Sweet! That's my dream vehicle (second vehicle). I have a 335D that's my daily driver. 271k miles on it. I'm a super commuter and have found the BMW diesels to be fantastic.
Fuck this is the highest mileage I’ve heard for a 335😭I’m high mileage too my 335 has 165k
I have watched several of your videos on the F15 35D. Really good stuff so far. One thing I haven't seen yet on youtube is a good video on a top end tuneup/maint DIY for this model. Replace valve cover gasket, fuel injector seals, clean carbon build up on intake vales, and other while your in there type things.

Reason I haven’t done any of the things you mentioned simply because they are not needing attention on my car I had my intake manifold replaced under recall and immediately after I did delete so there’s should not be any carbon buildup happening anymore since there’s no egr recirculation happening anymore. Valve cover isn’t leaking either so no need there as well. So far this car is like a tank just goes no break downs any leaks ect over 100k very solid 👌👍
Understood. My 35D has 115k on the odo and there is a leak starting on the valve cover gasket by the intake. The fuel injectors seals are showing some signs of needing service. I think this stuff is only a matter of time when you get to 100k on the N57 engine.
@@iamauser2198 check your engine. Partition for cracks from heat & what not. These cracks can allow water to drip on the injectors , shorting them out. #5

0-60 recently I was able to put down 4.9 and power wise it’s about 400hp
I am planning on doing the delete on my 2017 and appreciate your videos. I am from Canada and have checked the cost of the downpipes in the states and they are quit expensive. Are you happy with the downpipe you installed and did you get the high flow cat from them as well? Thanks

Hi, Thanks 🙏 yes I tow with it frequently, best tow vehicle ever 👌 tows effortlessly while averaging 22mpg while doing it. Recently we did experiment with my buddy and his 1500 ram truck I had dual axle car hauler hooked up empty weight 1200lbs while he had his truck empty with nothing hooked up we pulled to stop lights and I was like let’s see whose faster off the line, wasn’t expecting much though I was going to get smoked obviously. Well light his green and I pull away from him good 3 car lengths and maintained lead all what way up 60mph where we stopped. Big shock I think that’s carzy that x5 with a 1200lbs trailer hooked can pull on empty 5.7 hemi nothing but smilies 😁, that was a good example how much torque that thing has.

Hey buddy! I did my ABC delete over 3 years ago and it's been so great! Twice this last week I've had the following code pop up..."p241f egr cooler efficiency below threshold". Any idea what that is? Didn't think I would have EGR related codes pop up lol. Also I have an S54 M roadster, love that engine.
hi, That is weird as if you did the delete egg cooler is technically not functional anymore therefore shouldn’t impact anything, I would just clear it and see if it comes back but even if it does it shouldn’t have effect on anything as ever is not functional any ways. Nice 👍 s54 one of the best engines ever made love it 😊

Is there Emissions Testing where you are located? I would love to do some deletes/bypass, but more concerned with Diesel Emissions testing in Las Vegas
Hi, yes there is but they only check the monitors and those can programmed so it should active and working.
I have the 2016 with m package completely stock and I get 33 to 34 mpg on hwy doing 75 to 80 mph
MPG's are totally based on ones driving styles, for me basically I saw improvement about 1-2 mpg compared to before. It would be safe to say would experience similar based on your driving style if your getting 34 now than you probably will be closer to 36 after for as an example.
@@MotorsportInspired Agreed 100% are you on west coast or east coast. Currently driving a 13 x5 with the same setup. Pretty sure the difference is yours has a extra gear or 2 in the trans. I am hoping to be the first one to incorporate a 2015+ X5 Xdrive35d Trans. Into a 2013 in the future. To see if i get the 2-4mpg increase. To me it would be worth it in the long Run

I have the same done on a 2011 x6 4.0 d. Car goes great however the exauxt smell is unbearable. Does yours smell bad ? I have dpf plus cat and egr off. Also did you notice any behavoiur change in low gear changes due to missing blowback pressure ? Thank you in advance and GREAT Video !!!
Thanks man 🙏, yes odor is somewhat intense about 2 years ago I installed cat th-cam.com/video/G50GR7P5V2s/w-d-xo.html and that has helped tone it down a bit, in terms of shifting I did notice it a little in the beginning but with time I reset adaptations and transmission has relearned shifts and since I don’t notice it anymore, also by installing higgh flow cat you regain some of that blowback pressure.
How many miles on yours? I'm looking to buy one with around 86000 miles just wondering what to expect. I am a big fan of BMW's in general.
Just hit 90k, it’s been very reliable and 20k since tune delete, literally just put diesel in it and drive very solid car.
Which Year is your x5 35d? How many mileages on it? Any issues with this car so far? I am looking for buying a 2017 x5 35d (60000 miles on it) Any suggestions？Appreciate your help. 😄
Hi, Mine is 15 right now I have 93k and the car is very reliable had it since 32k and never had any failures only been changing oil every 5k and fuel filter every 30k and it been running great 👌 had the recall done on it with egr cooler done at 69k where dealer replaced everything even intake manifold free , which after I decided to do delete since everything was brand new and wanted to eliminate all the possible venerabilities. It’s been awesome ownership experience loved it it’s definitely a keeper, its like having a 2 ton Prius 😉 but it’s better gets outstanding gas mileage, has torque power for days can pretty much tow anything, can fit whole family, and it’s been reliable as well. 👍👍 there nothing really out there you can buy that checks all those boxes.

Hi, While I do not have direct experience with bluetec, I know though that it can be done there’s kits online being sold for the delete I just don’t know how involved it is.
Yes it can! I had a deleted and tuned 2008 bluetec. 300hp 500 ft lbs torque at the wheels. Was a beast!
If we are looking to delete the DPF; could we just cut the DPF out (sawzall?) instead of lowering subframe or removing engine mount ?
Unfortunately that would be next to impossible, I thought the same thing in the beginning.
What kind of fuel mileage are you getting after delete and tune?
It depends what kinda of driving I do but on average highway I get 32mpg city about 26, before it was 25/30, biggest difference is on highway few times I got 35 but that’s not common, I have have heavy foot.
What tune did you do. From where and what was the cost and procedure? Thx a bunch

Is there a way to replace the black trim on the wheel wells to the cars body color?
Yes you can sand it paint it body color or you can buy factory painted wheel arches as well, but those are expensive 💰 might be able to find some used ones as well that are painted.

Stock it came with 255hp
How you didn't get a check engine light? I did the same and i have a check engine light
You have to tune the ecu, I did not cover tunning in the video only hardware part.

@@bobbyboucher3842 I don't live in RI, but most states only plug into the OBD, especially since this is awd. If you don't have a check engine light, and the readiness monitors are set, YOU WILL PASS .

How to get rid of that awful hissing sound ?
Actually hissing sound is a result off twin scroll turbo all new bmws are produced with, unfortunately you can’t remove it unless you want to keep all the cats

Buy it and do it yourself. Not too hard. I did my 2012 x5 35d. Got everything from rawtek. Just note, if you have state emissions, it won't pass any tests.

Where did you get the BBK ?
I found it on eBay but that was 4 years ago and prices have skyrocketed since then 🤷♂️ so if your going this mod now your probably looking at double or more in today’s market

@@MotorsportInspired OK, almost like my 2013 E70 N57 30d 245 hp. Except here in Europe we don't have the DEF adblu system on the E70's (Euro5).
How's the MPG??
City around 26 highway 34 if going around 70mph anything faster it drop-down significantly to around 30mpg since x5 is not most aero dynamic car and drag takes affect
