Mr Dave Watkins, he encontrado este maravilloso canal tuyo por accidente y he quedado fascinado. Muchas gracias por compartir tu valioso conocimiento. Gracias, gracias, gracias! I've found this wonderful channel of yours by accident and I've been fascinated. Thank you so much for sharing your precious knowledge. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Love yr mandalla videos...illustrator and this one..never seen such a detailed and pro video...many many thanks. Would love to watch some more videos like this specially the animal mandallas
Illustrator is my go to for making mandalas but it was an interesting challenge to set this up in Photoshop. Glad you enjoy the keyboard commands. They're such an important part of my workflow.
Again, great tutorial with a lot of tips. Thank you. What World be great is to learn some efficient techniques how to add color- either to the strokes or to the fills or both 🤩
You're very welcome! And you're right! I should have mentioned color at some point in the tutorial. I'll add two thoughts here on the topic. For the stroked elements - because we're using the brush tool to create the stamps you can easily select a new foreground color and the next click with the brush will reflect that change. For fills - if all of your brush clicks create closed segments what you could do is use the magic wand tool to select the negative space of your choosing. You could then add to that selection by holding shift and clicking again in a new space. Then on a new layer you could use that selection to add a color fill. Let me know if that was helpful.
Hi Babu - Wondering if you have seen any of my Illustrator mandala tutorials? th-cam.com/video/RsqqVJS6X2A/w-d-xo.html While the style of the finished product is different... a lot of the core techniques would be useful in replicating this floral design.
That's awesome that you found this helpful! I don't create many Ps tutorials as Illustrator is my main comfort zone. That being said it was interesting to see what was possible with Photoshop in this case. I have a donation page on my website that accepts Paypal if you'd like to support my channel. I really appreciate the thought! www.dwcreativestudios.com/donations
They are available on my website for free. You have to go through a checkout process to access the download link but the cost is zero. www.dwcreativestudios.com/resources/photoshop-mandala-brushes Hope you enjoy them.
