Only this is more emotion filled.
I watched the movie myself. But then, watching your reactions made my views on this movie even better. I like you guys because you two are so controlled and not too intrusive while the movie is playing and you're watching it. I like both of you gentlemen. Keep up the good work.
